What Happened To Gregory Griffin?

The moment the cop fired into a moving vehicle injuring a passenger and killing a driver.

BE WARNED THE FOOTAGE IS DISTURBING. TAKE DISCRETION IN VIEWING THIS.

Thoughts and prayers, thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers won't heal the wounded or bring back the dead. Moments of silence will not bring back the dead or heal the wounded. Offering sympathy to people who you didn't know or cared about (before they've died) is worthless platitudes.

Hashtag activism does help get the discussion rolling but it doesn't change the status quo. I am sick and tired of these incidents. People of color being killed by gun violence. People of color being killed by cops who claim they "feared for their lives." I am tired of women being told what to do with their bodies. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and police unions are enablers of violence. They have looked the other way or offered phony sympathy to these tragedies.

GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS. JESUS ISN'T HERE TO SAVE THE DEAD OR THE INJURED.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

BAD COPS WILL GET GOOD COPS KILLED.

A man was gunned down by a dirty cop in New Jersey. This cop is facing criminal charges for the shooting. The dirty cop will have the backing of conservative white people, police unions and the Russian-backed Blue Lives Matter movement. Rarely, cops are convicted with shooting unarmed individuals of color.

Earlier this year, the Newark Police were pursuing a fleeing motorist. The motorist was shot and killed when a cop decided to use deadly force to stop him from leaving.

Now the cop is facing state charges for this.

The Essex County Prosecutor's office announced Jovanny Crespo will be indicted on charges that include aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and two each of counts of second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and official misconduct.

The indictment came three months after Crespo was placed in the freezer without pay pending an investigation into his actions being justified.

If convicted, the dirty cop could face LIFE in the iron college. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The incident happened in January where the cop was pursuing a fleeing vehicle that had tint.

"He showed a reckless disregard for human life by shooting into a moving vehicle --- a vehicle which had heavily tinted windows," Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said.

The two men who were in a vehicle were stopped by the law.

Andrew Dixon, 35 and Gregory Griffin, 46 were shot when the dirty cop shot into the vehicle at three angles. Griffin died at the hospital. Dixon suffered shots to his arm and leg. He was soon released.

Prosecutors says that the dirty cop was not the original officer to make the traffic stop in the area. A female officer was involved in the pull over. The female officer saw the firearm and radioed for backup after the vehicle took off. It lead to a pursuit involving numerous police cars.

Crespo fired shots at the fleeing cars at three separate locations, according to prosecutors. The vehicle then stopped in the area not far from where the cop fired.

No police officers were injured. No other cops fired off its weapons.

Prosecutors released body camera of the shooting and dispatch audio.

Newark mayor Ras J. Baraka issued a statement.

"The indictment of Newark Police officer Jovanny Crespo is a sad day for our city and our police department, and the families of the two victims. We are under a consent decree and this shows that when police officers break the law, they will be held to the same standards as all others, particularly at a time when justice in incidents involving the police is not happening around the country."

Baraka also said that the indictment "also shows how important it is that the police are equipped with body cameras and that they use them."

He also noted that transparency is clear. The "evidence of transparency we have worked to establish in Newark and is critical to continuing to build trust between our police and the community."

Remember this.

Conservatives say that there are more Black children living in single parent households without a father. Well that's funny! When the police shoot an unarmed man, that could have been the child's father.
