Urbana University Closes Its Doors!

Urbana University closes its doors permanently.
Established in 1850, Urbana University located in Urbana, Ohio is a private university that specializes liberal arts.

It was founded b Emanuel Swedenborg.

It operated as a four-year college and was grant full membership with the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.

The school was struggling throughout the years. It was having low enrollment and struggled with finances. It was purchased by Franklin University in Columbus back in 2014. It was offering off-campus locations in the Miami Valley.

Now it was just announced that the campus will close and have its classes operate under Franklin University.

The university said that like most rural campuses in the United States, Urbana University had struggled to bring in enrollment. They said that many of its employees will be eligible for employment and some will be laid off and given severance packages. The students will be able to be go to Franklin University. Some students currently attending but live on campus will be offered opportunities to have transfer to other colleges and they might help in residential accommodations. Others will now be enrolling through online classes.

Does Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) represent this area. The Ohio 4th Congressional District is a prime example of gerrymandered districts. His district covers, Wapakoneta, Sidney, Lima, Elyria, Lorain, Marion, Bellefontaine, Marysville, Urbana and Fremont.

His district is a safe Republican. Wondering if he's got anything to say about it?

Or is he too busy bending to his knees sucking off Donald J. Trump!

The Great American Comeback.

Urbana University also said that the COVID-19 also placed a damaging blow to the campus. Folks can't return. Under Gov. Mike DeWine's order, all students attending schools and universities must do their work online.

This will damage the economy around the Dayton-Springfield metro area.
