The Grim Ripper Marked Detroit!

Renisha McBride of Dearborn Heights was shot and killed while approaching a porch. She was looking for help. This adds to the three men who lost their lives in a mass shooting at a Detroit barber shop.

America's most roughest city had a series of mass shootings this week.

Me and S. Baldwin will cover them.

Now of course, this is Black on Black crime. A common topic among the racist right. It's in the rust belt city of Detroit, Michigan. Of course, conservatives hate the city. They believe its the fault of the Democratic Party for the city losing over 33% of its population. They automatically blame President Barack Obama for the problems in Detroit. The city demographics show that over 80% of its residents are Black and the city median income is $45,000 at base level. The city's population is at 703,000 at present time.

Detroit is marked as the nation's most dangerous city. It beats St. Louis, Oakland, New Orleans and Cleveland, Ohio.

These gun shootings in Detroit managed to agitate the racist right and of course stirs thoughts of the perpetrators of these incidents being "OBAMA'S SONS".

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences Renisha McBride, Bryan Williams, Joezell Williams, and Kevin Perryman who lost their lives in these senseless tragedies.

There was a shooting on Seven Mile in a barbershop that some labeled as a front for illegal activity.

At Al's Cuts, a brawl happened in the back of the barbershop after words were exchanged after a craps game. One managed to pull the trigger setting off a chain of events that led to some being filled literally with lead.

As many as 30 people were in the area and at best ten were shot. Three were killed.

Bullets in the backdoor of the barbershop. Three people died from a shooting after a brawl during  illegal gambling event.
Reuters report that some of the men inside the room were armed and at least one fired back in a crime that stood out for its violence even at a time when the city, which filed for bankruptcy in July, is facing its highest murder rate in decades.

Police have detained one man who they said was wearing body armor and was involved in a feud with several members of the gambling party. He is being held on an unrelated felony assault charge and will be questioned by homicide detectives.

A witness in a pickup truck pulled up to the back of the barbershop and was fired upon by a gunman in another vehicle.

When the truck fled, the gunman got out of the vehicle and used a high-powered rifle [likely an AR 15] to shoot through an open door to a small room in the back of the barbershop.

Bryan Williams, 29, Joezell Williams, 61, and Kevin Perryman, 40 were the victims of the gun shooting.

Detroit Police have a man in custody. They haven't released his name but he's 31 years old and has a strong connection to the events that happened.

Earlier, a woman from Dearborn Heights was shot by someone after she was asking for help.

Renisha McBride was only 19 years old and was asking neighbors for help in the wake of a car accident.

Who would of thought that her goodwill and pleas would be met with a bullet in her head?

CBS News reports that McBride's cell phone was damaged. There wasn't a phone within the area, so she heads to the door of the man who shot her. Somehow he shot the woman in the back of her head.

He had no remorse other than he claimed it was "self-defense".

Renisha McBride was killed by a shotgun blast.

Family members say that McBride had gone to the home after her cell phone died following a car accident. They say McBride was shot in the back of the head when she turned to leave.

"He shot her in the head ... for what? For knocking on his door," McBride's aunt Bernita Spinks told the Detroit News. "If he felt scared or threatened, he should have called 911."

Tragedy in Detroit.
"You see a young black lady on your porch and you shoot?" Spinks said. "There was no window broken. My niece didn't bother anyone. She went looking for help and now she's dead."

Police say they've identified the person who shot her and requested a warrant in the case. The Wayne County prosecutor's office says it sent the request back to police Wednesday for additional investigation before making a charging decision.

What do you think of these situations?

Do you believe it was reckless behavior created by the owner of the barbershop to allow illegal activity to happen around his business?

Do you believe that the owner of the house had a right to shot an unarmed individual who pounds on the door in the early morning?

What could be done to curb gun violence in America?

What could the residents of Detroit do to improve the image of this great city?
