On GOP Sundays, many Republicans and Donald J. Trump officials go on to talk about the latest issues facing this country. The devastating hurricane that damage most of the US territory of Puerto Rico and the tax reform plan that Trump is trying to unravel are the topics mentioned on GOP Sundays.

The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is an unincorporated US territory with a population of 4.3 million residents. About 90% of the territory speak Spanish.

The US Virgin Islands is an unincorporated US Territory located 200 miles from Puerto Rico. The territory has 104,000 residents. About 65% of the country speaks English. About 20% speak Spanish and the remainder speak Creole.

The governor of Puerto Rico is Ricardo Rossello. The current lawmaker and resident commissioner of the territory is Rep. Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR).
The destruction of Hurricane Maria has totally impacted Puerto Rico. Hurricane Irma destroyed the US Virgin Islands.
The governor of the US Virgin Islands is Kenneth Mapp. The current lawmaker and delegate from the territory is Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI).

They are voicing frustration with the lack of government help for the island territories.

The mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico was on most of the GOP Sunday programming. She explains to the junk food media that her city is in need of federal help. The commentators were baiting her into talking about Trump's latest attack of her on social media.

Carmen Yulin Cruz has become one of America's most vocal politicians. Even though she's not even on the the mainland, she is becoming one of the left's most prominent voices. As mayor of San Juan, she has to protect her 395,000 residents from the devastation that Hurricane Maria left.

Many people are frustrated with the lack of response from the federal government. Some are comparing this to Hurricane Katrina.
