John Kasich Got Biden!

John Kasich, former Republican governor from Ohio is endorsing Joe Biden.
Former Ohio governor and 2016 Republican presidential candidate John Kasich is signalling he may endorse Joe Biden for president.

I admit that I did not vote for Kasich in 2010. I was against him when he was then a Fox News commentator who acted like a weekend version of Bill O'Reilly.

Once he got into the governor's mansion, he first started off as a raging far-right lunatic. The infamous SB-5 law which tried to strip public unions was a notable feature. He also refused to take government funds for high speed rail. It would bring back passenger trains to Columbus and Dayton which lost that services in the mid-1980s. Kasich was vilified by the left for his first two years as governor.

Well I guess he figured out something in 2012 when Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney lost Ohio to then President Barack Obama. Kasich realized that he can't govern as a conservative in a swing state.

So he would moderate his views and work with Obama. When he ran for reelection in 2014, he easily beaten the Democratic opponent. Kasich managed to garnish over 36% of the Black vote. Kasich along with current governors Larry Hogan of Maryland and Charlie Baker of Massachusetts managed to win their reelection bids easily with a strong Black turnout despite that block being strongly aligned with the Democratic Party.

Kasich proved to be a moderate which many African Americans would support over a far-right or far-left politician.

I actually voted for Kasich. It's not often I felt the Republican Party as a party of moderates. I often view the party as White nationalism and extremism. There's no conservative in the current Republican Party. It's basically racism and tribalism. The party is ran by talk radio, Fox News, Breitbart and Donald J. Trump.
Barack Obama got along with Ohio's John Boehner and John Kasich. Here's Obama and Biden meeting with the two.
Kasich got fed up with it. And like Colin Powell, he has decided to step away from the party.

Yes, Kasich is still a Republican but in name only. He felt that Trump has setback Republican outreach for a generation.

He has felt that his attacks on the candidates in the 2016 presidential election was disgraceful.

Kasich believed the Bobby Jindal theory of the Republican Party being the party of stupid.

Now he's seriously considering endorsing Joe Biden for president and even speaking on behalf of him at the Democratic Party's National Convention in Milwaukee or through a virtual speech.

Kasich was heavily criticized by Trump. He called Kasich a dope and failed governor.

Kasich had considered running in the 2020 Republican Party primary against Trump be cancelled that idea when Ronna Romney McDaniel decided to scrap primaries and caucuses.

Kasich has become the latest Republican to consider voting for Biden.
Obama and Biden managed to work with Kasich and Boehner. Obama would carry Ohio in 2008 and 2012.
He complained that "Trump, meanwhile is doing virtually nothing to expand his appeal beyond his most loyal supporters."

Yes, I hear the Bernie Bros and leftists are upset that Kasich is endorsing Biden. Guess what, I don't give a fuck if they're upset.

Many Americans are getting tired of the extremism within both parties. Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D-MA) vision of America isn't going to work. Many Americans don't care about billionaires right now. They care about their lives living under a pandemic. They care about trying to prevent getting the coronavirus.

All this bullshit purity test is another reason to why Sanders and Warren failed at winning the nomination. Biden would be stupid to pick Warren as a running mate. She is too polarizing for the middle.

Let Sanders and Warren add their input but not their message. If we follow them, we might lose.

Trust me, polls don't mean shit. If polls mattered, Hillary Clinton would be the president right now.

So don't under estimate this election or Trump. He could win reelection easily despite the mess we're in.

We need everyone on board even if we have to suck it up!
