Apple already has Apple Music and Shazam under its belt and it has partnered with Beats Audio for its digital music catalog.

For nearly 20 years, iTunes was the place where people could buy their albums and favorite singles for a reasonable price.

Bloomberg reports that on Friday, Apple is set to announce the end of its iTunes music store, which transformed the music business.

Apple will create seperate entities that offer music, TV/movies, podcasts and games. The new look will eliminate your library and that collection of music stored.

Monday, Tim Cook will announce the official retirement of iTunes.
