The Wrong Guy Got The Prize!

The Presidential Medal of Freedom didn't choke his ass yet.
He doesn't deserve the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Rush Limbaugh got the award during the State of the Union from Donald J. Trump. The decision to give the highest honor to that controversial far-white agitator was disgraceful.

Limbaugh announced this month he is dying from lung cancer. Trump decided to use the Presidential Medal of Freedom to assure conservatives to support his bid for reelection.

Trump honoring a bigot was the talk of the night.

Enter Pete Buttigieg.

The former South Bend, Indiana mayor is rising in the polls and is leading in the delegate count.

He is the first U.S. veteran who is openly gay running for the Democratic nomination. He and his husband Chasten are working hard to disspell bigotry and homophobia. They want to be treated as human beings.

The old fart was bitching on his radio show about Buttigieg kissing his husband while on the campaign.

"So I saw a political ad, where Mayor Pete, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, going on and on and on and on, about how parents in America are struggling to explain President Trump to their children. And then I happen to see this --now, what are you shaking your head at in there? You think - natural conclusion - so he says Trump causes problems for parents, what about that? If you're not watching on the Dittocam, what it is, a picture of Mayor Pete kissing his husband -- which he does frequently."
Pete and his husband Chasten. Pete Buttigieg is leading in the polls and is hoping to capture the Democratic nomination.

Other remarks going at Pete kissing his husband Chasten.

"A gay guy, 37 years old, loves kissing his husband on debate stages. Can you see Trump having fun with that?"

"They're looking at Mayor Pete, 37 year old gay guy, [former] mayor of South Bend, loves to kiss his husband on the debate stage. And they're saying, OK, how's this going to look, 37 year old gay guy kissing his husband on stage next to "Mr. Man" Donald Trump? What's going to happen there? And they got to be looking at that, and they've got to be saying, that despite all the great ground that's been covered, America's still not ready to elect a gay guy kissing his husband on the debate stage president. They have to be saying this, don't they? Now, there may be some Democrats who think that is the ticket. There may be some Democrats who think that's exactly what we need to do, Rush. Get a gay guy kissing his husband on stage, ram it down Trump's throat, and beat him in the general election. Really. Have fun envisioning that."

Buttigieg fired back at the old fart.

"Well I love my husband. I'm faithful to my husband. On stage, we usually just go for a hug, but I love him very much. And I'm not going to take lectures on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh."

Buttigieg said that Trump giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Limbaugh tarnishes honorable Americans who fought for the rights of everyone. Giving Limbaugh the award is a slap in the face to people who fought for freedom.

Take the Tuskegee Airman who is 103-years old. He probably deserve the award more than Limbaugh. Brigadier Charles E. McGee is one of the last living survivors of World War II. He was honored at the State of Union. Trump honored McGee as a brigadier in 2020.
Charles McGee deserved the award.

Buttigieg said the honor should have went to folks who served in the military not a bigoted agitator.

Some Republicans have disagreed with the remarks.

"I'm just going to leave all that alone," said Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN). She is so quick to talk about Muslims and immigrants but a man kissing a man: "Uh, I didn't hear Limbaugh on radio today."

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) didn't hear the comments. Yeah, she's quick to talk about Joe Biden being investigated and suffering at the Iowa Caucuses. That means she didn't hear Limbaugh say comments but heard him when he demanded the Senate to acquit Trump during his impeachment trial.

"It's a miscalculation as to where the country is at," said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC). "I think the country is not going to disqualify somebody because of their sexual orientation." So he's saying that he's offended by remarks but won't public come out as gay or say that a candidate who is a Democratic Socialist isn't a bad guy. He wasn't quiet when Biden and his son Hunter were facing scrutiny over fake allegations made by Rupert "Pervert" Murdoch's Fox News and John "Deep State" Solomon's bullshit parade. Graham is basically tap-dancing around the issue.

"He may disagree, as I do, with their policy positions, but the question is what their qualifications are, not other issues," said Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH). Portman has a son who is openly gay. Portman said that he doesn't see how two men kissing bothers him. Yet, Portman is too scare to condemn Limbaugh and he's such a tool when it comes to LGBTQ issues despite his son being a part of it.

According to government websites, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is for "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."

I take Limbaugh doesn't support world peace. He has no contributions to security or national interests.

Limbaugh has only some cultural endeavors. He's been on the radio for over 40 years.

Limbaugh is dreadful human being. His cancer has gotten sympathy from folks. But sometimes, sympathy does come at a price. All the air pollution has destroyed his lungs.... No pun intended.
