President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden watching the operation.
In May 2011, President Barack Obama authorized the military special operations unit to go into Abbottabad, Pakistan to track down al-Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden.
A risky and yet gutsy decision by the president to send a covert team of military officers into a country with a mere few hours to carry out the task.
I mean this was a huge story. Very much for every network to interrupt the season finales of many television programs. President Barack Obama announced on national television the mission's success:
Good evening. Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the
world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed
Osama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, and a terrorist who was
responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and
children...
Yet the Republicans were willing to credit President George W. Bush for carrying out the mission.
The Republicans ran on this "strong on national security" theme for years. They've painted President Barack Obama as an ineffective leader who wouldn't know how to defend the United States.
Now it's one year later, and the very same "strong on national security" themed Republicans are upset that President Barack Obama played his card. They can't deny that he carried it out. But they sure don't want to hear anything about it.
The Republican candidate for president, Mitt Romney was asked about this and yes he invoked President Jimmy Carter. This is what Mitt Romney does. He will say anything to win an election.
Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, the controversial agitators and their take on Osama bin Laden. Yet these two chickenhawks are willing to make the case that torture works. Neither conservative participated in the waterboarding demonstration. Sean Hannity wanted to donated to charity! He hasn't done it yet!
Conservatives are really upset that President Barack Obama played his "victory" in this 2012 U.S. Presidential Election. A historic event now becomes a political issue. Conservatives rather credit the U.S. Navy Seals for the actions but yet ignore the Commander-and-Chief.
The Republicans who once said that Barack Obama is naive on foreign policy and the "War on Terrorism" are now crowing about how he is throwing this event in their faces. They argue that if it wasn't for the torture and detainment of members of al-Qaeda, the information to get Osama bin Laden would never happen. If they couldn't get the information from these members through torture what makes them think that it worked?
What took over 10 years, was accomplished. President Barack Obama never ignored the threat of terrorism. It took nearly 2.5 years to find Osama bin Laden. Yes, he deserves all the credit. They can't deny this. President Barack Obama credited those in the CIA, U.S. military and former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton for their efforts. The conservatives continue to ignore that. And they're spinning like tops in the filthy cesspool of ignorance.
He managed to out maneuver the Republicans and they're now upset that he's done it.
How low will these bitter people go?
They played every card in the book. The race card. The fear card. The liberal media lie. The Republicans have been labeled the "Party of No".
They've been painted as extremists.
They are so fixated on finding faults with President Barack Obama. They have allies devoted to promoting conspiracies that drive wedges between fellow Americans.
Yet, the cool and calm President Barack Obama continues ignores the chatter of his foes and waits patiently for the next move. The president cautions that his political foes are willing to do anything. His campaign will take nothing for granted.
Let me tell you this! I rather have a cool president in Barack Obama than a boring, bitter, and downright inconsistent politician in Mitt Romney.
And yes, a cool president than a geezer who spouts conspiracy theories in Congressman Ron Paul of Texas.
And for the former presidential contenders in Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, Governor Rick Perry of Texas, Herman Cain, Tim Pawlenty, Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich, Gary Johnson, Rick Santorum, and Congressman Thad McCotter of Michigan.
It wasn't your time, and it's never going to be your time. Let your journey as a presidential candidate be a notch on your belt. You guys weren't ready for the job.

Yeah, it was bound to happen! Republicans and its allies in the conservative movement found a way to make the case for President Barack Obama using the "race card" in regards to the latest incidents that involved racial intolerance.
When was the last time President Barack Obama said something in regards to racial issues?
To a conservative, everyday. To the rest of America, not often! Not at all.
The recent incidents in Chicago in which a young Black man accompanied with a juvenile beaten up and robbed a young White man. The incident in Mobile, Alabama in which a White man threatened a group of Black teenagers. That incident turned violent when the teenagers called their parents, and soon they've beaten the White man nearly to death. The incident in Tulsa, Oklahoma in which a two men, one being a in grief over the loss of his girlfriend and father, went into a neighborhood where Blacks lived and shot them randomly. The incident killed three innocent citizens. And the most famous incident, a young man shooting an unarmed Black teenager. These incidents are simmering up the "long hot summer"!
This is an election year, and Republicans are going to play dirty! They've found their nominee. The nominee and his advisers will waste no time trying to go after President Barack Obama's record for the sluggish economy. The nominee's advisers will use every tactic to distract, deviate and dog-whistle White voters to oppose President Barack Obama.
The Republican nominee will try to paint himself as the "grown up in the room". He will paint his background as a tale of his experiences and try to make the case that President Obama is inexperienced, out of touch, and he's gotta go!
The Republican nominee will waste no time trying to cater to the extremists within in his political party. This happen when John McCain secured his nomination, and picked Sarah Palin as his running mate.
Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney will be the presidential nominee for the Republican Party.
Mitt
Romney served one term as governor of the state of Massachusetts. And
during his time as governor, he allocated a pretty much moderate record
on most issues. As he prepares for the eventual capture of delegates to
cling the Republican nomination, he's preparing for a nasty campaign
against President Barack Obama.
This will be a dueling challenge to inspire those who turnout in droves to vote for Barack Obama. It's not going to be an easy challenge this time. During the 2010 United States midterm elections, Republicans swept back into the House of Representatives and state/territorial governorships. The Republican goal: undermine the core of Obama's base. They are willing to make this case by attacking President Barack Obama on issues such as his "coolness".
If one can't understand the right's Obama Derangement Syndrome, then you're lost in the transition.
If a person holds views that are bigoted towards race, gender,
sexuality, religion, nationality, political and economic standings, then this person is either criticized as an extremist. This contributes to the reactionary, racist, sexist,
homophobic, Islamophoic, ignorant, condescending, overreaching, idiotic,
pain inducing rants one says online or in the public forum.
Race-baiting is tool used when a
conservative is upset over an incident when a Black person is killed by a
white person. Race baiting is when a conservative sends a racist email
attacking President Barack Obama and his wife First Lady Michelle Obama
and the person who sent it was caught. Conservatives blame President
Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Attorney General Eric
Holder (all prominent Black men) for incidents that they can't control.
Or blaming them for seeing justice for incidents that are looked under
the radar.
Playing the victim card or the race card is usually a
strategy when a conservative's rant goes to the extreme. Thus leading
to tragedies in schools, public venues or attempts at harming innocent
victims.
And just like every [White and even Black] conservative man! When there's an
incident that involves a White person, they're screaming: "See. This is
what the liberal media isn't telling you! They talk about Trayvon
Martin but void the fact these 'Obama supporters' are violent towards
white citizens and Eric Holder isn't concerned about us but his 'brothas'!"
I
urge you conservatives to put away your hate, ignorance and stupidity.
Cause you may feel comfortable in the presence of a home computer, but
you realize that if you want to rile up people with this, try harder!
Take it to the streets.
Go to the cities and their
neighborhoods you claim are crime ridden Democratic strongholds. Go into
these neighborhoods with your tea party rhetoric, Obama Derangement
syndrome-themed rants and see if someone will notice!
They'll
probably call the police on you! Hopefully [urban dwellers] avoid
whooping a conservative's ass for the ranting and raving!
You notice a pattern.
The Republicans know they're not going to secure the Black vote. They are giving up on it. What they're going to is work hard to bring Hispanics/Latinos and mostly White voters to the Republican Party.
So in order to do that! The Republicans and its allies in the conservative movement want to create controversies in which racial injustice towards White people is unnoticed by the media and in turn it riles up votes.
The strategy works. It's noted as the "Southern Strategy".
A Georgia family was confronted by two neighbors who carried semi-automatic firearms. The neighbors thought the family was trespassing called the police and had this family arrested. After a clarification, the neighbors are now under arrest facing serious charges. Guess it's necessary to carry firearms if you're in a neighborhood watch. It's getting worse, and yes it's in the South.

An interracial couple Jean and Angelica Kalonji purchases a home. Their son's realtor urged them to change their locks. As they were attempting to enter the home, the neighbors Robert and his son Branden Canoles stormed the home with firearms drawn.
This story comes from the Inquisitr and WSBTV Atlanta.
A black man and his family were held at gunpoint by their new neighbors
while they were trying to change the locks in Newton, GA reported WSBTV.
The Kalonji Family had just closed the purchase on a foreclosed home
and were excited to begin the moving process. The realtor advised the
family to begin by changing the locks on their new home.
Jean Kalonji was in the process of changing the locks on the front
door when their new neighbors mistook the Kalonji’s for thieves breaking
into the house and confronted them with guns.
“He say to put the hands up and get out from the house otherwise he would shoot us,” recounted Jean about the incident.
Angelica Kalonji, Jean’s wife stated:
“I get up my hands up, they put me by the wall.”
The neighbors held the Kalonji’s at gunpoint and called the local
authorities not believing they were the owners of the house. When
authorities arrived they arrested the family who did not have the
closing paper work with them at the time, charging them with loitering
and prowling.
The realtor, Yvette Harris, said the deputies had no right to arrest the couple, stating:
According to Newton County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Mitchell authorities are investigating why everything that happened.
“We’re kind of on the ground floor to this as far as looking into it exactly what occurred, why it occurred.”
The experience brought back painful memories to Jean who was raised in the Congo.
“There, they put me down with the gun to my head. Here, the same.”
Neighborhood watchmen charged in arrest mix-up By Jeff Dore

NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. —
Charges
have been dropped against a couple who got tossed in jail after
visiting their son's new house, but not before they faced gun-wielding
neighbors. Now, the neighbors are the ones behind bars.
Jean and
Angelica Kalonji's son closed on a Newton County home Thursday and, on
the agent's advice, they went over to change the locks.
Neighbors then showed up with guns drawn.
"(I was) told to put my hands up and to get out, otherwise he shot us,” Jean Kalonji said.
The
Kalonjis said they were so glad when Newton County sheriff's deputies
arrived to straighten things out, but the deputies took them to jail and
charged them with loitering and prowling.
"For me to get out, we had to pay bond," Kalonji said.
Channel
2’s Jeff Dore talked with a spokesman for the Newton County sheriff,
who said they have now dropped charges. The father-son pair of
neighborhood watchmen in the confrontation turned themselves in to the
Sheriff's Office Monday evening. Robert, 45, and Branden Canoles, 18,
were charged with false imprisonment, aggravated assault and criminal
trespass.
As for the deputies who arrested innocent new residents, they were not on administrative leave at this time.
“They
just spontaneously arrested him, arrested his wife, threw them in jail,
made no phone calls, made no effort to verify the truthfulness of what
they were saying and told the people with the guns in essence, ‘Thank
you for your good service,’” Kalonji family attorney Don Samuel said.
The deputies are facing an internal investigation within the Newton County Sheriff's Department.
"The
case is still fluid. We're still investigating the case. And also our
Office of Professional Standards, there's an internal investigation as
well," Lt. Mark Mitchell of the Newton County Sheriff's Department said.
Matthew Owens was allegedly beaten by a vicious mob, after
which someone uttered the words, "Now that's justice for Trayvon."
I'm not one to judge this incident as a hate crime. I seen the website where this man was featured. There's a charge of domestic violence on this person a year ago. That doesn't matter though! But what matters is those who attack this man should be arrested. What matters is the ongoing conflict that circulates around the Trayvon Martin shooting. What matters is the conservatives trying to crank up fake outrage to an incident.
One could wonder if the gentleman Matt Owens said something offensive provoking an attack!
Right now, the conservatives are riled up about this! They're online foaming at the mouths screaming about how President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are ignoring this possible "hate crime".
I can see that every conservative word salad will always include: A racial slur. Ways to say a racial slur without it being flagged. Obama-related themes. Mentions of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the SPLC or the NAACP. Trayvon Martin. Firearm rhetoric. Political hot potatoes. MSNBC. CNN. Chants of liberal media.
The Blaze, The Daily Caller, Michelle Malkin, The Drudge Report, Twitchy, and The Gateway Pundit are already circling the wagons with this story.
While a news reporter was getting ready for her report, an angry parent goes towards the cameras. The Black woman demands the reporter tell the truth about this gentleman and acknowledge that he provoked the incident by threatening them with knives and shouting racial slurs at the teenagers.
First things first. We are a polarizing nation. This Trayvon Martin controversy has a major split between race, gender, and political standings. Those who view this case in favor of Trayvon Martin felt this teenager was wrongfully targeted and killed for what was perceived to be a racially profiling incident. Those who view this in favor of Trayvon Martin, feels that systematic incidents in which Blacks are killed by an offender that is non-black are given leniency while those who are Black face harsher penalties for the very crimes committed. Those who view this case in favor of George Zimmerman felt the young man was wrongfully accused by the media for defending himself from a teenager who was roaming the neighborhood without mentioning he lives there. Those who view this in favor of George Zimmerman felt that even though this tragedy could have been avoided, Zimmerman had no choice but to shoot the the teenager because he felt his life was in danger.
Remember the Chris Rock rule: "There's some [Blacks] who push forward. There's some [Blacks] who send us back!"
Today's actions sets us back! In no way, Americans should act like this. No matter what the outcome, we all as Americans must practice peace and restraint. Being violent isn't going to solve problems. It's only going to kill someone and land those who committed the act in prison.
Why on earth would his brother go to a conservative radio show to rant off about an apparent utter of slain teenager "Trayvon Martin" by an assailant?
Just like every [White and even Black] conservative man! When there's an incident that involves a White person, they're screaming: "See. This is what the liberal media isn't telling you! They talk about Trayvon Martin but void the fact these 'Obama supporters' are violent towards white citizens and Eric Holder isn't concerned about us but his 'borthas'!"

MOBILE, Alabama -- Wednesday 12:45 a.m.Mobile police did not
make an arrest before the end of the day as they expected. But police
are in the process of serving warrants.
Neighbors say Matthew
Owens chased off a group of black kids with kitchen knives after the
boys lost a basketball in his sister's yard. He was attacked by as many
as 20 people with chairs, pipes and paint cans a short time later.
Based
on the accusations forom angry neighbors, News 5 did some digging and
learned Owens has a violent track record. The Mobile County Metro Jail
log shows police have arrested Owens numerous times over the past 12
years for things like domestic violence, assault and sex abuse. His
first arrest was November 4, 1990 for assault. The last time officers
transported Owens to jail was last March on a domestic violence charge.
Regardless
of what happened Saturday night leading up to the beating, police and
most people would agree that it is not an excuse to put Owens in the
ICU. Tuesday 8:35 p.m.Mobile police tell News 5 they still hope to make an arrest in the Matthew Owens case before the end of the night.
Owens
was beaten Saturday night in front of his home on Delmar Drive.
Witnesses, including Owens sister, say 20 black people attacked Owens
with pipes, paint cans and chairs. Owens is still in ICU at USA Medical
Center. Weaving in and out of consciousness, Owens told his brother
Lloyd, "Don't let me die."
Police
continue to downplay the Trayvon Martin connection to the beating. But a
neighbor confirms what his sister told News 5. The neighbor, too scared
to go on camera, told News 5's Lauren Vargas that they heard one of the
suspects say "This is justice for Trayvon" as she drove away.
Tonight, an angry mother who lives on the street told News 5's Blake Brown that the kids who live on Delmar Drive are the real victims.
"Every
single day it's a problem with Mr. Owens concerning our kids," Lemica
Whisenhunt. "All these kids do is shoot basketball. We keep 'em in the
yard. They don't bother anybody. We'd rather them play basketball than
to be around here vandalizing, breaking into people's homes. We try to
bring our kids up the right way and show people that all black kids are
not bad." Tuesday 7:30 p.m.Tensions are running high on Delmar Drive.
Before Lauren Vargas' live shot on News 5 at 5:00, a black woman who lives on the street started yelling at Lauren saying the kids are the real victims. Tuesday 6:00 p.m.
From his hospital bed and weaving in and out of consciousness, Matthew Owens told his brother Lloyd, "Don't let me die."
Lloyd taked to The Schnitt Show about Saturday's attack on Delmar Drive that landed him in the ICU. Click here to listen to that interview.
Earlier today, Todd Schnitt interviewed News 5's Blake Brown. Tuesday 3:10 p.m.Mayor Sam Jones is urging the public not to jump to conclusions and to wait until the investigation is finished.
“Police
will certainly explore a racial motive if the evidence supports it,”
said Jones. “This type of mob violence will not be tolerated. If people
think we are going to tolerate that to bring attention to some national
event, they are sorely mistaken. They will be arrested and prosecuted
for assault or whatever the appropriate charge may be," he said. Tuesday 3:05 p.m.News
5's Lauren Vargas spoke with a neighbor who also heard a member of the
mob that beat Matthew Owens say "Now thats justice for Trayvon."
That
backs up what Owens' sister, who witnessed the attack from her house
across the street, told News 5. Ashey Parker calls it "the scariest
thing I have ever witnessed."
Owens' brother, who does not want
to be named because he fears for his safety, told News 5 the mob showed
up in 3-4 cars full of people.
Tuesday 2:55 p.m.
The Matthew Owens beating case is the focus of The Schnitt Show, a nationally syndicated radio show. Listen live
News 5's Blake Brown was interviewed by Laura Ingraham on her nationally syndicated radio show. Click here to listen to the interview.
Tuesday 12:35 p.m.
Mobile police expect to make arrests in the Matthew Owens beating case today.
Owens
is in critical condition at USA Medical Center, three days after police
say he was beaten by "multiple people" armed with chairs, pipes and
paint cans Saturday night in front of his house on Delmar Drive.
Police
are downplaying the Trayvon Martin comment, but the family insists one
of the attackers said "Now thats justice for Trayvon" after the attack.
Trayvon Martin is the unarmed teenager police say was shot and killed
February 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Samford,
Florida.
Monday 6:55 p.m.
Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he's in critical condition.
According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in
the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids
left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the
kitchen sink.
Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.
Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. "It was the scariest
thing I have ever witnessed." Parker says 20 people, all African
American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using
"brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on."
Police will only say "multiple people" are involved.
What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal
beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding
on the ground, Parker says one of them said "Now thats justice for
Trayvon." Trayvon Martin is the unarmed teenager police say was shot and
killed February 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in
Samford, Florida.
George Zimmerman was released from jail overnight.
On Sunday, the Seminole County Florida Jail seen its high profile inmate make the 10% of his $150,000 bail.
George Zimmerman is the young man who was charged with second degree murder of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed teenager who was killed in an apparent confrontation inside a gated housing complex. This shooting sparked a national outrage that spans past political and racial lines.
The United States media and those following this controversy have mixed feelings about the situation.
Somehow this tragedy has sparked the notion of racial profiling in the Black and Hispanic/Latino communities.
On Friday, in a bulletproof vest, the clean shaven George Zimmerman was well dressed in a professional attire awaiting his bond hearing with Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, the parents in the courtroom. As the judge was cross-examining George Zimmerman took the time to apologize to the family of Trayvon Martin.
During the hearing, new attorney Mark O'Mara, family members and even Zimmerman's wife were at best trying to plead to the judge that if bonded out of jail, the young man would be compliant with his home detention and at best stay out of trouble until the next court hearing.
The judge agreed on the merits of Zimmerman's defense. He granted bond at $150,000. Once released the shooter has to get electronic monitoring, forfeit his U.S. passport and provide his own personal security at his expenses.
The Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump, felt the bond wasn't appropriate for this type of crime. Crump expressed disappointment and questioned the decision for Zimmerman to apologize for the shooting.
This case has pretty much ruined George Zimmerman and made him just as controversial as one young woman who acquitted of murder in the death of her two year old daughter.
Florida has become the haven for controversial figures who managed to attract media attention for a crime or an event that garners controversy.
The 1970s rock star and gun right advocate is once again embroiled in a controversy.
This time it earns hims a visit from the Secret Service. The rocker Ted Nugent went to the National Rifle Association annual convention in St. Louis and made a veil threat at President Barack Obama.
This isn't the first time, Nugent made comments toward President Barack Obama.
In 2008, then U.S. presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were subjected to a profanity laced rant by the rock star in which he told Hillary Clinton to ".... his machine gun!"
The most recent statement from the rocker is a declaration that "[He] will either be 'dead or in jail’ if Obama us re-elected!"
Ted Nugent reluctantly endorsed Mitt Romney after the collapse of Republican candidates Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul.
After the controversies with Rush Limbaugh, Hank Williams, Jr., Glenn Beck, and Dr. Laura Schlesinger many conservatives are trying to find rage with those who have liberal/progressive views.
The controversial libertarian comedian Bill Maher who's notorious for his no nonsense stance on issues, became the lightening rod for conservative outrage.
Sean Hannity in particular is obsessed with Bill Maher's measly $1 million donation to President Barack Obama's "Super Pac".
While Hannity's good friend Ted Nugent is popping off his firearms and his big mouth attacking President Barack Obama, the conservatives tend to defend the controversial statements.
Glenn Beck in particular has called his good ole' buddy Ted a "patriot" for his stances.
This marks the latest controversial statements from conservative entertainers.
Earlier this year, Patricia Heaton, best known for her role as Frankie Heck on The Middle and her role as Debra Baronein Everyone Loves Raymond made a controversial tweet about Sandra Fluke, a birth control advocate who was subjected to a partisan attack from Rush Limbaugh. She later deleted the comment and partially ended her Twitter usage. Heaton later apologized for her comments. The controversy lead to Rush Limbaugh losing over 100 radio advertising sponsors.
Hank Williams, Jr. was apparently drunk on the Fox & Friends program and he made an outrageous statement calling President Barack Obama, "Hitler" and saying Vice President Joe Biden and Governor John Kasich of Ohio along with the president are the "Three Stooges". He was later dropped from ESPN as the opening music act and spokesperson.
It was determined that Secret Service found Ted Nugent's comments weren't threatening towards President Barack Obama. But they're aware of his past statements.
Nugent never apologized for his comments, although he walked back his most harshest criticism of the president.
The aftermath has led to Nugent being pulled as act for the U.S. Army event at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Nugent also facing a citation for shooting a black bear he illegally killed in southeastern Alaska during a hunting trip.
Ted Nugent appeared on White nationalist radio program The Political Cesspool with Stormfront host/contributor James Edwards in 2009.
The Political Cesspool Radio show is a conservative program that sponsors White supremacists and extremists. It's a part of Stormfront, a white nationalist online community.
Could this be the injuries of George Zimmerman? Zimmerman faces murder charges in the shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.
The pictures of the injuries on George Zimmerman show that a confrontation did happen and the back of his head was injured.
There's a bond hearing today for the shooter. If found guilty of second degree murder, Zimmerman would face 25 years to life.
The parents of Trayvon Martin will be in attendance of the bond hearing.
ABC News obtained an iPhone photograph from an eyewitness. In an apparent leak to the media, supporters of Zimmerman continue to argue the defense that Martin was the one who engaged in the fight.
Now since this was mentioned by the notorious conservative website, The Drudge Report, I will spare you the vile comments and establish what was said after viewing the pictures.
When the conservative comments come down expect: Racial slurs, Obama, liberal media, guns over human life, you communist, Marxist, white power, Eric Holder, Black Panthers, Fox News, and Viagara.
