The ReidOut!

Joy Reid starts her new program tonight.
Debuting tonight, The ReidOut.  The new MSNBC show debuts with guests former 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and 2020 presidential candidate and presumptive nominee Joe Biden.

Joy Reid will officially take the 7pm spot once held by Chris Matthews who was forced out after allegations of sexual harassment.

Joy Ann Lumida Reid is a progressive agitator, cable news television host, correspondent and author.

She is podcast and talk radio host as well. Reid who hosted AM Joy for five years was promoted to take the spot Matthews held on for over 25 years.

Reid will join Don Lemon and Juan Williams as the latest in primetime hosts of color on cable news.

Reid who pulled in over 1 to 3 million viewers on her weekend program was selected to host the 7pm spot after she pulled in ratings during the times Nicolle Wallace, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell took vacations.

Reid on her part had once held the afternoon spot with The Reid Report. It lasted for nearly two years during the MSNBC Forward phase. Her show was cancelled and she returned to being a commentator.

When Melissa Harris-Perry went on her epic rant about her show being sidelined for political coverage, she jumped the gun and got fired out the cannon. MSNBC then recruited Reid to take over the spot after Harris-Perry was fired.

Since then, Reid had gained "REIDERS" to her flock. The agitator has been very vocal about Black issues, women in the media and Donald J. Trump.
Joy Reid has another shot at primetime.
Her career almost came to screeching halt. Her old blog was unearthed. She was then a blogger who criticized Republicans and mocked sexuality of questionable legislators. Reid was extremely critical of Charlie Crist.

Crist who served one term as Republican governor of Florida was a bachelor who had allegations of homosexuality dog him. Reid mocked him and called out gay Black men and transgender people.

Reid admitted she held them views but no longer shares that any longer. She apologized to Crist first.

Crist who left the Republican Party and became a Democrat and now is a U.S. Representative accepted her apology and appeared on her show.

Jonathan Capehart, an openly Black progressive agitator and author personally sat with Reid over this and found that she doesn't hold those views. However, Straight for Equality in Media took back their award after the allegations came forth.

Since then, Reid has appointed Capehart as her permanent guest host and has been working harder to make her show more diverse to people of color, LGBTQ and Muslims.

Reid continues to be the voice of Black women. And I say it again, "Trust Black women when they speak their minds."

Reid is a very smart, classy and a strong Black woman.

Joy Reid will do well in her new role. Trust me. She is a voice that America needs.

The Biden and Clinton interviews will appear in updated version of this post.
