McDonald's CEO Steve Easterbrook Fired Out The Cannon!

McDonald's CEO found himself out of a job after he was caught sleeping with a worker.

McDonald's Restaurants has decided to fire the chief executive officer Steve Easterbrook after it was revealed he had an alleged relationship with a worker came to light. The British-born CEO of the world's largest fast food corporation had $16 million dollar a year position. He oversaw the "working wage" movement.

This bombshell rocked the fast food industry.

In a statement on Sunday, the fast food giant said its former president and CEO "had demonstrated poor judgment in violating a company policy that forbids managers from having romantic relationships with direct or indirect subordinates.

Easterbrook said that he called his relationship a "mistake" and said that he was involved in a consensual relationship.
McDonald's Restaurant over Interstate 44 (The Will Rogers Turnpike) in Oklahoma.
"Given the values of the company, I agree with the board that it is time for me to move on," said Easterbrook in a public statement.

His cannon firing was on Friday and it was reported to the junk food media on Sunday.

He joined McDonald's in 1993 and became its CEO in 2015. He is from Watford, England, United Kingdom.

The company had announced his second-in-command Chris Kempczinski will be the new president and CEO. He was the United States division president of McDonald's.

Joe Erlinger will take the spot as McDonald's USA once Kempczinski is placed as CEO.
