DressBarn Out!

Another women's clothing chain out of business.
So much winning....if you're a CEO or stock trader. You are taking home a golden parachute while the employees are being sent to the unemployment line. The women's fashion retailer Dressbarn announced they're proceeding in a chapter 7 liquidation.

Otherwise the company is going out of business and will close up all of its 700 stores. It will leave another vacant property at your local shopping mall or strip center.

This will put 15,000 employees out of their jobs.

Ascena Retail Group announced the decision on Tuesday citing Amazon, TJX Corporation (TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods) were killing the business.

No shareholders piling on debt and the cost of living was never adjusted for those who want to work for a decent pay.

The company owns the struggling Ann Taylor and Lou & Grey. The company had its spokesman respond to the news.

"This decision was difficult, but necessary, as the Dressbarn chain has been operating at an acceptable level of profitability in today's retail environment," Dressbarn Chief Financial Officer Steven Taylor said.

Another business is closing under Donald J. Trump and Republican control.

2019 is on course of being the year we seen the total destruction of brick and mortar stores in the United States.
