Jackass shoved a park ranger into the lake. He's not shot or Tasered.

In Texas, a jackass shoved an armed park ranger into the lake and didn't get the Taser or a bullet wound in his chest.

This asshole pushed a ranger into the lake after the ranger told the asshole they were unlawfully drinking and smoking at the dock of Lake Austin in Commons Ford Metropolitan Park.

The Texas park ranger told park goers to follow the social distancing rule imposed by Gov. Greg Abbott. The asshole seems to be either on drugs or alcohol. So he decided to give the park ranger a nice cool bath.

On Friday a large group of people were unlawfully drinking and smoking on the docks.

There was a person who said, "I got you" and man suddenly runs up and pushes the ranger into the water.

The asshole was also dragged into the water with the ranger. He climbed out the lake and took off quickly.

Witnesses identified him after he was outed on social media.

He was charged with simple assault on a public servant which is a state felony. He also faced criminal mischief, vandalism and failure to obey a lawful order.

The moment he shoved a park ranger into the lake.

Officials said that the asshole's "intentional and reckless action" caused to the park ranger. The park ranger hit his head as he fell. Had the water been deep and he hit his head, he would have drowned.

"The patrons of the park actually came to the aid of the park ranger. Several people came up to the ranger and apologized for the guy's behavior. That's the Austin we know, and that's the Austin we love," said Officer Justin Berry.

"We just want to remind people to please be respectful and mindful that they're working to make our parks a welcoming environment to everyone.... Everyone's been going to the parks, so the parks have been completely overcrowded," he added.

"Our rangers continue to engage residents on the proper use of park facilities during the COVI-19 pandemic. We ask that the public treat rangers with the same respect they wish to be shown to themselves. Public support is essential for Austin to meet the challenges of this pandemic," Kimberly McNeeley said. She is the press spokesperson for the Austin Parks and Recreation Department.

Texas has one of the largest outbreaks of COVID-19.

Ranger is soaking in the lake.

The state's governor has officially "opened" up Texas but maintained that Texans follow social distancing.

He probably got Tased.

He probably would have face 15 years for assault on a cop.

He would tell the ranger, "Lighten up, we just having fun!"

He would be used as a scapegoat against Black Lives Matter, Joe Biden and Democrats.
