I'm Not That Guy! You Arresting Me Because I Had Braids?

Texas man was harassed by Harris County sheriff's deputies.
Again in Texas.

A constable for the Harris County Boys tried to arrest a man he mistaken for someone else. It was caught on camera by the wife and it's went viral. The county boy is in the freezer and the man is planning on suing the county boys for the incident.

Clarence Evans and his family uploaded this video of him being wrongfully arrested a week ago.

It shows him and county boy Garrett Lindley in a brief confrontation. Lindley claimed that Evans was some dude named "Quentin" and he had a warrant out of Louisiana for theft.

Clarence Evans, 39, said the ordeal occurred on May 8 in the driveway of his Houston home and in front of his wife, 6-year-old son, and 1-year-old daughter. Evans' wife, Kenya, recorded the confrontation on her cell phone and Evans posted in on Facebook, where, as of Thursday, it had been viewed more than 21,000 times.

The Harris County Constable for Precinct 4, where the deputy works, stood behind the deputy's actions on Thursday and blamed Evans for escalating the situation by not complying with a request to hand over his identification.
Good thing, I'm alive. I was glad he didn't shoot me.
Wrong. While on your own property, you don't have to give any identification to law enforcement.

He said he wasn't the guy. He said he didn't consent to search his property or he refused to identify himself if he wasn't detained.

Evans said he was standing in front of his home, playing with his children, when the county boy, pulled up to this house and initially asked him about his dog.

"At the time, my dog was in the house," Evans said. "I'm breeding my dog so I thought he was stopping to ask about some puppies or something. So, I didn't think nothing of it."

"He told me my dog was stolen," he said. "I told him, 'Well, that can't be possible.'"

The episode quickly escalated, according to Evans, and the deputy began asking him his name and grabbed him by the right arm.

"He grabbed me and told me, 'No, I already know your name ... and you've got a warrant out of Louisiana," Evans said.

He said he immediately sent his son into the house to get his wife, who pulled out her cell phone and started recording.

In the video, the deputy called Evans "Quentin" at one point.

Both Evans and his wife told the officer Evans' name wasn't Quentin and that he's never lived in Louisiana. Evans trolled the Harris County Boys on social media this month.

But the deputy continued to grab Evans arm and attempted to take him into custody.

Eventually, another constable deputy pulled up to Evans' home with his lights and siren on. The second deputy handed his colleague a cell phone.

The deputy then showed a photo on his phone to Evans apparently of the wanted fugitive.

"Here's the deal: Doesn't that look a lot like you?" the deputy asked Evans.

Evans said the man in the photo had dreadlocks similar to his and also a similar complexion. But Evans said that was the extent of what they had in common.

Mark Herman, the Harris County Constable for Precinct 4, released a statement saying Evans did not cooperate with the deputy and made matters worse by not handing over his identification when asked.

"This individual was not profiled," Herman said in his statement. "The deputy was informed that this individual was a wanted fugitive out of another state. The deputy was there on officials police business."

BAD COPS WILL GET GOOD COPS KILLED.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

AGAIN, THAT RUSSIAN-BACKED BLUE LIVES MATTER CROWD WANTS TO JUSTIFY THIS DETAINMENT AS ANOTHER BLACK MAN OVERREACTING AND PLAYING THE "RACE CARD" TO HATE ON COPS. BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT HATING ON COPS. WE JUST NOT GOING TO ALLOW OURSELVES BECOME THE NEXT HASHTAG WHEN WE DIE.

THE MAN REPEATEDLY SAID HE WASN'T THE GUY. THE COPS MADE A BIG MISTAKE.

THEY WANT TO BLAME THE VICTIM.

I AM SICK OF HEARING THIS BULLSHIT.

CONSERVATIVES SAY THAT THERE ARE MORE BLACK CHILDREN LIVING IN SINGLE PARENT HOUSEHOLDS WITHOUT A FATHER.

IT'S FUNNY! WHEN THE POLICE SHOOT AN UNARMED MAN OF COLOR, THAT COULD HAVE BEEN THE CHILD'S FATHER.

WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN AND WOMEN SAFE. WE NEED TO PROTECT OURSELVES FROM THESE RACE SOLDIERS WHO BELIEVE THE BADGE IS THEIR WEAPON OF CHOICE.
