The Associated Press had a feeling that Kamala was the pick. They caught Biden writing notes about her. |
However, he will find ways to show love to the "Brew City." He will thank the city for the hospitality and promise that his campaign will focus on those who were left behind by the Donald J. Trump presidency.
Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence will accept their nominations at a to be determined location. Trump scrapped the Republican convention in Charlotte and Jacksonville after coronavirus spikes.
The Democratic Party once again beats the Republican Party in achievements. The Democrats have been first in a lot of things.
First African American woman to run for president: Shirley Chisholm, a Democrat.
First African American woman to be a U.S. Senator: Carol Mosley Braun
First African American to be a nominee of a political party, Barack Obama.
First African American president, Barack Obama.
First African American woman to represent Massachusetts, Ayanna Pressley.
First African American woman to represent Delaware, Lisa Blunt Rochester.
First woman to be a running mate for a presidential campaign Geraldine Ferraro.
First woman to be a nominee for a political party, Hillary Clinton.
First woman to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.
The only political party to have a diverse lineup of U.S. House members and U.S. Senators.
The Democratic Party has the most females representing the U.S. Senate.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA)
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA)
Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI)
Sen. Maria Cantrell (D-WA)
Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA)
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ)
Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV)
Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV)
Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN)
Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)
Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI)
Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL)
Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI)
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH)
Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH)
The Republican Party constantly tries to rewrite history. They will continue to assert the notion that the Democratic Party was the party of the Klan and segregation. The Democrats of yesterday were conservative and white nationalists.
The party has gradually shifted from conservative to moderate/progressive since the days of Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was Roosevelt who brought America out of The Great Depression. It was Roosevelt who helped build the U.S. military and led the Allies to victory in World War II. It was Lyndon B. Johnson who signed off the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act. It was the monumental legislation that provided equal rights for all Americans.
Republicans never nominated a person of color. |
The Republican Party is about 94% WHITE. Pure as cocaine. The Republicans have struggled to diversify the party. Even having Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) has not really cracked many barriers within the party. The last woman of color to be a Republican U.S. Representative was two-term lawmaker Mia Love.
Joe Biden made the right choice in picking Kamala as his running mate. Now the hard part is getting people out to vote in the general. Republicans are already trying to map out a strategy to undermine the campaign. From Biden hiding in the basement to Tara Reade, the Republicans will find a way to make the topic about the Democrats instead of Trump's failure to control the coronavirus pandemic.
The Democratic Party will nominate Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as the Democratic nominees for president and vice president.
.@KamalaHarris is the daughter of proud immigrants—a mother from India and a father from Jamaica—who raised her to take action.— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) August 12, 2020
That’s exactly what this moment calls for: action. And we hope you’ll take action with us: https://t.co/K3mVwfTxXJ pic.twitter.com/MZLAx9IN6C
Let’s go win this, @KamalaHarris. pic.twitter.com/O2EYo6rYyk— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) August 12, 2020
.@JoeBiden can unify the American people because he's spent his life fighting for us. And as president, he'll build an America that lives up to our ideals.— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) August 11, 2020
I'm honored to join him as our party's nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief.
America is desperate for a strong, competent, and honest leader who seizes the moment, takes responsibility, and does everything possible to solve the crises plaguing our country.— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) August 11, 2020
That’s why we must elect @JoeBiden on November 3rd.
Harris will be the first African American and Asian American to be a vice presidential candidate. She is the second African American woman to be a U.S. Senator. Only three years into her tenue, Kamala's political status has elevated to a new chapter.
The KHive is very pleased with the selection. They are fierce and somewhat toxic supporters of the California senator when she ran for president.
The emoji (bee π ) is the symbol of Harris. It represents a Queen Bee. It represents a strong Black woman and it is often tagged to supporters of Harris.
The πΉ Twitter is controversial. The supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are extremely polarizing and are insufferable assholes. They have already plotted attacks on her character as then a California state prosecutor and Attorney General. The theme they're trying is calling her a cop.
Leftists like Nina Turner, Ryan Knight, Katie Halper, Krystal Ball, Ryan Grim, Matt Taibbi, Benjamin Dixon, Jeffrey Shaun King, Cenk Uygur, Kyle Kulinski, Briahna Joy Gray, Cornel West and others will continue to push conspiracies about Biden and Harris.
The leftists are trying to create a political party. Yeah, good luck on that!
RIGHT NOW MY ELECTION PREDICTION SAYS THAT DONALD TRUMP'S REELECTION CHANCES DROPPED FROM 48.9% to 47.4%.
The political map looks favorable for Biden. However, we must not get too complacent. We must get registered to vote. We must vote either in person, by mail or absentee.
Harris will face an onslaught of sexist, racist and borderline stupid remarks from conservative agitators and leftists. The noise is loud and they're actively trying to engage in helping Trump win reelection. We must not allow them to win.
This election is very important. If you're satisfied with the direction of the country, by all means vote for Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence. But if you're concerned about your health, your finances, your home and your job being lost because of COVID-19 and Trump's failure to control it, then vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
