Ashley "Minnie" Ross Passed Away!

Ms. Minnie died in a car accident. Ashley Ross was a reality television agitator from Lifetime's Little Women: Atlanta.
Reality television agitator Minnie Ross passed away apparently from a hit-and-run incident in suburban Atlanta.

She was one of the stars of the Lifetime series, "Little Women: Atlanta."

The show features seven women who have dwarfism. The show follows Ross, Briana Barlup, Tiffany "Monie" Cashette, Emily Fernandez, Amanda and Andrea Salinas. It also has Shirelene "Juicy" Pearson as one of the main cast members.

Her publicist confirms that she died in a car accident around Old National Highway and Flat Shoals Road in South Fulton, Georgia.

"It is with profound sadness that we can confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka Ms. Minnie of Little Women: Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident at the age of 34. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time," said her publicist, Liz Dixson.

Around 10 pm she was severely injured in an accident where a car crashed into hers on Sunday.

She was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital around 10:30 pm where she died at 11 pm.

Ross was survived by her mother Tammy Jackson, her aunt Veronica Deloney and uncle John Deloney and grandmother Rose Deloney.

Her fellow castmates reacted to the news.







Before reality television, Ross was a hair stylist in Tennessee. She got her break being casted on the reality show.

"Lifetime and the Little Women Family are deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of the sudden passing of Ashley Ross, our beloved 'Ms. Minnie,'” the network said in a statement to USA TODAY provided by representative Theresa Black. "Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends. Ms. Minnie was an amazing talent and a special part of Little Women: Atlanta. She will be dearly missed."
