The rumored relationship between Mississauga rapper/singer Tory Lanez and Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion is apparently over. There was an incident that has the Canadian entertainer in the county lockup.
Lanez (born Daystar Peterson) was arrested for gun charges. He apparently fired his gun inside the SUV where he and Megan (born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) was riding.
TMZ reports that the two were at a pool party at Kylie Jenner's home. Police were called to reports of shots fired outside a Hollywood Hills residence on Sunday. They found a concealed weapon inside the vehicle that Lanez was driving. Megan was his passenger and taken to the hospital for medical treatment after injuring her foot on broken glass inside the vehicle.
TMZ reported the 25 year old rapper known for Hot Girl Summer and Savage is listed at the hospital in Los Angeles as a "victim." LAPD confirms that he was charged with gun charges and shortly released after posting a $35,000 "get out of jail" card. He will be arraigned in October.
Megan Thee Stallion had the No. 1 single in the country with Savage featuring Queen Bey (Beyonce Knowles). The two couldn't film the video because of COVID-19. So they had decided to pick the most inspiring Tik Tok videos of fans dancing to their single as their music video.

For every time they lower flags, offer moments of silence and candlelight vigils, we just offer "feel good-isms."

We have mass shootings in the United States everyday. We are the only country in the world that continues to do nothing about this. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and agitators in the junk food media have moved on from dealing with this. They're too busy sniping over partisan blame games. With Trump being impeached while in office, he's unlikely to focus on gun violence.
Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.
It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. A mass shooting will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.
