J. Cole Apologizes For Autism Diss!

File:J. Cole (DJ Zeke cropped out).jpg
J. Cole
North Carolina based rapper/singer walked back some choice words after a firestorm of outcry.

Rapper and singer J. Cole now jumps in the fray of controversy.

Reuters report that J. Cole who drew criticism for using a disparaging line about people with autism in a song lyric has apologized.

J. Cole said he had removed the line, which referred to rivals as “autistic” and “retarded,” from the song “Jodeci Freestyle.”

The single is a feature on Drake's upcoming album Nothing Was The Same (Cash Money).

It will likely be pulled off the album because of the outcry.

Now cue the lyrics.

J. Cole [bridge]:
Jodeci's back
You bitches screamin' like Jodeci's back
I call the front desk for condoms, she's sayin' they ain't got none
The way that I'm respondin', she know that we black, nigga
(Fuck you mean you ain’t got no condoms)
Jodeci's back
Fuckin' hoes like Jodeci's back
I paint pictures and flip words
Nigga woulda thought Def Poetry back

J. Cole [verse]:
Roof top, hoes turnt up
Lookin' for your bitch, bet she won't turn up
Wonder where she is, fuck could she be
She's a ho, she's a slut, she's a freak
Heard a couple niggas hatin' but them fuck niggas weak
Count a hundred thousand dollars like it sucks to be me
Ain't that what you wanted? Stuntin' on you niggas
Came in this game never frontin' on you niggas
Gave you heart and soul, stories of my pain
Feel naked cause I laid out all my glory and my shame
Caught fire just to have niggas ignore me and my flame
'Bout to burn down the house, they tryna put me in the rain, no
Fuck your list you lame niggas and doubters
I'm undoubtedly the hottest and that's just me bein' modest
Go check the numbers dummy, that's just me gettin' started
I'm artistic, you niggas is autistic, retarded
Started, hold your applause
Who gives a poker face when you jokers showed me your cards?
David and Goliath, takin' on the giants
No need for pause when I tell you my balls bigger than yours
No false gods, young Mike playin' against the Monstars
Tappin' into '94 Nas
Or that '96 Jay, or that Chronic shit, Dre
Which is really just Slim Shady, I'm silly, my pen crazy
Today I'm out in Philly, my fans waitin' for twelve hours
Just to get their dollar signed
Thoughts stream like I'm Spotifyin'
Trenchcoat flow, bottom line
To these too cool for school niggas I'm Columbine
Flow dumber than your projections
This makes twice now, I doubled what you expected, yet
Your covers keep perplexin' me
Maybe it's too complex for me
But is this 'bout skills or is this 'bout sales?
Cause either fuckin' way, man all them niggas is less to me
You legends know that we rap
Bitches screamin' like Jodeci's back

J. Cole added: “I want to educate myself more on Autism, and I’ll gladly own my mistake and serve as an example to today’s generation that there’s nothing cool about mean-spirited comments about someone with Autism.”

The comments were released on his social networking blog, DreamVillain.

“People with this disorder and their loved ones have to go through so much already, the last thing they need is to hear something as ignorant as what I said,” he continued in the post, dated July 21. “I understand.”
Entertainer Toni Braxton and her son. Her son is autistic.

J. Cole had performed the song with the rapper Drake, who has also apologized.

“This was a learning lesson for both of us, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to try to right this wrong,” Drake posted on his website on Monday.

The lyrics drew criticism from people with autism spectrum disorder and their families.

After the song was widely publicized last month, the blogger Lou Melgarejo, whose daughter has autism, asked the two artists to consider the impact of their words.

“Ultimately, you are free to say/rap/sing whatever you want,” he wrote in a post that was carried on the website of the advocacy organization Autism Speaks.

“I am just asking that you please stop insulting those who often cannot defend themselves.”

J. Cole is right. You entitled to say whatever you want in the United States. But as an entertainer, private sector worker, politician, government worker, or news reporter you must walk on egg shells when discussing controversial topics. Autism is a serious matter that creates controversial themes.

The View hired Jenny McCarthy to the roster and autism advocates are upset over this. McCarthy doesn't believe in medical treatments to prevent autism and rather rely on natural solutions. That created a firestorm.

Born Sinner was one of the most anticipated albums of the year.

It features TLC (RCA), Miguel (RCA), Nas (Def Jam), 50 Cent (Aftermath/Shady), and Kendrick Lamar (Aftermath). So far the album sold over 500,000 so far.

The album is competing with a big list of album releases.

The list includes: Magna Carta....Holy Grail (Jay-Z/Roc-A-Fella), Yeezus (Kanye West/Roc-A-Fella), I Am Not Human Being (Lil' Wayne/Cash Money), Excuse My French (French Montana/Bad Boy/Maybach Music Group/Interscope), and Hall Of Fame (Big Sean/Def Jam).

As you know that if you're not Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, you're not selling as much.

Most rappers strive to success by releasing mixtapes and doing small shows instead of big events. It proved fruitful for veterans like Juicy J, 2 Chainz and Ghostface Killah. Now people are waiting on their album releases.

And now people are "stans" of rappers Nicki Minaj, Future, Waka Flocka Flame, J. Cole, Drake, Gucci Mane, will.i.am, and Young Jeezy.

You hear the chants. You buy the merchandise. You may support a political candidate they've endorsed.
The official album covers from J. Cole's Born Sinner.
You're a stan. You will do anything for the moment to meet an entertainer. Kind of creepy, but again a popular thing in the entertainment industry. That's probably why celebrity news agitators continue to thrive in an industry lacking new ideas.

Hollywood and Broadway are the reasons for music, theater, movies, radio, and television programs.

The Troll Under The Bandwidth Bridge!

Why do we even respond to these people? They can't be satisfied.

Today, I offer another reason to why it's important to not address them.

A rule for all bloggers, do not feed the trolls. If you address them, you give in to them.

They will never be satisfied. They'll keep throwing shit to the wall hoping it will stick. Of course, having an honest unapologetic opinion doesn't seem to stick in the mind of our anonymous commentator.

He says that he'll keep on posting his complaints.

Of course, he knows it will be removed and we will continue on.

We will allow reasonable discussion on the topic discussed here on this blog. Why should we read someone's word vomit? We don't have to read someone's insults and bullshit.

This will be used as an example of the word vomit you'll find on the social networks, the blogs and forums. This type of nonsense is the reasons why conservatives are destroying the country.

But seriously should we have to listen to some "arm chair warrior" shouting at us through the computer?

Here's another round of comments from the WHITE EXTREMISTS?

Anonymous said...

I'ma keep posting here, despite your feeble attempt to call me a white elitist or whatever. I am white, I'll admit that, but I have no disrespect for black people at all. I love me some Geordi LaForge, bitch. The problem I see is that you've drawn a line in the sand. Everyone is a white elitist or supports your racially infused campaign. That Cleveland rapist killer was nothing more than trash, be he black or white. No one is making it into a race issue but YOU, cant (sic) you get that through your noggin'? You are the PROBLEM, by drawing these lines in the sand. You are creating more racial tension.I am not in any way trying to snuff out your right to free speech, I'm simply calling you a fucking idiot. Thanks, I don't expect you to post this one too, you'll probably just delete it. But that's all I have to say.

6:15 AM

Anonymous said...+ im (sic) not a republican. Would never vote for those religious oppresive (sic) bastards. I voted for Obama. In the end he proved a feeble political machine just like the rest of the lot. Sad times, but not because he's black. Just because he's a sellout. Politics does that to people. The Wire is my favorite show and if you want to understand where Obama went wrong I suggest you watch Carcetti's arc in season 4.

6:21 AM

Anonymous said...Also- last thing here- I really do think it's funny how quick you labeled me (all caps) a "WHITE EXTREMISTST. (sic)"You wont post this, but I want you to take a second and think about how your world view (YOURS, YOU READING THIS) effects the way YOU see people, in shades of black and white. How is that not fucking racist? You're a racist bro. That was my original point with the psycopath (sic) post. You are just making things worse.

Oh anonymous commentator, take a chill pill.

Your word vomit isn't going to change the opinions expressed here. You're not winning!

Why should we listen to you?

If I am such a racist, bro, where's my white hood?

If I am such a racist, bro, why do I post stories about conservatives getting caught sending racist emails?

Why are conservatives telling President Barack Obama to "GO BACK TO KENYA (AFRICA)?"

Why are conservatives so obsessed with president's birth certificate, religion, and his race?

Why do the conservatives continue to focus on food stamps, welfare, and cutting social safety nets?

Why do conservatives obsess over Black crime when it happens to be a White person involved in a crime that injured or killed a person of color?

Don't answer.

You probably have no clue about what I've said or what I am doing! So let me clear two things for you!

One. I am an American just like you!

Two. I don't worry or care what you say about me, S. Baldwin or anyone here who contributes to Journal de la Reyna. I don't have to prove to you anything. I know my views and I'm going to stick to them.

The only racist here is you! Now please look in the mirror and yell at yourself.

Thank you.

George Zimmerman Wears His Cape While Still In Hiding!

Before I go into the story, we here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to actor Dennis Farina.

He was a former Chicago police officer who became best known as the "tough guy" in most movies and television programs. He knew the roles of "mob bosses" and "detectives".

He will be sorely missed.

The last time I've seen Farina on television was on [The] New Girl with Zooey Deschenel, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson Hannah Simone, and Lamorne Morris.

The country's most hated man has been in hiding since the verdict.

There's numerous protests and the U.S. Justice Department has heard the calls. The Rev. Perm and Sybrina Fulton asked for Rick Scott, the Republican state governor's to repeal the "Stand Your Ground Laws".

So far, the Justice Department is investigating the handling by Sanford Police and ordered that all evidence to be held until the FBI concludes its investigation.

Entertainers from all walks are protesting Florida. Many entertainers are issuing an economic boycott in regards to the verdict.

Well it's appears that even in hiding, Zimmerman makes the news. In order to prove that "he's a good guy" and "he stopped that thug, Travyon Martin", the 29-year old former neighborhood volunteer saves the life of a man and his family.

Zimmerman was one of two men who came to the aid of Dana and Mark Gerstle and their two children, who were trapped inside a blue Ford Explorer SUV that had rolled over after traveling off the highway in Sanford, Fla. at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route Route 46, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot Martin.

By the time police arrived, two people - including Zimmerman - had already helped the family get out of the overturned car, the sheriff's office said. No one was reported to be injured.

Zimmerman was not a witness to the crash and left after speaking with the deputy, police said.

REST IN PEACE, DENNIS FARINA!

Joe Scarborough: Hannity Is An A**hole With These Trayvon Martin Attacks!

Blow Joe and That Guy Who Helped Obama Win are feuding with one another.

On a positive note, the acquitted George Zimmerman tries to make amends. He helps rescue a family who was injured in an accident off Interstate 4 near Florida State Route 417 Tollway in Sanford, Florida.

The country's most hated man has emerged from hiding to do "the right thing".

He wants to at least show some indigenous regret for his predicament.

Regardless of what he does, he's still a killer in the eyes of most Americans. Although I give him props for saving this family, it doesn't change the fact that man killed an unarmed teen. That teen didn't do anything to that man. He was minding his business and this Zimmerman started the confrontation by going after him.

The conservative agitators are saying: "See that George Zimmerman is a "great guy", look how he saved these people in an accident."

The Justice Department is investigating whether Zimmerman violated the civil rights of Trayvon Martin.

There's a major feud going on in the junk food media. There's a civil war within the conservative movement and it's taken its toll on the Republicans.

Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) is going to face Liz Cheney, the daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney in a Republican primary. This is going to be one of the most watched senate races in America.

Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) lost his NRA membership after he voted for bipartisan gun bill and called upon states to reexamine the "Stand Your Ground" laws.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida) gambled his chances with the Tea Party. He and McCain along with Senator Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina) have aided the Democrats in passing comprehensive immigration reform. That Senate managed to do something that couldn't be done in over 25 years. The Republican members of the U.S. House are going to find ways to "kill" the bill before the president signs it.

The Republican Party's most annoying Tea Party members Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Senator Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) are calling for a purge of all moderates and they're working to get rid of the members who support the president's policies.

The television agitators aren't better either. Obama News commentator Joe Scarborough (Blow Joe) and Loserville's That Guy Who Helped Obama Win are feuding with one another. Each of them are personally calling each other "liberal" and "sell-outs" to the conservative movement.

Since the rating "cooling off" period of Obama News, Loserville has gleefully mocked the network for being enablers of "racism", and ultra-Obama butt kissers!

Obama News has called Loserville, the talking points of the Republican Party.

In the Friday edition of his right wing radio carnival, That Guy Who Helped Obama Win slams the president's impromptu speech about race in America.

President Barack Obama elaborated on the days when he was a student and he was racially profiled while going to Harvard University. He told the press pool that "he could have been Trayvon Martin!"

So That Guy Who Helped Obama Wins says that the president and Martin shared two things in common, the chooms, the weed and the blow.

"Now the president's saying Trayvon could've been me 35 years ago," That Guy Who Helped Obama Win said on his radio show. "This is a particularly helpful comment. Is that the president admitting that I guess because what, he was part of the Choom Gang and he smoked pot and he did a little blow — I'm not sure how to interpret because we know that Trayvon had been smoking pot that night."

That led to criticism of the conservative agitator.

Here's a reminder of a racial profiling incident. In 2009, Henry "Skip" Gates and Cambridge, Massachusetts police officer James Crowley got into a heated dispute. The incident got to the president's attention at a press conference. The incident sparked controversy when the president said the Cambridge Police "acted stupidly" when his friend, Harvard professor, Henry "Skip" Gates was arrested in his own home.

Blow Joe has a show that's in the morning. He, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist took over after Don Imus (Rusty Imus) was sent to the unemployment line after the  "Nappy Headed Hoes" comment.
Two polarizing figures. The slain teenager Trayvon Martin and the former neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman open the Pandora's box of "racial extremism" from those in the junk food media.
Rusty Imus and That Guy Who Helped Obama Win are "best buddies' now since he helped him get a spot on Fox Business Network.

Blow Joe slams the conservative agitator for using Trayvon Martin to "gin up ratings" and calling his attack on the teen, "disgraceful".

"It seems we keep hearing that Trayvon had it coming because he had pot in his system," Blow Joe said. "I keep hearing this from people like That Guy Who Helped Obama Win and others on the right. Really?

Would we like to go across college campuses in America and tell all white boys that if they have marijuana in their system then they are fair game?"

"In 2013, [That Guy Who Helped Obama Win], come on," he added later. "Whatever excuse there is to say this young black man had it coming to him, that is the defense because there is no defense for shooting down a young black man in a middle class neighborhood with Skittles."

Blow Joe called the case "depressing." Later, he said that even others in the far right media have called the conservative agitator out. "That Guy Who Helped Obama Win has been ginning this up so badly that... Michael Savage (Savage Weiner) has been saying that he's been irresponsible and that he's using race to gin up his ratings in a way that's bad for America," Scarborough said. "That's how extreme That Guy Who Helped Obama Win's position has been."

Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson agreed with the assertion. They both think That Guy Who Helped Obama Win is encouraging extremism within the conservative movement.

On the radio show, That Guy responds back and slams Obama News for being the biggest ass kissers for Trayvon Martin's family and President Barack Obama. He was telling his gullible audience about the pending lawsuit against the network filed by George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman is suing the network for slander and libel after it was revealed the 911 audiotape was edited to make the acquitted murderer look like a "racist".

This war of words are nothing but a bunch of arm chair bullshitting from the likes of That Guy and Blow Joe.

They both suck dirt and play upon the fears of Black America. Although Blow Joe shows a little more respect for the Black community, he's a Republican. He's an enabler of the outrageous crap that comes to this blog and word vomit about how it's us and "not them" being the racist.

We know That Guy Who Helped Obama Win and That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall are notorious race-baiters. It's a given for all the talk about "urban crime in America".

Here's the videos.

The Six Flags Texas Rollcoaster Tragedy!

Rosy Esparza pictured here died in horrible tragedy in Texas. She died on a ride at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas.

A woman died while riding on a rollcoaster in Arlington, Texas. The Six Flags Over Texas is located about 14 miles equally from the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Rosy Esparza.

The woman was sitting beside her son when she fell to her death after something went horribly wrong on the rollcoaster she rode on.

File:Wooden roller coaster txgi.jpgThere was talk that she was concerned about the seating and the restraint. But somehow the Six Flags ignored that concern and the proceed on the ride.

Somehow the woman fell upon the turns and fell about ten stories to her death.

The woman and her family first visit to the Six Flags Park makes this tragedy even more sad. They didn't expect this thing to happen on a joyous day.

The Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star Telegram has done extensive coverage of this tragedy.

According to the Dallas Morning News, there was an outpouring from across the nation.

Her son on his Facebook page described his mother as adventuresome and said she had been having a good time at the park.

The Dallas mother died Friday evening when witnesses say a restraint came loose and she plummeted to the ground from the Texas Giant, a hybrid steel and wooden roller coaster.

Family members of Esparza confirmed her name but said they were not ready to comment further. One family member said an attorney had been retained to represent the family.

But on his Facebook page, her adult son, Amado Esparza, wrote in Spanish: “I’ve never discovered a day as long as this one. It’s very sad that I lost my mom, but I’m happy that I was able to enjoy her to the maximum while she was alive.”

Neighbors in their southeast Oak Cliff neighborhood said Rosy Esparza lived with her husband, Antonio, Amado Esparza and a teenage son. The couple also has at least one daughter.

One neighbor said Antonio Esparza is a preacher.

Maria Padron, one of the family’s neighbors, said Rosy Esparza was very religious and frequently invited people to her home to study the Bible.

“We cooked a lot for each other; anything you can think of we made for one another,” Padron said.

“Tamales and rare Mexican espresso was our trade. I’m going to miss those simple days of just hearing her knock on the door.”

Padron said Rosy Esparza was a “woman who lived for her family.”

Alfred Cannon, another neighbor, said he had been talking to Amado outside the family’s home Friday and had asked him to work on a water heater.

He said Amado said he would have to do it later because he was headed to pick his mom up at Six Flags.
Later, he received text messages from Amado about his mother having died at the amusement park.

“Her belt went lose and she flew away,” one of the text messages said.

The investigation could take months to determine what happen and the necessary means to prevent this from ever happening.

I wonder if Governor Rick Perry (R-Texas) aka Governor Oops will do something about it!

Tavis Smiley: Pass Us The Kool-Aid, Obama! Your [Trayvon] Talk Too Late!

Tavis Smiley and Dr. Cornel West are Black liberal agitators who complain about President Barack Obama not doing enough for Black America. When the president does something, these two nut farmers criticize him. These guys are just as worse as the conservative agitators I've often mention.

Black liberal extremist can't be satisfied.

This has to be one of the reason why I can't stand Black liberal activists. They want more and more.

They can't settle for compromise.

They always figure that the president isn't doing enough for one group or doing too much for one group.

There are some liberal extremists who can't be satisfied with the way the president does his job.

They're just as bad as the conservative agitators and White extremists.

On the positive note, SiriusXM has relaunched its networks. The relaunch includes the channels I normally listen to in my drive time. The channel SiriusXM LEFT will now be called SiriusXM Progress and SiriusXM The Power will be called SiriusXM Urban View.

Through Public Radio International and featured on WCPT AM, the nation's most popular progressive talk radio network comes Tavis Smiley. Smiley, who is a host on PBS program on late nights also goes to the radio to talk about the state of Black America. He also host a second show with Dr. Cornel West, professor from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York.

Tom Joyner dropped Smiley for Roland Martin after he kept complaining to the audience that Barack Obama in a theme that described him as a "HOUSE NIGGER!"

Anyways, on Obama News featured Meet The Press, David Gregory gets Smiley, Congresswoman Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), and Michael Steele debate this controversy.

Smiley goes to the nut farm with this comment.

[I think that Obama was] pushed to the podium and these comments were as "weak as pre-sweetened Kool Aid."

"I appreciate and applaud the fact that the president did finally show up," Smiley said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

"[But however], this town has been spinning a story that's not altogether true. He did not walk to the podium for an impromptu address to the nation. He was pushed to that podium. A week of protest outside the White House, pressure building on him inside the White House pushed him to that podium. So I'm glad he finally arrived.

"But when he left the podium, he still had not answered the most important question, that Keynesian question, where do we go from here?"

"That question this morning remains unanswered, at least from the perspective of the president. And the bottom line is this is not Libya, this is America."On the Trayvon Martin situation, I think the president is leading from behind".

From Wikipedia.

Tavis Smiley is an American talk show host, author, liberal political commentator, entrepreneur, advocate and philanthropist.

Smiley was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, and grew up in Bunker Hill, Indiana. After attending Indiana University, he worked during the late 1980s as an aide to Tom Bradley, the mayor of Los Angeles. Smiley became a radio commentator in 1991, and starting in 1996, he hosted the talk show BET Talk (later renamed BET Tonight) on BET.

Controversially, after Smiley sold an exclusive interview of Sara Jane Olson to ABC News in 2001, BET declined to renew Smiley's contract that year. Smiley then began hosting The Tavis Smiley Show on NPR from 2002 to 2004 and currently hosts Tavis Smiley on PBS on the weekdays and "The Tavis Smiley Show" from PRI. Starting in 2010 Smiley and Dr. Cornel West have joined forces for their own radio talk show, Smiley & West. They were featured together interviewing musician Bill Withers in the 2009 documentary film Still Bill.

He is the new host of "Tavis Talks" on BlogTalkRadio's Tavis Smiley Network.

In 2008, Tavis Smiley announced that he would resign in June 2008 as a commentator on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. He cited fatigue and a busy schedule in a personal call to Joyner. However, Joyner, referring to several commentaries in which Smiley was critical of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, indicated otherwise on his program, stating: "The real reason is that he can't take the hate he's been getting regarding the Barack issue—hate from the black people that he loves so much."

Prior to the public controversy and being elected President, Obama had been on Smiley's PBS show six times.

In 2012, Smiley participated in a "Poverty Tour" with professor Cornel West in promoting their book The Rich and the Rest of Us: A Poverty Manifesto.

The stated aim of the tour was to highlight the plight of the impoverished population of the United States prior to the 2012 Presidential Election, whose candidates Smiley and West stated had ignored the plight of the poor.

GOP Sundays often have a Republican on there. Usually it's a requirement that Senator John McCain (R-Arizona), Senator Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina), Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), Congressman Mike Rogers (R-Michigan), Congressman Darrell Issa (R-California) and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) be on GOP Sundays.

There's a 3:1 ratio when it comes to Republicans being featured on GOP Sundays.

For some reason the president's talk about being racially profiled became the talk of the town.
