Tamar Braxton Hospitalized After A Breakdown!

Singer and reality television agitator Tamar Braxton found unresponsive.
Did singer/reality television agitator Tamar Braxton try to kill herself?

The junk food media is buzzing about the entertainer having a mental breakdown which resulted in a suicide attempt. Tamara Braxton is the host of To Catch a Beautician and Braxton Family Values. She also has released five albums as a solo vocalist.







She was in Los Angeles with her boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz Carlton. The paramedics found the entertainer "unresponsive" after a routine check on her.

In a 9-1-1 call, Adefeso said that Braxton had been drinking heavily and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills.

The Blast said that "Ambulances then arrived at the hotel and took her to the hospital. Sources have claimed that David believes that it was a possible suicide attempt."

The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that they received a call around 9:45pm on Thursday reporting a female had a medical emergency listed as a "possible overdose."

A spokesperson for Braxton said, "Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day -- more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her."

Braxton was then the co-host of The Real. She has been engaged in a public feud with outgoing host Tamara Mowry-Housley and returning host Loni Love over conflicts behind the scenes.

Braxton hosts a YouTube show and podcast with Adefeso. The show Coupled & Quarantined was scheduled for Thursday but was postponed until further notice.


The 43-year old entertainer who is the sister of singer/songwriter Toni Braxton.

Braxton's other sisters Towanda, Evelyn, Trina and Traci are a part of her series Braxton Family Values. Each of the women are singers and hairstylists in their own right.
