Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) are once again targeted by the far-white for being the first two Muslim women to serve the House of Representatives.
Last month Republicans and Democrats were upset that Omar was criticizing the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) for funding lawmakers in their policy decisions.
Omar a strong supporter of the Boycott Deinvestment and Sanctions movment said that the Israeli government and American lawmakers paint critics as anti-Semitic.
Omar also was on a hit list. She was one of the many targets of this white terrorist who was once a U.S. Coast Guard.
An anti-Muslim poster likening Omar to the 9/11 terrorist attack sparked outrage this weekend. This occurred at the West Virginia state capitol and it was sponsored by the state's Republican Party.
The city of Charleston, West Virginia. Charleston is the largest city in the state. It has 89,000 residents. The state of West Virginia has 93% white population.
The poster depicted the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 and the words "Never Forget - you said..." imposed over the image of the burning buildings. Underneath is a picture of the lawmaker with the words - "I am the proof - you have forgotten."
The poster was displayed prominently in the rotunda as as part of an event the Republicans held.
Pamphlets accompanying the display read "The Four Stages of Islamic Conquest" and "Readin, Writin' and Jihadin."
The Council on American-Islamic Relations and many Democratic lawmakers (minus Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY)) condemned the event.
The Republican Party who were raising such a fuss over Tlaib calling Trump a "motherfucker" and Omar for criticizing Netanyahu and AIPAC have not said a word about this.
Omar has.
No wonder why I am on the “Hitlist” of a domestic terrorist and “Assassinate Ilhan Omar” is written on my local gas stations.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 1, 2019
Look no further, the GOP's anti-Muslim display likening me to a terrorist rocks in state capitols and no one is condemning them! https://t.co/0ouCaloWqh

Being opposed to Netanyahu and the occupation is not the same as being anti-Semitic. I am grateful to the many Jewish allies who have spoken out and said the same.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 3, 2019
We must be willing to combat hate of all kinds while also calling out oppression of all kinds. I will do my best to live up to that. I hope my colleagues will join me in doing the same.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 3, 2019
My Americanness is questioned by the President and the @GOP on a daily basis, yet my colleagues remain silent. I know what it means to be American and no one will ever tell me otherwise.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 3, 2019
I am told everyday that I am anti-American if I am not pro-Israel. I find that to be problematic and I am not alone. I just happen to be willing to speak up on it and open myself to attacks.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 3, 2019
Our democracy is built on debate, Congresswoman! I should not be expected to have allegiance/pledge support to a foreign country in order to serve my country in Congress or serve on committee. The people of the 5th elected me to serve their interest. I am sure we agree on that! https://t.co/gglAS4FVJW— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 3, 2019
.@IlhanMN is a Member of Congress elected by the people of Minnesota. GOP leadership should immediately apologize for the outrageous racist attack on her that equates her with 9/11 terrorists. That is shameful. The picture below is the one Americans should know. pic.twitter.com/W6eSzMngVG— Rep. Pramila Jayapal (@RepJayapal) March 3, 2019
This is the image of @IlhanMN that the world should be seeing, not the hateful, anti-Muslim propaganda targeting her. We must condemn these attacks and reject religious bigotry without exception. pic.twitter.com/upzgl6bCLq— Katherine Clark (@RepKClark) March 3, 2019
The inhumane racism and death threats thrown at my friend Rep. @Ilhan are acts of terrorism. Period. We will overcome these threats to our humanity just like we've done time & time again. We are resilient. Ilhan - we got your back. https://t.co/IVOeFATIdw— Rep Ayanna Pressley (@RepPressley) March 3, 2019
Conservatives lost it when one member in a body of 435 used a profane word.— Hakeem Jeffries (@RepJeffries) March 3, 2019
So-called leader of the free world calls Russia investigation “bullsh*t” before the nation.
Were these phonies outraged?
Of course not.
Don’t ever lecture House Dems about anything.
No one is holding Republicans accountable to any standard on the disgusting anti-Muslim bigotry they have harbored in their party for over a decade.— Justice Democrats (@justicedems) March 3, 2019
It’s clear there is a double standard for @ilhanmn and we should be asking why. https://t.co/wqYDp0PaIE
A core promise of America is the vigilant protection of free speech and the security of those who engage in it. While I strongly object to some of Rep. @ilhan Omar’s recent comments, the disgusting display in the WV Capitol and threats on her life are antithetical to our values. pic.twitter.com/R8qE6UbpDE— Rep. Dean Phillips (@RepDeanPhillips) March 2, 2019
We must stand united to condemn religious bigotry. The anti-Muslim bigotry and hate expressed towards Rep. Ilhan Omar comparing her to 9/11 terrorists is reprehensible. https://t.co/qTHIo73o35— Tulsi Gabbard (@TulsiGabbard) March 3, 2019
The use of disgusting, outrageous, and offensive stereotypes must be condemned across the board - whether Islamophobic or anti-Semitic. https://t.co/SDwMq64tfC— Rep. Ted Deutch (@RepTedDeutch) March 2, 2019
I’m pretty heartbroken that there isn’t more denunciation of this outward and blatant expression of bigotry and Islamophobia by a state party.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) March 3, 2019
IMO those who stood up against anti-Semitism a few weeks ago should also be calling out the Islamophobia here, too. https://t.co/LOealpLAKy
This week @WVGOP called Rep @IlhanMN a terrorist & ignited a spike in death threats against her— Qasim Rashid, Esq. (@MuslimIQ) March 3, 2019
Rather than condemn such bigotry & violence & apologize for the things they openly said—the Right has instead found new ways to attack her for things she never said
Utter hypocrisy😑
This crazy bitch named Brigitte Gabriel (born Hanan Qahwaji) also has stirred the pot as well.
Ilhan Omar is a danger to our nation's national security:— Brigitte Gabriel (@ACTBrigitte) February 12, 2019
1.She married her brother to commit immigration fraud
2. She has allegiance/ties to terrorist groups that have declared war on the United States
3. She has clearly proven to be a raging anti-Semite
Shall I keep going?
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ACT for America Responds to Controversy in West Virginia State Capitol pic.twitter.com/VGPBTrXRgJ— ACT for America (@ACTforAmerica) March 2, 2019
Ilhan Omar has NO BUSINESS on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.— Brigitte Gabriel (@ACTBrigitte) March 1, 2019
Tell Congress to hold her accountable here 👉 https://t.co/luWbKnsEYt https://t.co/5Fdi5kZnmF
We can only hope Twitter and Facebook put an end to Gabriel's hateful agenda. They need to shut this shit down.
Again, Democrats are not going to win. They are still embolden to the "status quo" of politics.
The Justice Democrats are targeting some of the Democrats who are considered to cozy with Republicans.
If the Democrats continue to criticize Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Lucy McBath, Rashida Tlaib and Antonio Delgado, they will only make progressives sit out 2020.
The Republicans will play upon the culture war to win this election. Trump's CPAC speech has already signaled this as a key to their victory. Keep the far-white riled up all the way to November 2020.
Notice no responses from Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY). They too busy being racist assholes to notice the West Virginia Republicans running that ridiculous bullshit.
