Beto O'Rourke: Ted Cruz, Don't Expect An Easy Ride!

Beto O'Rourke vows to visit each county of Texas in his bid to win the U.S. senator Ted Cruz's seat.
Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) has a challenge ahead of him. How can he beat a Republican in the state of Texas?

The El Paso lawmaker is hoping Texans would oust the controversial Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

So far, I believe that Texas is considered SAFE for the Republicans. However, the fundraising for the Democrat is high and it's outpaced Cruz who is hoping that he can win a second term.

Democrats have an early advantage in early voting this primary session and it has spooked Republicans.

With issues like gun violence on the front lines, Cruz and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) both expressed "thoughts and prayers" to the victims of Parkland, Florida, Sutherland Springs, Las Vegas, and every other mass shooting since. They continue have offered nothing but more loose gun laws and taken millions from the NRA.
A challenge ahead for Ted Cruz.
O'Rouke had made it clear that he wants no lobbyist money or campaign funds from shadowy groups. He also is encouraging that voters request paper ballots and easy access to the polls.

Cruz who became a darling of the Tea Party movement in 2012 won the election. Since he became a senator, he spent most of his time grandstanding and also getting on Barack Obama's nerves. He was a big feature on Fox News and even tried and failed running for president.

He was the first Republican in the 21st Century to have picked a running mate while running for the nomination. He picked failed candidate Carly Fiorina as his running mate and their bid as a team lasted only seven days.

He truly is an embarrassment to the state of Texas. If Beto can turn this into a race, I'll be willing to change my prediction.
