Former Fox News commentator Stacey Dash is arrested in Florida after a domestic dispute with her husband Jeffrey Marty.

The 52-year old washed up celebrity was taken into custody on Sunday night at her home in Pasco County in Florida. The controversial figure got into a fight with her new husband.

Dash was accused of serving her husband a healthy plate of knuckle style chili.

When police arrived they saw the victim had "red scratches marks to his left upper arm."

Dash was charged on Monday for domestic battery and was held on a minimum get out free card. She got out and was ordered to stay away from her husband.

The manager said that Dash acted in self-defense. She said that Marty was the one who attacked her.

Dash claimed that he put his hands on her neck and she tried to fight him off.

Actually, I believe that Dash was drunk. She has a history of alcohol abuse. But that's not the issue.

This is her fourth marriage. She was previously married to Brian Lowell, James Maby and Emmanuel Xuereb. Dash has two children a 16-year old and 27-year old from two previous relationships.

Last year, Dash tried to run for the Republican nomination in the California race to unseat Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).

She is the cousin of former media mogul Damon Dash.

Dash became known for her support of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan during their failed 2012 presidential bid. Romney is currently the Republican senator from Utah. Romney is a known carpetbagger and was known as a perennial loser. Ryan was formerly the House Speaker from 2015-19. He is a chairman of Fox Group.

Dash could face up to six months in the county lock up if convicted.
