Young Thug: Thugger F. Stunna Conquers Weezy F. Baby!

The feud between Lil' Wayne and Birdman drags Young Thug into it.

Atlanta rapper Young Thug is feuding with Lil' Wayne. The rapper was brought into this feud because of Weezy's frustration with his former mentor Birdman.

Also the rapper used Tha Carter for his album title.  It comes at a time when Weezy F. Baby is fighting Cash Money Records over the scrapping of Tha Carter V.

Young Thug releases his mixtape/album Barter 6 (formerly The Carter 6). The album features Birdman, T.I., Boosie Badazz and Young Dolph. The album was marred with controversy because many of the fans feel that it was"disrespect" to Lil' Wayne.

Thugger was going to be sued by Lil' Wayne's lawyers for copyright infringement.

The album was initially reported to be entitled Carter 6, a continuation of Lil Wayne's successful Tha Carter album series which had also been released by Cash Money Records.

This created controversy, as Wayne's scheduled album Tha Carter V had been repeatedly delayed amid a dispute between himself and Cash Money, who had reportedly refused to release the album.

Wayne subsequently became involved in legal proceedings against Cash Money and publicly criticized the label's owner (and Thug's mentor) Birdman, as well as responding negatively to Thug's decision to name the album after him.

Despite this, Thug claimed that he was not trying to be disrespectful, and that Wayne was his 'idol'.

Following a threat of legal action, Thug announced days prior to the release that the album was to be renamed it Barter 6, in line with the typical Blood gang practice of replacing the letter "C" with "B".

Lil' Wayne also aimed at the rapper for going full birthday suit. The album cover has Thug in the semi nude.

A week ago, Weezy told his Mississippi fans, "Y’all let him know I said, 'Fuck ‘em,'"

Of course, Thugger fired a shot at Wayne. And to make it even interesting he fired shots at rhyming partner Rich Homie Quan after allegations of the rapper having a fling with Thugger's woman.

"Pussy boy I'll leave you dead and call it Dedication," Thugger raps.  While he's insisted many times that he once idolizes Lil' Wayne, some could interpret that line as a diss towards his idol, given that Wayne released a Dedication series of mixtapes.

T.I. is also on "Can't Tell." Yesterday (April 15), T.I. took the Atlanta, Georgia rapper's words as sincere when he addressed the purported rivalry he was having with Lil Wayne.  "'Everybody's making it a whole lot more,'" T.I. said Young Thug told him. "'I'm doing it to pay homage. That's my favorite rapper.'"

HipHopDx.com reports that Barter 6 has been heavily publicized due in part to the emcee's statements. The rapper called his "Mamacita" collaborators — as well as his new boss, Birdman — his "lovers." Then there is his referring to Rich Homie Quan as "Bitch Homie Quan," as well as his Jay Z diss in a GQ interview.

The rise of Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan got the O.G.s of hip-hop worried.

You wondering why Wayne aimed at Thug and Quan?

Lil' Wayne's I Am Not A Human Being 2 went Gold. Tha Carter IV was 2x Platinum. DatPiff has charted millions of downloads for almost every official mixtape Wayne puts out.

Weezy is doing just fine. But the feud with his longtime label is newsworthy. Wayne is the last original member of the label. He, Juvie (aka Juvenile), The B.G., Young Turk were the Hot Boys.

Birdman and then in house producer Mannie Fresh were The Big Tymers.

Cash Money Records came to fame in the late 1990s with hit singles Back That Azz Up, Bling Bling, I Need A Hot Girl and #1 Stunna.

Young Thug was once affiliated with Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad Records.

He is managed by Rich Gang Music, Birdman's upstart music label.
