Mind you that many of the LAPD officers had gotten more overtime to cover the funeral.
Well caught on tape were some of the cops berating the slain rapper, his own mother, his father and girlfriend in derogatory terms.
Compton's own The Game has shared the audio on social media and it became viral.
There are many rude and crass comments being made including an alleged officer stating that the slain rapper’s mother “looks like a man and his father looks like a female, go figure.”
Another officer is heard saying, "What they should've done after the funeral is drove the motherfucker and put him in the ground before he starts stinking up the place."
The Los Angeles Police Department denies their officers said that on audio.
However, they are launching an investigation into the matter.
Last week, many celebrities came to Los Angeles for the viewing and funeral of Nipsey Hussle.
There was a mass shooting during the funeral. CBS News reports a shooting during the funeral cost a man his life. One person died and four others were shot in Los Angeles near the funeral procession route for late rapper Nipsey Hussle. Police said, however, there was no indication the Thursday night shooting was connected to the procession.
Gunfire broke out around 6:25 p.m., just a few blocks away from a section of the 25-mile procession route, police said. The procession drew large crowds of people who lingered well into the night. The Los Angeles Times reported that the shooting occurred in the Watts neighborhood after the procession passed through the area.
The victims were three black males and one black female, whose ages ranged from 30-50 years old, Chief Michel Moore tweeted Thursday evening. "We must stop this senseless violence," he said.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
