Talk Radio Is Dying: Thank Rush Limbaugh And Sean Hannity For Its Eventual Demise!

He realizes that he is an old fart.

I've been a frequent listener to talk radio. I often hear the overreaction to the world's event through the country's most controversial agitators. The right and the left have their share of outrage towards lawmakers and leaders. They make $$$$ off profit rage. It's assured that they'll continue on for the time being.

But as they do, will you eventually start tuning them out?

I am seriously considering that. Like with social media, it's too polarizing. I don't want to be mad at the world because I don't agree with their views. But there are a handful of Americans so invested in voicing their concerns on talk radio. My god, it's like listening to a garbage disposal breaking down.

Two notorious agitators are seeing their stock lower this year. And I am guessing Republicans are still putting their fate in their hands instead of looking elsewhere.

Republicans can't win using Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, The Drudge Report, and Fox News. If you ask me, I believe they were the reasons to why Barack Obama won his elections.
If the Republicans use this annoying conservative agitator as a source, they might lose.
My prediction about Sean Hannity's future reign on Fox News is simple. It's going to be few more years. The time will come when the cannon is fired and he's in it. I give him three more years before the cannon fires him out. And when it he lands, he'll either be on The Blaze, Newsmax or a network that he has trashed on his right wing carnival.

Sad reality. Like the music industry it's effects everything. Talk radio is on the decline. Thanks to agitators such as that old fart Rush Limbaugh, everyone has taken a nosedive.

People are still listening but it's not a profitable market because advertisers believe that talk radio agitators are too extreme.

iHeart Media, Cox Media and Cumulus are media titians.  They control most of the radio stations and offer the stations Rush and Sean's right wing shows to the AM and FM dial. Because they generate millions of listeners, most would expect them to be profitable wherever they go. These two are the top talkers in the country.

To sum it up, they are the most controversial. Because of their acid tongues, some businesses have already told radio stations not to air commercials around their shows. It also affects the second stringers and liberal agitators as well.

On most radio stations you hear may hear PSA ads. That's the new norm now that major companies such as GM, McDonald's, AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner Cable, Comcast and People Magazine severed ties with talk radio.

This is the effect of that boycott against that old fart. The old fart went off on Sandra Fluke in 2012 and started a media discussion about the negative effects of the freedom of speech. Limbaugh may have self-inflicted himself in this situation.
Glenn Beck is aware of talk radio's demise. To prevent him from fading out of the limelight, he created The Blaze. The Blaze is competing with Newsmax and conservative titian Fox News. He also created a television and radio network that offers unabashed opinions from conservative and libertarian agitators.
Even liberal agitators find it even harder to move into territory. Stephanie Miller's home station was progressive. Miller was dropped from her station for Limbaugh.

Limbaugh lost most of top billing syndicators in major markets. Now he's on second stringer radio stations. The second stringer stations that carried Miller, Alan Colmes and Thom Hartmann are now for Limbaugh, Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage and Mark Levin.

The money demo is age 25 - 54. Talk radio seen an epic nosedive in the money demo. Even Limbaugh acknowledged the slide.

It's a damn shame that in the wake of numerous controversies in the age of Barack Obama, these agitators have profited well. But the effects they've created has everyone turned off to politics.

Talk radio is the White man's soapbox. They like to hear one of their own bitch about politics political correctness and policies. We can't convince a listener of talk radio to hear the other side.

It's already a lost.

It doesn't matter who becomes the next president. The environment is so toxic, it's expected that the next president will face strong opposition. It's expected that agitators will waste no time attacking the character of the president. They will create decades of polarization and the lack of compromise.

It will eventually doom any opportunities to get things done.

Expect the Democrats to get revenge on Republicans. If a Republican nominee becomes the president, the Democrats will waste no time trying to destroy him. They will be even more worse than that old fart saying "I hope he fails."
