Jada Pinkett Smith: We Dated!

Jada Pinkett Smith admits she slept with August Alsina.

In her latest Red Table Talk on Facebook Watch, the entertainer/media mogul told her husband, Will Smith that it's confirmed that she and singer August Alsina did sleep together.

Jada Pinkett Smith had to do the most difficult thing in her life, be upfront about her personal life.

Again, what people do in their personal lives is their business. It's no secret that Will and Jada do share an open relationship but for the fact that the New Orleans singer brought the issue to the forefront is why it's big news in the entertainment industry.

Jada, 48 sat down with Will, 51 for an intimate conversation.


She said that around the time, the couple had a "difficult time" and they had basically "broken up."

The bombshell came a week after both entertainers denied August's claims Will gave him his blessing to have a relationship with Jada.

The Friday episode was released today and it shows the couple sitting opposite each other as they set the record straight and reaffirmed that their marriage will strengthen.

Jada said that she meet August Alsina through her son's Jaden. She said that the singer was 23 at the time and she was in her early 40s at the time.

She said that she felt really sick about it.

They had a brief relationship. August Alsina confirms.

She stated, "And it all started with him just needing some help, me wanting to help his health, his mental state. The outpouring for him from our family was initially about his health. We found all those different resources to help pull through and from there you and I were going through a very difficult time."

Will said, "I was done with you. And then what did you do, Jada?"

"As time went on, I got into a different type of entanglement with August," she said.

When August made the allegations that Will gave him "permission" to date Jada, she knocked that down.

"[Of August's permission I am] only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself," she said to Will.

The singer has distanced himself from the two and told the junk food media he felt betrayed by Jada's reluctance to dump Will.

At first, Jada and Will denied they were having marital problems but today's revalations kind of shows that the two were on the brink of divorce.
