Bon Ton Is Out!

While some blame the rise of Amazon for the fall of many retailers. Many others blame bad leadership.

The brick-and-mortar stores are going out of business. It's only a matter of time before one third of America's malls go out of business.

Another major retailer is going out of business soon. The Bon Ton Group which owns a handful of department stores will begin liquidation proceedings. The Chapter 7 liquidation of the Bon Ton Group will put 24,000 workers out of a job.

This will impact malls that depended on that anchor store.

All stores associated with Bon Ton will immediately close within 12 weeks.

Younkers, Elder Beerman, Carson's, Bergner's, Herbeger's, Boston Store and Bon Ton stand alone stores will leave the Midwest and Northeast.

This will have a huge impact on the Dayton area. There are 10 stores in the region.

Employees who work at the stores in Huber Heights, Beavercreek, Kettering, Piqua in Ohio and Richmond, Indiana will be affected.

Make America Great Again.
