Andrew Gillum Responds To Hotel Incident!

Andrew Gillum doesn't say he's gay but he's in therapy.
Former Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum addresses his infamous encounter in Miami Beach hotel.

Gillum appeared on social media telling the world that he is sorry for the incident that garnished attention. Earlier this year, the law found a man unconscious after an overdose. In the bathroom, the found Gillum laying naked on the floor covered in vomit.

The man who was unconscious was a gay male escort. The incident had forced Gillum off the radar.

It also sparked questions about his sexuality.

Well he stopped short of saying he's openly gay or bisexual.

He did say that his wife R. Jai Gillum accepted his apology and he is working with medical experts to discuss his abuse to alcohol and clinical depression.
There are rumors that R. Jai split from Andrew Gillum shortly after the incident.
Gillum had been let go from his CNN gig shortly after the incident went public.

Gillum was then the mayor of Tallahassee, Florida, the state's capital.

In an 11-minute Instagram post, Gillum described the shame he endured after he was found drunk in a Miami Beach hotel room with a man, Travis Dyson, who had been suspected of overdosing on crystal meth. According to local news reports, Dyson worked as a gay porn actor and advertised himself as a male escort.

The March incident led to Gillum withdrawing from public life, shutting down a promising career that led him to a close run for the Florida governorship. He later announced he was entering a rehabilitation facility and starting therapy for depression.

Gillum was caught with his pants down literally. The Miami Beach Police have confirmed that the former mayor was at a South Beach hotel early Friday morning and in the company of a man who appeared to overdose on the ice. He was treated for his overdose.

The law said they were called to the Mondrian South Beach early Friday morning and found paramedics trying to treat an overdosed Dyson, a 30-year old man from Miami. He apparently had a heart attack. The two other men inside the room was Aldo Mejias and Gillum.

Gillum was not arrested at the time. He was apparently naked and too intoxicated to answer questions.

Now, I don't really care what goes on in a person's bedroom. However, since he's a public figure who works for CNN and faced a federal probe, Gillum is scrutinized for his actions.
