The Trial Of Donald J. Trump: The Closing Arguments!

Wrapping up the impeachment trial without witnesses.
A spirited Donald J. Trump escaped a removal from office. He is the third U.S. President to be impeached while in office. Our attention will now focus on 2020 U.S. elections. We got a long road ahead and I am certain that Trump will win reelection despite the controversies, the hypocrisy and never ending hyperpartisan behaviors from Congress.

Democrats are wrapping up their case against the president. They slam the Senate for being a bunch of cowards. The House impeachment lawyers had made the case that Trump had use his powers as president to ask a foreign entity to do a political hit on a potential rival.

The White House defense team will wrap up their case. They had some Fox News themed arguments.

The lawyers didn't really have a decent argument.

But since the Republicans are a bunch of hypocrites and morons, they cheered this shoddy defense.

Now that Trump is likely to be acquitted, he will likely do it again and nothing will happen to him.

Democrats could call for foreign entities to meddle in our elections. If they do so, the Republicans will complain.

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), an embattled lawmaker is confident she will win her reelection bid. She feels like the political winds are in her favor. She made the bold acknowledgement that if Joe Biden does become the President of the United States, she will oppose his Supreme Court nominees and call for his impeachment.

Republicans use this canard that we cannot remove a duly elected president. They used that bullshit about a duly elected president cannot nominate a Supreme Court nominee during an election year.

Republicans do not believe in the rule of law. They use platitudes to feed to a base of Americans who are cynical of their fellow Americans. They're stuck in this loop of constant blame and guilt shaming.

They will continue to push narratives that keep us fighting against one another.

The Republicans will crash our economy, keep engaging in culture wars, continue to instigate neverending wars over in the Middle East and keep us angry at one another for a generation.
