Serena Williams: Some Greats Aren't!

Serena Williams keeps it classy when it comes to a former tennis star's racist remark about her pregnancy.

Serena Williams announced on social media that she is pregnant with her first child. Williams and her fiance Alexis Ohanian were caught off guard by former tennis star Ilie Nastase.

The comments were deemed offensive. And Williams wasn't going to allow this shit to go down without a response.

Nastase would make a snarky comment about the pregnancy. He said that their child is "chocolate with the milk."

"It disappoints me to know we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments," said Williams in her statement released on social media. "I have said it once and I'll say it again, this world has come so far but yet e have so much further to go. Yes, we have broken down so many barriers --- however there are a plethora more to go. This or anything else will not stop me from pouring love, light and positively into everything that I do. I will continue to take a lead and stand up for what's right."

Old fart snarked about Serena Williams' baby.

The tennis star will give birth to her child in the fall.

The BBC reports that the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has launched an investigation into the comments made by 70-year old Nastase, Romania's Fed Cup captain, at a news conference before their tie with Great Britain in Constanta last week.

"I humbly thank the ITF for any consideration given to all the facts in this case. They have my full support," said Williams.
