Bernie Sanders Is Running Out Of Gas!

The end is near for Bernie Sanders. His campaign is running out of options to stay in the race.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is not happy about the results on Tuesday. Now he's considering his options to whether he continues on or drops out.

Former Vice President Joe Biden defeated Sanders in Florida, Arizona and Illinois. The three states held their primary elections on Tuesday. Ohio postponed theirs. Regardless, voters came out in droves to vote for Biden.

Sanders and his supporters were hoping that governors would hold off the primaries because of the national emergency. That tactic didn't work. He was trounced in these states and Biden netted most of the delegates to push him closer to the nomination.

The Vermont senator returned to Washington, DC to vote on the bipartisan bill that gives Americans laid off due to the coronavirus some cash. This cash won't do much to help boast the economy. I mean it's going to be money wasted and a recession is coming. Due to Donald J. Trump's failure to acknowledge the threat, the United States is a pandemic. The 50 states, five U.S. territories and military installation are affected by the coronavirus.

The service industry which employs over 50 million people is struggling. The airline industry, the hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants and casinos), educational institutions (public, private, charter, universities and colleges), sports/entertainment and health care facilities are having an overwhelming problem with the government's handling of this.

I am affected by the coronavirus. My employer is the casino industry. Ohio's governor Mike DeWine shut down all facilities that have over 100 people. Casinos and racinos are affected. I am a member of the industry and my well paying job is practically gone. I don't believe I'm eligible for unemployment. But we'll see.

Sanders was a champion of progressive policies. But his policies were not popular with many in the Midwest, the South and Sun Belt.

Sanders strongly believed that Biden is a weak candidate going against Trump. However, he's the one losing to Biden for the nomination.

Biden believes that the Russian Federation and its president (possibly for life) Vladimir Putin wants Trump as the nominee. The Russian troll farm has been running constantly on Biden's weakness.

Today, Sanders got angry at a CNN reporter when he questioned him on what his campaign is planning on doing.

"I'm dealing with a fucking global crisis," said Sanders as he was heading to the Senate floor for a vote. "[Right now] I'm trying to do my best to make sure that we don't have an economic meltdown and that people don't die. Is that enough for you to keep me busy for today?"

Given that road to the nomination is all but over, would Sanders continue on?

"We are assessing the state of our campaign. There's not going to be an election for another three weeks. We are talking to our supporters. Anybody who suggest that at this point we are ending the campaign is not telling the truth."

Biden's strongest supporters are getting agitated with the Sanders campaign's decision to keep going despite the delegate count not being in his favor.

The Sanders Campaign has also put a halt to the social media outreach and wasn't airing television ads in many other states for now. His campaign manager Faiz Shakir said that there was "no sugarcoating it, last night did not go the way we wanted."

Shakir said that Sanders and his wife Jane "are going to get on a plane back to Vermont. Once there, they'll begin holding conversations with supporters to get input and assess the path forward for our campaign. We will keep you updated as those conversations progress."

Former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton warned that Sanders' stubbornness could impact the eventual Democratic nominee. She said that his refusal to exit the race will hurt their chances to beat Trump.

She said, "Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he gets nothing done. He was a career politician. It's just all baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it."
