American woman body slammed by Popeyes employee after an altercation inside.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen once again in controversy. This time it's not just the customers acting foolish over the infamous Original and Spicy Popeyes Chicken Sandwich, but it's employees who are losing it over unruly customers.

One man is going to face criminal charges after he body slammed a customer who called him a NIGGER because of a dispute over the purchase of her food.

The employee is going to be named.

Deriance Ra'Shaiel Hughes, 29 has been charged with felony aggravated assault after allegedly attacking a customer who hurl a racial slur at him. The woman Debra Staggs was treated for a broken leg, nine fractures in her elbow, six broken ribs and a lifetime of pain after she got a serving of knuckle style chili.

The argument broke out inside a Columbia, Tennessee Popeyes.

Hughes was working the register when Staggs came inside to complain about being charged twice for a meal. She eaten at the restaurant on Sunday and realized that she was overcharged. She came in on Tuesday to dispute the charges of a chicken tenders, corn, biscuits and two apple pies.

Staggs called the general manager to dispute the charges, the manager happily said that she could return for a refund if she provided a receipt.

So when she arrived, she asked to speak to the manager. The workers on the shift had no recognition of the conversation and told her to come back when the manager she talked to was on duty.

That's when the argument ensued. So in two videos you see that Staggs and the employees are arguing with her before the altercation.

In the audio you hear a man say that (in regards to Staggs), "You are in the wrong place saying the N-word."

Staggs denies saying the racial slur. Regardless of her denials, Hughes and a few employees were telling her to leave the premises or be forcibly removed by the law. So in the confrontation, Hughes is saying that he dares Staggs slap him.

Hughes shoves employees back and leans towards the counter to dare Staggs to assault him.

Two video segments show the moments that lead to a Tennessee woman being served a concrete sandwich.

The manager restrains Hughes and then we come to video where the woman walks out and employees are in tow.

Hughes is seen picking up the woman and giving her a concrete dinner. Another worker is seen hitting her as well.

Now Popeyes immediately fired the whole staff out the cannon and offered support to the woman who was injured. They released a statement condemning the actions of the employees.

"These actions run completely contrary to our standards and the integrity of our brand. Following an investigation, the franchisee took immediate action and we were informed that the employee has since been terminated. The entire circumstance is highly unfortunate for all involved and we hope to never see this type of behavior again."

The charges could put the suspect in the iron college for up to three years if convicted in the state of Tennessee. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
