Rush Limbaugh In Dire Straits!

Rush Limbaugh announced he's got cancer.
Controversial entertainer reveals he has Stage IV lung cancer.

Rush Hudson Limbaugh III is the latest public figure to face cancer. The conservative agitator announced on his radio show today that he is being treated for lung cancer.

He just turned 69-year old in January and signed a four year contract with Premiere Radio, Inc for at least $10 million. This controversy certainly got the attention of our dear leader, Mike Pence, Republicans, Democrats, talk radio agitators and cable news agitators alike.

Limbaugh is the the biggest voice in radio. The Rush Limbaugh Program maintains on average at least 15 million listeners on point. He is your cranky old man who spouts conspiracy and insults at Democrats and progressives. He often motivates Republicans and conservatives to vote. He is the gatekeeper of many Republican presidents.

The agitator who has helped bring Donald J. Trump into power, annoyed progressives and politicians alike is now fighting a personal battle.

Although, I've loathe the guy and call him an "old fart," I don't wish no ill on the agitator.

Nor, Sean "Softball" Hannity. Although, I would like to see the feds look into his actions when he's not on radio or television.

Limbaugh made his announcement in the final hour of his radio show.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this... This day has been one of the most difficult days in recent memory for me because I've known this moment was coming in the program today. Now I'm sure that you all know by now, I really don't like talking about myself, and I don't like making things about me other than in the usual satirical, parodic, joking way," he announced on his show.

"It's a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today. I can't escape... Even though people are telling me it's not the way to look at it, I can't help but feel that I'm letting everybody down with this. But the upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advance lung cancer, diagnosis confirmed by two medical institutions back on January 20th. I first realized something was wrong on my birthday weekend, January 12th."

Limbaugh added, "I wish I didn't have to tell you this, and I thought about not telling anybody I though about trying to do this without anybody knowing, 'cause I don't like making things about me. But there are going to be days that I'm not gonna be able to be here because I'm undergoing treatment or I'm reacting to treatment, and I know that I would inspire all kinds of curiosity with people wondering what's going on."

Limbaugh rose to fame in the late 1980s when the FCC rolled back the Fairness Doctrine. The doctrine gave Limbaugh, a former rock-n-roll deejay an opportunity to voice the ills of "liberalism."

He became a powerful voice during the Bill Clinton presidency. He had constantly dogged on Clinton's affairs, Hillary Clinton's feminism and even referred Chelsea Clinton as the family dog.

He managed to inspire Republicans to vote the Democrats out of power in 1994. When Republicans got in charge, they gave Limbaugh an "honorary" role in the party. They believed that Limbaugh was the gold standard to winning elections.

Limbaugh was powerful enough to get Republicans to draft the Article of Impeachment against Clinton.

Clinton was impeached in 1998 for perjury and obstruction of justice. He was acquitted by a slim majority.
The cancer took a toll on Limbaugh. He lost a lot of weight and is sporting a beard. Almost like Eddie Bishop.
Limbaugh was a prominent figure in New York City radio. He operated out of New York for 15 years before he decided to leave the mecca of progressivism for sunny Florida. He purchased a mansion in Palm Beach and built a studio near his home.

Limbaugh helped motivate Republicans in Florida to certify George W. Bush as the winner of the election giving him the presidency. His brother Jeb Bush promised that he would deliver Florida.

With voter irregularities and controversial wait times in Florida, it hurt Al Gore, John Kerry and Hillary Clinton's chances at winning the presidency. Limbaugh cheered Republican governors and legislative leaders for making the state more Republican.

Limbaugh paved the way for a former comedian named Glenn Beck to become a somewhat powerful figure in the conservative movement. Limbaugh also said that Sean "Softball" Hannity is the greatest figure besides himself. Softball Hannity got his break after doing fill-in duties for Limbaugh while he was getting married to his third wife. It launched his career to become one of the most powerful agitators in the junk food media. Yeah, Softball Hannity is a powerful shithead. He is practically eating Trump out the ass.

Limbaugh has enemies. The enemies list is long. Besides The Clintons, he has an enemy in Barack Obama. During Obama's run for presidency, Limbaugh has mocked Obama's middle name Hussein, call his wife Michelle, fat, taunted his children, complained about his vacations, spread the birther conspiracy, attack White House administration figures who he claimed were czars instead of advisors, compared him to dictators, called him a Mulatto, forced Congress to not pass a budget resolution, cheered on many government shutdowns during Clinton, Obama and Trump's term and pushed Republicans into blocking Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.

Limbaugh's most infamous comments about Obama:

I HOPE HE FAILS!

Limbaugh realized he wasn't invincible. He finally saw his ceiling when he took aim at Sandra Fluke.

For weeks, Fluke, a former Georgetown University student was in the crosshairs of Limbaugh. He called her a "slut" and compared her to being a prostitute for asking Congress to consider allowing contraception on campuses for the safety of women.

Media Matters for America documented, recorded and video streamed every segment of Limbaugh's rant. It went viral. It placed a huge dent on Limbaugh's advertisers and supporters. Major companies like GM, McDonald's, Pepsi, Apple, Panasonic, GEICO and Volunteers of America dropped his program.

This controversy has placed a huge dent on him and most other talk radio agitators.

Rush Limbaugh announced he's suffering from Stage IV lung cancer. Do you have sympathy for him?

Yes
No

Please Specify:

Every poll I put out comes with the same stupid ass trolls picking something that doesn't resonate with the general consensus. We're getting tired of this.

Limbaugh at one time was making over $140 million for ten years as the voice of radio.

The controversy nearly got him fired out the cannon. He was forced to return most of the money, take a huge pay cut, apologize to Fluke (which she didn't accept) and not bring up private individuals without fact-checking them.

Limbaugh wasn't as powerful as Softball Hannity in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. Limbaugh, Beck, Michael Savage and Mark Levin were very skeptical about Trump. They thought he was an embarrassment to the Republican Party and conservatism.

They figured that he was ringer for the Democrats. They were hoping that Trump would implode and a "real" conservative would emerge. It soon turned into a bloodbath for the establishment Republicans including their favorite son, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). The conservative agitators gave up on stopping him and got behind him. Softball Hannity was already on board but maintained this canard he was fair to the 18 other nominees.

With Trump likely the nominee, Limbaugh, Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes. Ann Coulter and Matt Schlapp called upon the former reality star to appeal to the base. Trump tapped into the base and bring it home.

Trump would win the presidency. Conservatives rejoiced.

Trump would credit the "Great Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity" for his victory.

Trump hosted Limbaugh many times at his Mar-a-Largo estate. They even golfed together.

While progressives who hate this guy are happy to see his demise, I won't dance on his grave just yet. It's a shame we have empathy. I would not give two fucks about him if he wasn't a prominent figure.

Limbaugh is grooming someone to replace him. Ben Shapiro is likely going to take the helm.

Shapiro is not a huge Trump fan but is willing to support him regardless.

Limbaugh wants someone who can maintain the Golden Mic for years to come. So when he decides to retire or pass away, there's gonna be a replacement just as controversial as Limbaugh.

Limbaugh is the oldest son of Rush H. Limbaugh, Jr. and Mildred Carolyn (nee Armstrong). He has a younger brother named David Limbaugh. David Limbaugh is a political commentator and lawyer.

Limbaugh is nicknamed, the Voice of God, Jeff Christie, Rusty Sharpe, America's Anchorman, El Rushbo, Maha Rushie and other variations.

Limbaugh was married four times. His current wife is political consultant Kathryn Rogers.

Limbaugh has no children. He does have a nieces and nephews from David's marriage to his wife.
