Emmett Till's Death Is Blamed On This Lying Slimeball Named Carolyn Bryant!

Emmett Till died because of a White woman's lies.

What touched off the original Black Lives Matter movement was a 14 year old boy who was brutally killed by two White men in the tiny town of Money, Mississippi. Emmett Till's death touched the nation. It showed how ruthless White extremists were towards Black children. It sparked the modern day Civil Rights movement.

Emmett was grabbed out of bed, drug to the Tallahatchie River and beaten to a bloody pulp. The white extremist gouged his eyes out and then shot at point blank range. They tied his body with barb wire and slinged him onto a cotton gin and let him sink into the river.

The woman who claimed that Emmett whistled at her at her convenience store came out of hiding to admit to the world that she made the whole thing up.

Carolyn Bryant was then a 21 year old shopkeeper who owned the store with her older husband Roy.

Bryant claimed that Emmet was flirting. She claimed he whistled at her. On the night of August 28, 1955, Roy and his brother J.W. Milam carried out the horrific deed. They were caught and tried in a court of law.
Horrible woman hiding from the junk food media. She continues to fear for pathetic life.
They were acquitted of murder. An all-white jury believed that it was justifiable because he was being unruly. They would go on to sell their publicity to the junk food media.

Bryant who was the focal instigator of this admitted that she lied.

Bryant was found by Timothy Tyson. He would write a book about the tragic death of Emmett Till and he delivered some bombshells about how a woman's malicious lie led to the death of an innocent boy.

Bryant is 82 years old and is in hiding from the junk food media.

Carolyn Bryant: EXPECT DEATH THREATS.

You horrible ass woman. You lied about a boy whistling at you and caused your dickhead husband and his buddy kill a child. It's best to stay hidden. Because if the irrational get a hold of you....It's going to be ugly.

Do You Believe Stupid Can Be Fixed? [NSFW]

Woman pours her menstrual blood on a hamburger and served it out the window.

First "You Can't Fix Stupid" story of the year. I mean how is it that being in the service industry a luxurious job? I work in it. I despise it. I would love to find an escape from it. Because I am a father now and I am determined to make sure my child is taken care of. I am seriously not going to jeopardize my job for some stupid shit like this one woman.

When a women goes through a period, she would use a tampon to soak her menstrual blood into it.

Well in Columbus, Mississippi, a fast food worker plotted revenge on a rude customer. She decided to pour the blood soaked on her tampon and slap it down on a hamburger. As the burger being cooked, she would then take it off the grill and then place the hamburger in the wrapper and serve it to the rude customer.
If convicted of felonious assault with a biohazard, this woman will see her child when she turns 10.
She would have gotten away with it. Darn those coworkers who happen to witness the disgusting deed. A co-worker told her mother. The mother placed it on social media and the restaurant got word of it. They immediately done an investigation and contacted the police.

When 18-year old Sky Juliett Samuel came to work, she was confronted by the management. At first she said that she had nothing to do with it. But after they rolled the tape, she confessed. Not only did they fire her out the cannon but said that her actions were criminal.

The police were notified and she turned herself in.

Now she is facing felonious assault charges and could spend a nickel in the iron college.

Samuel is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Pretty stupid.
Hey, Sky Juliet Samuel: Expect Death Threats.

Expect death threats for your disgusting and downright ignorant behavior at this establishment.

Not only did you put the company at risk of a lawsuit, you endangered the public with this type of behavior. No telling if the person ingested the entire hamburger. You put your former co-workers at risk of being fired out the cannon. The health department will shut the business down, force a mandatory food and safety inspection on all locations in the area. They will have to destroy all the food, the equipment and even water faucets. They will lose up to $1 million in damages cause of your ignorance. The company will sue for the loss and the customer you serve might sue you as well.

I peeped her social media. She hasn't gotten a chance to scrub her social media. Unfortunate for her, her social media may be lit up with people trashing her, her child and those who know her.

All because she felt the need to share her personal hygiene on food.

By the way, the restaurant is called Jack's and it's a very popular burger spot in the south. They have locations in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.

It's based in the Birmingham area. It's located in Homewood, a suburb that is 6 miles from downtown.

Knuckle Style Chili Served In A Memphis Kroger!

Clean up in aisle 5.

Tis' the season for a beating! In Donald J. Trump's America, coupon hoarding and impatient customers. When the controversial billionaire/racist/sexist/pussy grabbing/immature reality television star becomes your next fuhrer, we will expect more of this. After all, he'll pay for the court fees if the dude was a Trump supporter.

A woman was served knuckle style chili at a Memphis area Kroger and she told the junk food media about her experience. He would shove her to the ground and serve her a knuckle style chile with toe jam.

"He grabbed my bun pulled me back and smashed me into a cart. When I came to I was on the ground and my leg was under the cart," said Megan Wilson.

Wilson who the junk food media called an "extreme couponer" got into a confrontation with another customer after he got fed up standing in line for 20 minutes while she was sorting through coupons.

"He started shouting 'Come on, there's other people out here. Nobody has time for this,'" said Wilson.

Battered and bruised, she turns to the junk food media to find the man who would do such a thing.

Well I happened to look at the video and see something interesting.

Did Wilson provoke the incident by throwing fluid at the guy?

Police released the surveillance video from the attack. It shows a different view. The newly released video shows that Wilson accidentally spilled her drink on the man behind her. Wilson appeared to purposely throw her drink on him before he lunges at her.

Memphis Metro Police are calling upon witnesses to identify the man to get his side of the story.

Kimberly Houzah: Victoria's Secret Treated Me Like A Thug!

Mississippi woman got shamed by Victoria's Secret.

A woman who was at an Oxford, Mississippi mall was roused by a Victoria's Secret manager. The manager accused her and another woman of being geekers. The original geeker was busted but the reactionary of the manager made the situation worse. She told Kimberly Houzah and the other woman to leave the store.

At first, Houzah was caught off guard by the demand. So she starts filming and it went viral. It got the attention of the corporate office in New Albany, Ohio and the manager and another worker were fired out the cannon.

On the company's Facebook page, Victoria's Secret stated it had reached out to Kimberly Houzah, who recorded her experience at the store in a Facebook Live video.

"We take the experience of our customer at the Quintard Mall very seriously and have reached out to her directly to express our sincere apology," the statement reads. "What happened at our store should not have happened and does not represent who we are or what we stand for."

The store associate involved "is no longer employed with the company," the statement continues.

"Victoria's Secret is adamant that all customers regardless of race be treated with dignity and respect at all times," it said.

Houzah, a traveling nurse who is a native of Calhoun County, made the video in which she can be seen in the Victoria's Secret store inside Quintard Mall. She claimed in the video she and another black woman were told to leave the store by management after a black woman they did not know was caught shoplifting.

Earlier today, Houzah returned to the store with supporters and store employees apologized to her there.

In the 11-minute video, Houzah says she is a regular customer of Victoria's Secret.

"I'm a little more settled about it today," she said. "I don't want anything bad to happen to anyone. I mean, I can't change who I am. I'm an African-American female and I just want to be treated like everybody else."

Houzah said she will probably continue to shop at Victoria's Secret, though she may not come into the Oxford location again.

Trump's Black Outreach!

White motorist screams at a Black motorist. He calls him a NIGGER.

Shaun King, writer for the New York Daily News is a prominent figure in the #BlackLivesMatter movement. He retweeted this disturbing video of a Memphis man calling a Black motorist a NIGGER.

The man is a Trump supporter and proud of it. He went into this rampage over how Black people are NIGGERS because they're on whatever stereotype he pulled out his ass. He slammed Black Lives Matter for not being concerned about Black on whatever crime.

He said that he doesn't give a fuck about being on social media. So I guess he'll rethink that decision once they find him.

This video went viral and social media is trying to find him. They want to get him fired from his job.

This incident started over the guy getting cut off by the Black motorist. The White motorist was with his girl and she warned him to stop acting out. The guy was totally inappropriate.

At the end of the video the Black motorist said "vote". He believes that Donald Trump's supporters are in the words of Hillary Clinton are deplorable.

Mississippi Nuns Murdered! Suspect Caught!

Two Mississippi Nuns were murdered in cold blood. The suspect was caught.

The nation is wondering why a cold hearted man would kill two innocent women who made it their mission to serve the people in need. The deaths of Paula Merrill and Margaret Held will certainly rile up the alt right. After all Alex Jones, Colin Flaherty, Matt Drudge and many others seethe in the cesspool of racial agitation.

The suspect is a Black man and the victims were White women.

Two Mississippi nuns were murdered in cold blood and the community is mourning their deaths. Of course they quickly arrested the suspect.

Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain said in a statement Friday night that Rodney Earl Sanders of Kosciusko has been charged with two counts of capital murder in the deaths of Sister Margaret Held and Sister Paula Merrill, both 68, the AP reports. Their bodies were discovered Thursday after they failed to show up for work at a clinic in Lexington, about 10 miles from where they lived. "Sanders was developed as a person of interest early on in the investigation," Lt. Colonel Jimmy Jordan said in the statement.
Suspect was detained.
Sanders is being held in an undisclosed detention center awaiting his initial court appearance. In the Mississippi county where the two nuns were slain, forgiveness for their killer is hard to find, even if forgiveness is what the victims would have wanted. The nuns were nurse practitioners who dedicated their lives to providing health care to people in the poorest county in the state. "Right now, I don't see no forgiveness on my heart," says Joe Morgan Jr., a 58-year-old former factory worker who has diabetes and was a patient of Merrill's at the clinic where the two nuns worked .He says he hopes the perpetrator is convicted and executed. "She doesn't deserve to die like this, doing God's work," he says. "There's something wrong with the world."

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He will face the death penalty if convicted.

The FBI Wants To Nab This Pretty Face For Murder!

Screenshot of Shanika Minor’s Top Ten Poster
The feds want to put this woman in the joint for murder.

The FBI added another woman to the Ten Most Wanted list. Shanika Minor is being sought by the feds after eluding a shooting a nine month pregnant woman.

In the early hours of a March night, Shamika Minor killed a neighbor over a long-standing feud that involved music and verbal insults. Senseless violence sparked by ignorance.

Since Brenda Delgado made the list this year, very few women earn the title of "MOST WANTED FUGITIVE".
Tamecca Minor was murdered along with her unborn child.
The Milwaukee Police and FBI hopes the public finds the suspect and nabs her before she causes great harm to people or herself. Shanika Minor is a 24 year old woman from Milwaukee who is being sought in the death of Tamecca Perry and her unborn child.

Minor is being charged with murder, intentional homicide of an unborn child. The charges are likely to carry a LIFE sentence. The FBI offering a $100,000 in the capture of her and anyone who helped her flee the feds.

This happened over a minor dispute over music. Minor had complained that Tamecca was playing her music loud in the early AM. She had a firearm on her and put the burner on the young mother.

FBI wants this fugitive.
Minor's mother tried to calm the situation. But heated words led to Minor pulling the trigger. The bullet hit Tamecca in the chest. Tamecca ran away before collapsing. The young mother collapsed in front of her children and her boyfriend.

The family of the victim is hoping that Minor turns herself in.

"Wherever you at Shanika, I would appreciate it if you could come. I don't want you to get hurt. I just want you to just come forward," said Cynthia Freeman, the mother of Tamecca Perry. "I just want her caught so I can rest. I don't sleep. I don't eat. I really want to know the reason why she would pull a gun out and do what she did to my daughter."

Shanika doesn't have much of a paper trail. Some say that she was a delivery person. The woman doesn't have no other jobs.

The feds are hoping to nab her. She has ties to Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio and Georgia. So all the state agencies are hoping that Minor makes a slip-up.

Minor is innocent until proven guilty. The charges alone could put her away for LIFE. The Death card could be issued if the suspect had willingly intended on murder.

Anyone who aids in Minor's escape will be charged with aiding and abetting a federal fugitive.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Tamecca Perry and her unborn child.

Roy Moore Got Iced For Turd Flipping!

Alabama's most infamous judge is back in the news. Roy Moore now trying to battle the will of the Supreme Court.

Bible thumping Alabama chief justice Roy Moore back on the sidelines after a federal judge stripped him of his gavel. Moore was suspended after the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission filed ethics charges against him. Moore will now be tried by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary, and could be removed from the bench if found guilty.

The controversial judge who gained fame in 2004 after his refusal to remove the Ten Commandments from the state capitol is now faced another battle he's losing.

Last year the Supreme Court ruled that gay marriage is legal in the United States. Conservatives have seen their grip on the country unravel before their eyes. The conservatives are so fed up with the direction of the country, they are on the verge of nominating Donald Trump, an emboldment of all the rage they've had against the changing society they "want back".

He will not support marriage. He refuses to acknowledge legal battles in the state that involve same-sex couples who still are blocked from obtaining marriage licenses.

Moore, who stated last year he would "not be bound" by the Supreme Court’s ruling legalizing same-sex marriages because they change the "organic law" of God, was dismissive of the accusations against him.

The controversial justice along with Robert Bentley, the embattled governor of the state have face allegations of corruption and sexual affairs while in office.

Bentley who is caught up in a sex scandal is under federal watch for allowing his goons rough up people who wanted to blow the whistle on the governor and his tryst with a younger woman who wasn't his wife.

Moore who is defiant said that a transvestite and the merry band of secular activists will not move him. He says that he will get the support from the public and he'll be back on the bench shortly.

Mississippi Mom Takes A Cruz!

Mississippi woman is being called Miss Cruz.

The junk food media spotted a guest who was on the Maury show who looks eerily similar to struggling presidential candidate Ted Cruz. Mediaite gets the goods on the woman who is shocked that people think she could be a long lost daughter or sister of the Republican senator from Texas.

The woman went on the show, which was broadcast on Monday, because her partner feared she had been unfaithful - but she passed lie-detector tests and DNA results showed her child was his.

She told Maury in a short video broadcast on the show's Facebook page: "I had never heard of Ted Cruz."
Hayes’ brush with fame began on Monday when her appearance on The Maury Povich Show aired
Never heard of him.
Searcy Hayes, is a 21 year old mother from Natchez, Mississippi. She looks like the female version of the world's most hated politician. She and her boyfriend took part in a DNA test to see whether he was indeed the father of her baby son Jayden Tyler Green - with Hayes later posting news of the positive result on Facebook.

Her boyfriend, Freddie Nathan Green Jr, is also an active social media user and has a Facebook profile littered with pictures of Hayes and their son.

And being the most hated politician is a title that Cruz wears like a badge. Now Searcy is facing harsh criticism from online trolls saying that she's ugly and making her the target of ridicule.

Searcy told the junk food media, she's not interested in helping Cruz. She wishes him well, though.

She rather Make America Be Great Again!

"I don’t know his positions and I’ve never seen him, so I don’t know if he’s done a good enough job to be reelected."
Mississippi mom who looks like Ted Cruz supports his rival Donald Trump.
Now she's getting offers from social media. XHamster, a porn streaming website offered her a $10,000 deal to make a parody porn about Ted Cruz. They seriously believe that Cruz had numerous affairs and they're willing to pay women the opportunity to tell their side of their story.

The woman is willing to do it. And XHamster will exclusively produce any video she chooses to participate in. She and her boyfriend moved across the Mississippi River and live in a trailer park in Louisiana. This money would help her move out of that area and into a house.

Her boyfriend gave his blessings.

Many porn companies have blocked access to North Carolina over their controversial restroom law.

XHamster led the way to pushing a DOS on North Carolina. So if you want to see BBW porn with Searcy "Miss Cruz" Hayes, head to Virginia.

Motor City Madness!

Hillary Clinton
Clinton greets voters.

It appears that Donald Trump's hold on the Republican Party is coming undone. The Republican front runner is competitive with Ted Cruz in many of the states that he's held a strong lead for the last three months. Marco Rubio's campaign is in danger. The calls for him to drop out. Say if Rubio wanted to run for governor of Florida, he would not succeed in winning it. If Rubio loses in Florida, his legacy is forever tarnished. He would be looked upon as the "one hit wonder".

John Kasich faces another huge setback. He put a lot of time into a state and yet it didn't net him a victory.

When we hear about the race in Idaho and Hawaii, we'll determine if the Trump holds onto his lead.

CNN projects that Donald Trump secures Mississippi. The race was a blowout. Despite the last ditch effort for Cruz with the Phil Bryant, the Republican governor, the Texas senator loses this one.

Trump secures Mississippi with 49%, Cruz 30%, Kasich 11% and Rubio with 10%.
Cruz is still in this. Being in second place isn't enough. You have to be in first place to gain momentum.
The Michigan primary is determining who's going to hold strength in the Republican race.

John Kasich follow the failed nominee Mitt Romney's call to stop Trump. Kasich is neck and neck in the race. So far, Trump is leading in the votes.

There's reports that staff is bolting from Marco Rubio's campaign. The Florida senator is dismissing this report and faulting Ted Cruz for spreading misinformation.

The Huffington Post and The Drudge Report projects that Donald Trump won Michigan with a comfortable 40%. John Kasich goes in with 24%. Ted Cruz 14% and Marco Rubio 8%.

CNN projects that Michigan goes to Donald Trump. A big victory for the Republican candidate.

CNN projects Hillary Clinton has won the Mississippi primary for the Democratic nomination. The former Secretary of State had trounced Bernie Sanders in this state. The Black vote and older voters turnout heavily for Clinton. But the younger voters turned out high for Sanders. Working class White voters have went to Clinton but will it matter since the state is deeply Republican.

Clinton won with 83% of the vote with Sanders netting 17%.
Trump is more harder than the Democrats thought!
Michigan primary for the Democrats is neck and neck. Sanders is leading in the polls. Clinton put a lot of effort into this state.

The Democrats already have a competitive race on them.

There is a statistical tie between Clinton and Sanders. Sanders was ahead in the polls.

Clinton's debate performance may have failed her. And the appearance on the Fox News town hall didn't help much.

Sanders may have won his biggest state in this election. That would make Florida extremely competitive.

Republicans are now panicking. They are losing this. The vow to stop Trump. Many in the junk food media have figured that Trump would take a loss in Michigan. It didn't go that way. Trump's healthy wins in two states that Cruz and Kaisch's failed in their quest to usurp the media mogul.

Trump is now talking coy about rivals former Republican team Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI). Trump got a call from the former vice presidential nominee (now Speaker of the House) and he said that the conversation was friendly. He also said to Romney, that his plan failed to stop him. But he said that he's hoping that Romney changes his mind on him.

Trump is making note of the email scandal plaguing Clinton. Trump knocks Lying Ted and Little Marco. He said that they can say all the stuff about him, but it won't work against him. He also knocked Karl Rove and GOP donors for wasting all their money on him. He said they should have spent all that on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Trump snarks at the reporter on political correctness.

Drudge mocks Marco Rubio yet again. He took the photoshop picture of a little Marco Rubio at CPAC.

John Kasich tells the audience that his second place finish shows that he's still strong at winning the blue collar votes. He believes that his opportunity to secure a second place finish assures that Ohio will be sweeter.

Kasich is trialing Trump in Ohio by 10 points. The Ohio governor could face a pretty embarrassing defeat if Trump secures a strong victory in the primaries.

CNN still holds back the projection. They're waiting on Wayne County, McComb County and Kent County. The cities that represent the areas Detroit, Pontiac and Grand Rapids. Clinton is catching up.
Another defeat for Ohio governor John Kasich.
Sanders still holds a slim lead against Clinton. The results show that Sanders has 50% and Clinton has 48%.

Sanders does a presser. He says that this win was a victory for all the hard work. He also said that he's determined to stay in this race. Sanders knocks the critics for saying his campaign is over in Michigan.

Sanders is saying that the American public is tired of a rigged economy, a political class who spends millions to stay in power. He said that Americans (especially Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans) are tired of the unequal criminal justice that is served. He said that his campaign is a movement and a wake up call to Democrats who crowned Hillary Clinton the nominee.

Sanders also said that regardless of this, Ohio and Florida will be competitive.

Sanders sues Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted for allegedly blocking young voters who turn 18. Those young voters could have an opportunity to vote in the primaries and general election but they're still not at the age. It's going to federal court.

The Idaho primary so far is looking good for Ted Cruz. He is leading in the closing results.

CNN projects that Bernie Sanders won Michigan. He won 52% to Clinton's 47%.

Huge victory for the Vermont senator.

This makes Illinois, Ohio, Missouri and Florida even more competitive. Hillary Clinton got a long way to go!

CNN projects that Ted Cruz wins the state of Idaho.

Cruz wins the state by 52% while Trump got 32%, Rubio got 14% and Kaisch 2%.

CNN projects that Donald Trump won the Hawaiian Caucus. Trump won three states and Cruz won one. The Republicans are more enthusiastic about the elections more than the Democrats.

Conservatives Lumping Black Suspects To Black Lives Matter!

null
Shooting suspect Joseph Johnson-Shanks (left) poses with Missouri law enforcement. He was the suspect in the killing of a Kentucky State Police trooper. Conservatives are lumping him with Black Lives Matter.

Okay, from this point on, why don't we start associating every White criminal/terrorist to the conservative movement! Because it sure seems like an eye for an eye.

That old fart Limbaugh was bitching about the Kentucky State Police trooper Joseph Ponder being gunned down by Joseph Johnson-Shanks after a routine pull over. The suspect is Black and from the St. Louis area. The area seen unrest since the Michael Brown shooting. It became a rally cry for Black Lives Matter. The racist right seems fixated on blaming the group for cop killings.

As predicted, the racist right would lump every Black criminal to President Barack Obama and those in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Somehow, they unearth Johnson-Shanks' social media and found that attended the Michael Brown funeral and had sympathies for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Big freaking deal!
Kentucky State Police trooper Joseph Ponder wasn't going to arrest suspect. He was going to detain his vehicle and help him get shelter. Some troopers offer shelter for people who get pulled over with vehicle violations. The suspect would put the passenger and her children in danger.
Johnson-Shanks had a legal right to a firearm. He used the firearm in poor judgement and cut short not only this trooper's life but his own when he refused to concede. The KSP put him down after ignoring the orders.

The passenger faced the music because she didn't render aid to the trooper. She could have escape but continued to be with the suspect. She may face the murder charges.

Blaming Black Lives Matter is the only option for conservatives. The suspect was Black.

Where's the cries from Black Lives Matter when a cop is killed?

So from now on, I might as well label every White mass shooter, cop killer, child molester, rapist and terrorist to AM agitators, that network and agitators in the junk food media.

Matter of fact, we'll lump Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, Dana Loesh, Bill O'Reilly, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, that annoying conservative agitator Sean Hannity, Michael Savage and asshole Mark Levin responsible for the actions of every White criminal.

Since we've lumped criminal behavior, the next mass shooter read InfoWars, The Drudge Report, World Net Daily, GotNews, The Blaze and The Daily Caller before the mass shooter had an inspiration to kill.
Shannon Lamb a former professor murdered his girlfriend and another fellow professor. Should we blame conservatives for his actions? He comes from Mississippi, one of the most conservative states in the nation.
Since the conservatives can't seem to back down from the blame game, its noted that Black America should squarely place the ire of a mass shooting on them.

I know I hate to blame others for an individual's own decisions. We live in a society where the junk food media sparks interest in these events, for ratings.

I said gun crime is on the rise. This is the biggest threat in the nation. This overshadows terrorism and Ebola. Gun crime is the most talked about issue in the United States. Over 2,300 people are injured by firearms. Over 4,000 people died by firearm a day.

Okay, let's get to Mississippi. A terrorist murdered two and then took out his own life. The families are shocked to here this man (i.e. the nice guy) would commit such an act. The state is mourning the loss of this college professor who inspired his students to greatness.

Really who takes the blame for the Delta State University shooting?

A) BARACK OBAMA
B) BLACK LIVES MATTER
C) NRA
D) AL SHARPTON
E) THE SHOOTER
F) ALL OF THESE ABOVE

If you picked the shooter, then you're correct. But if you picked the rest of them, you're not helping.

Amy Prentiss was gunned down.
Concern trolls and conservatives blaming Black Lives Matter. Hell why don't we lump the terrorist with conservatives.

Instead of blaming the terrorist who murdered his girlfriend and a college professor at a rural Mississippi university, we'll just blame AM agitators for the shooting.

Shannon Lamb committed mass murder over the past day. This terrorist killed Amy Prentiss his longtime girlfriend before driving to Delta State University to settle a score with a former friend.

This terrorist puts a bullet in the head of Ethan Schmidt, a professor in history. This terrorist was a former geography professor who had mental issues.

He lives in Mississippi one of the most Republican friendly states in the nation. He had obtained the legal right to firearm. He decides to make his children survivors of the court because of his actions.

He was a single parent raising two children. He was struggling with monetary issues.

He was a talented man. This terrorist had an opportunity to escape the troubles by performing music at local clubs. He leaves his friends and band mates stunned about this.

This terrorist probably believed Amy was having an affair with Ethan. He should have dumped her and move on. He should have gotten a STD test and count your blessings that she didn't steal his property.

Whether it was an affair or not, the actions committed by this terrorist destroyed families.

Ethan leaves behind a wife and three children. He was a beloved instructor at Delta State. Amy was a mother of a budding musician. She leaves behind her daughter who performed with the terrorist.

So I am guessing if you want to lump a mass shooter to conservatism, go right ahead. They are lumping a Missouri man's ties to Ferguson as an excuse.
Ethan Schmidt was a beloved professor who taught history. This terrorist Ethan once referred a friend killed him.
Okay, well there's some unraveling of the Fox Lake cop shooting. The FBI and Illinois active search team are looking for three suspects. Two White guys and a Black guy. Somehow, they still haven't gotten the lead. It's been two weeks since the death of a Fox Lake officer, the case is getting cold.

Or was there ever a case?

Did the officer Charles Joseph Gliniewicz (known as Officer Joe) commit suicide?

There is word on the street that Officer Joe put a bullet in his torso. We can't confirm that he committed suicide. But the bag em ups said that evidence is shaky.

The FBI thought they had a strong lead. That lead lead to nowhere.

Since Black Lives Matter was blamed for the death of Officer Joe, wondering if the conservative will recant their accusations if the case turns out to be a self-inflicted wound?

Your thoughts on the matter? Post them here.

World News Today send our condolences to the families of Joseph Ponder, Ethan Schmidt, Amy Prentiss and every victim of gun crime in the United States.

Katrina 10!

The worst natural disaster in American history happened in 2005.

World News Today send our condolences to those lost in this horrific tragedy.

On August 29th, 2005, the costliest and most deadliest natural disaster hit the Gulf Coast cities of New Orleans, Slidell. Gulfport, and Biloxi.

Over 1,940 people have lost their lives to such a destructive force of nature.

The hurricane was retired as a name. The impact was felt throughout the nation and the world. It gave the public a negative perception of leadership. It sealed a legacy of failure caused by the lack of government response to handle a catastrophe.

Hurricane Katrina started August 23rd in the Atlantic. The hurricane hit the Caribbean nations first. It landed on the southern tier of Florida. As the hurricane grew in the Gulf of Mexico, the hurricane strengthen into a category 5 storm. When it crashed on Louisiana shore line, it was a disastrous category 3 storm.

The impact caused the collapse of the levee system in New Orleans. People stranded in the city were force to find food by looting businesses. The city was swamped. People were crying for help.

A handful of residents were forced to take refuge in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

It lead to 85% of New Orleans to be flooded by the waters of Lake Pontchartrain, the Mississippi River and the canals.

President George W. Bush took the most heat. His failure to handle this crisis doomed his second term. He was on his annual vacation when this happened. The perception of ignoring a crisis came full circle when he finally made it out to New Orleans. The last time he caught flack was when September 11th happened in 2001. Many people rallied behind Bush during this crisis. But this time, it wasn't the case.

Of course, FEMA was active in New Orleans. But due to the Bush pledge of limited government, the organization couldn't muster enough relief to the victims. A handful of residents of New Orleans were poor. They couldn't afford flood insurance. So when the storm washed away their homes, they were left without a chance to rebuild.

FEMA's then chief Michael Brown took the fall. When FEMA's top workers were scrambled they didn't have the experience to deal with a wide scale disaster such as this. Bush would utter "Heck of a job Brownie" response. That would be words of infamy. blamed the government and the extreme partisanship by his fellow Republicans for the disaster. The White House denied it.

Matter of fact, the impact got Kathleen Blanco to not seek reelection for the governorship.
Bush's Katrina.
Who suffered the most was C. Ray Nagin, then mayor of New Orleans. He was the most passionate of the leadership. Matter of fact, he was so passionate about the victims, he made the infamous declaration of failure on national television.

The government was unaware of the massive kickbacks and political corruption at the time. Nagin was taking steps to collect $$$$$ so his family could rebuilt and he can live the live of luxury. Nagin was indicted by the feds and found guilty in corruption. He is serving a dime in federal time out.

Bush's legacy went down in flames. It paved the way for Barack Obama to become the president.

Since Katrina, the government made it top priority to get things right.

Well ten years later, a long road ahead.

President Barack Obama, former president George W. Bush and members of Congress visit areas worst hit by the hurricane.

The historic Ninth Ward is still a long way to go. But hopefully, the government can rebuild this great city back to its glory.

Mississippi Couple Could Face Federal Time Out For Da'eesh Hookup!

Feds stop American couple from joining extremist group in Syria.

The Islamic State is a popular breeding ground for the reclusive. Again the most dangerous individual to cause mass causalities are the "NICE GUYS". Yeah, the people who some think are innocent and never would ever do something like this. There are some American people sympathetic to the extremist group's causes. That brings a whole lot of concern to the U.S. Homeland Security and Justice Departments. Some are leaving their families to join the group many in the world call the most dangerous bunch of terrorists since the rise of al-Qaeda.

Of course, many American Muslims denounce the Islamic State. It's also dubbed Da'eesh.

Some supporters are trying to find ways to duck the feds by coding their words. Apparently two Mississippi residents didn't expect the feds were watching. They were caught by their own mistakes.

Socializing online with groups they believe are supporters of the Islamic State. Nope, they the feds.

An American couple was stopped at the gate. They got hitched this year and the plan was going to a country that wasn't Turkey and then sneak into Syria to join the extremist group.

22 year old Muhammad "Mo" Oda Dakhlalla and his wifey 20 year old Jaelyn Delshaun Young-Dakhlalla were nabbed by the feds after they were trying to leave a Mississippi airport. They were going to do an untraceable flight plan.

Not so fast.

The two are being held on federal conspiracy charges which can carry up to 25 years in federal time out. The charges are a devastating blow to the families.

The young woman was a star athlete and student. Her mom is a principal at a school and her father is a part of the law.  The young man was a star student. He was a shy, quiet kid who had name recognition but no play in high school. His father is a imam at a local mosque. The family were average middle class and were shocked to hear this.

Family members did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Both are former Mississippi State University students, according to university spokesperson Sid Salter. Dakhlalla, of Starkville, Mississippi, graduated in the spring with a degree in psychology, and Young was last enrolled in the spring as a sophomore studying chemistry.

Ken Coghlan, an attorney representing Young, declined to comment to reporters outside the federal courthouse in Oxford, Mississippi, after a hearing there Tuesday. Greg Park, a federal public defender representing Dakhlalla, also declined to comment.

An affidavit filed in U.S. District Court details how two undercover FBI employees unraveled the alleged scheme.

The couple described their skills and asked how they could help the terror group's efforts. "I am good with computers, education and media," Dakhlalla allegedly wrote in one message to an FBI employee. "What could I contribute?" Young also allegedly told an undercover FBI agent that her skills would be useful. "I am skilled in math and chemistry and worked at an analytical lab here on my college campus. My partner is very good with things like computer science/media. We learn very fast and would love to help with giving medical aid."

In messages detailed in the complaint, the couple seemed enthusiastic, but also concerned about how training would work once they arrived. "Salaam again," Dakhlalla allegedly wrote in a message to an FBI employee. "I wanted to ask about the military experience there. Would I be with people that speak English as well or do they put me with everyone at basic training? I am excited about coming ... but I feel I won't know what all I will be doing."

They showed sympathy to the last incidents of mass murder. The Chattanooga shooting and the failed Garland shooting.

Memphis Grieving The Loss Of An Officer!

Sean Bolton was on the Memphis police for four years. A routine traffic stop turned deadly for him.

The racist right will have a "I told you so" moment. Of course, they'll complain about the protesters not even giving two fucks about the lives of the officers.

Well here we go. I've said it too many god damn times. Gun crimes are on the rise. Over 2,000 people are shot by a firearm a day. Over 1,200 people a day are killed by firearms. There are so many names, I could take over a month to say them. Concern trolls such as those law supporting conservatives say that those who complain about the need for police reform are the ones who allow "their friends" do all the damage.

A officer in Memphis lost his life in a shooting. It was a routine stop.

I am wondering who's going to be the first agitator to point the finger at President Barack Obama.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Sean Bolton.

Again, those in law enforcement get no praise for doing the right things. They only get it when they die in the line of duty. The bad ones (i.e. corrupt cops and career criminals) are often the ones who make it harder on everyone.

Again, the multiple choice question of the blame game.

Who will get the blame in the killing of a Memphis Police officer?

A) Barack Obama
B) The Blacks Lives Matter Protesters
C) Jesse Jackson
D) Al Sharpton
E) The Shooter
F) All Of These Above

If you answer E, then you are right.

But if you picked the A through E, you're not helping. You have a right to be condescending. Of course, blaming a man who spoke on unethical practices conducted by those in law enforcement got you people riled up.

Matter of fact, since Memphis has 70% Black populations you blame the residents, the mayor A C Wharton, the Democratic Party, and local leaders for not addressing Black on _______ crime.

Even though they've talked about it constantly, I guess you were listening to that old fart on the AM dial or watching that annoying conservative agitator on that network. Maybe you found click bait. A story from the conservative Craigslist. Hell did you buy a book from asshat Colin Flaherty?

Wait a minute, are planning to troll underneath the bandwidth bridge?

The ones who do right never get praise.

Only in death, a cop gets respect.

Sean Bolton died from multiple gunshot wounds after he was shot just after 9:15 p.m. while conducting a traffic stop at Cottonwood and Perkins in Parkway Village Saturday night.

Bolton was rushed to the Regional Medical Center, but was pronounced dead there.

The suspect, apparently an occupant of the car that was pulled over, was still at large late Saturday.

Dozens of officers from  the Memphis Police Department gathered outside the hospital in a grim vigil Saturday night, waiting for news about Bolton, who served in the Marines. Officers from other departments, including the Shelby County Sheriff and the state troopers, joined them in a show of support.

In a briefing outside Regional Medical Center, Police Director Toney Armstrong told the media that a citizen used the officer’s radio to call for help. The officer was hit with  multiple gunshots, he said.
Memphis is grieving over the lost of an officer.
“The suspect is still at large and officers are in the area trying to locate him at this time,” Armstrong said. “We are using all the means available to use to find the people responsible for this.”

Mayor A C  Wharton said this tragedy emphasizes the dangers of the job.

“This speaks volumes about he inherent dangers of police work,” Wharton said.

Armstrong also referenced the other two officers lost during his time leading the department.

On July 3, 2011 Officer Timothy Warren  was shot and killed in a downtown hotel. On Dec. 14, 2012, Officer Martoiya Lang was shot and killed while serving a warrant.

“We’ve been here before,” Armstrong said. “This is my third time in four years I’ve been director. It never gets any easier.”

BREAKING: B.B. King Passes Away!

The news is confirmed that Blues legend B.B. King has passed away. He was interned into hospice a few weeks ago. He was suffering from heart failure and type II diabetes.

His family and management team have confirmed that he passed away tonight.

The remaining tours were cancelled upon hearing the Blues legend was admitted to the hospital.

No word from the White House yet, but expect it.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of B.B. King.

Brief summary from Wikipedia.

B.B. King (born Riley B. King) was an American blues musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

Rolling Stone magazine ranked him at No. 6 on its 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time (previously ranked No. 3 in the 2003 edition of the same list), and he was ranked No. 17 in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time".

According to Edward M. Komara, King "introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist that followed."

King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. King was also inducted into 2014 class of the R&B Music Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, earning the nickname "The King of Blues", and one of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with Albert King and Freddie King).
Godfather of Soul and the King of the Blues.
King is also known for performing tirelessly throughout his musical career, appearing at 250–300 concerts per year until his seventies. In 1956 it was noted that he appeared at 342 shows. King continued to appear at 100 shows a year through the end of his career.

Over the years, King has developed one of the world's most identifiable guitar styles. He borrowed from Blind Lemon Jefferson, T-Bone Walker and others, integrating his precise and complex vocal-like string bends and his left hand vibrato, both of which have become indispensable components of rock guitarists' vocabulary. His economy and phrasing has been a model for thousands of players.

King has mixed blues, jazz, swing, mainstream pop and jump into a unique sound. In King's words,

"When I sing, I play in my mind; the minute I stop singing orally, I start to sing by playing Lucille."

Who They Gonna Blame In The Death Of Mississippi Cops?

Of course, we blame the shooter.

But in the blame game, the agitators would find some reason to attack the president. When American citizens are gunned down by callous individuals, the president comments on it. The president is passionate about the issues in America. He has a right to say whatever he wants. But for the agitators, no matter what he says, the agitators will dissect it and make it into some political blame game.

Today, we have a tragedy.

In the city of  Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the community is in mourning. Two officers were gunned down by callous murderers. The routine pull over on Saturday became a deadly situation.

A veteran officer and a first year officer were gunned down after one of the passengers open fire on them. Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 24 were the victims of this tragedy.

We here at World News Today send our condolences to the families of Hattiesburg officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate and NYPD officer Brian Moore.

The Jackson Clarion-Ledger reports that the suspects were quickly caught. They are facing charges for capital murder and obstruction of justice.

Marvin Banks, Joanie Calloway, and Curtis Banks were put in county lockup. Cornelius Clark was also busted in this crime.
Authorities arrested Curtis Banks, 26, and Marvin Banks, 29, and Joanie Calloway, 22, early Sunday morning. They were taken to Troop J of the Mississippi Highway Patrol, where they were to be questioned by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

Cornelius Clark in lockup.
Cornelius Clark, age unavailable, was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with obstruction of justice, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation spokesman Warren Strain said.

Marvin Banks and Calloway have been charged with two counts each of capital murder, and Curtis Banks is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to capital murder.

Marvis Banks was convicted of possession of stolen property in Forrest County in 2010, according to Mississippi Department of Corrections records. He was sentenced in November 2010 to one year and one day to serve, with four years of probation.

His probation was revoked, and he started a three-year sentence that ended in June 2012, when he was freed from custody on earned release supervision. That ended in May 2014.

Both Marvin and Curtis Banks were charged with the sale of crack cocaine in July 2013, according to Forrest County arrest records.

At this point, authorities are not discussing the motive. They said interviews with the suspects are ongoing. Toxicology tests are also pending.

Residents were very upset over this. Hattiesburg haven't seen a law enforcement officer killing in over 30 years.

"Never in my life have I experienced or seen anything like this except on TV, and to be in the midst of it, it's shocking and heartbreaking," Tamika Mills said. "As we were coming down Fourth Street, we noticed a bunch of lights. As we came on through, (Pearnell Roberts) told me to turn around because she saw somebody laying on the ground.

They heard the shooting and checked on the situation. They called 9-1-1.

"So I backed up. That's when we noticed the officer was down. We just saw that one, but in the course of me being on the phone with 9-1-1, I turned and I saw another officer across the street rolling on the ground. (Roberts) ran across the street to check on him. He wasn't all the way alert but he asked her, 'Am I dying? I know I'm dying. Just hand me my walkie-talkie.'"
This community is sadden by this. We are determined to bring those to justice. The words of Hattiesburg mayor Johnny DuPree are felt across the nation.
Hattiesburg Mayor Johnny DuPree spoke from the hospital after the shooting, asking for prayers and telling the public that the suspects would be found.

"The men and women who go out every day to protect us, the men and woman who go out every day to make sure that we're safe, they were turned on (Saturday) night," DuPree said during a brief news conference outside the hospital. "But the person or persons who did this are not safe in the City of Hattiesburg."

Multiple law enforcement agencies swarmed to the scene between Gordon Street and East Fourth Street, crisscrossing throughout the fringes of downtown.

Strain said the three are being held in different locations outside of Forrest County, which is routine in a situation like this.

Gov. Phil Bryant, a former law enforcement officer himself, commented on the deaths on Sunday morning.

"Deborah and I join all Mississippians this morning in mourning the death of our two police officers in Hattiesburg. This should remind us to thank all law enforcement for their unwavering service to protect and serve. May God keep them all in the hollow of his hand."

It is the first slaying of a Hattiesburg officer since Jackie Dole Sherrill was killed on New Year's Eve in 1984.

So Joanie Calloway, Cornelius Clark, Marvin and Curtis Banks were charged with capital murder and obstruction of justice. Mind you that the shooter and those associated are innocent until proven guilty.

In criminal law, even though the person who fired on law enforcement was the sole shooter, those who didn't stop the shooter, hid the shooter in the wake of a manhunt and aided the shooter's injuries instead of the victims are considered murderers. That's why there's three others involved.

They didn't stop the shooter. They aided the shooter. They treated the shooter's injuries and hid evidence. That's obstruction of justice. That's murder in the eyes of law enforcement.

But in the wake of two officers being killed, who are they really going to blame for the death of the lawmen?

Two Words: BARACK OBAMA.

You know in the wake of the Freddie Gray murder by law enforcement, the partisan agitators have sought to discredit the BlackLivesMatter movement. The agitators must find some tangent issue in America to discredit Freddie Gray, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and Tamir Rice.

Today, they find the death of two officers in Mississippi.
Fast food worker was fired out the cannon after she posted on her social media about the controversy. She praised the killers.

Nobody is calling for the killing of cops. Those in law enforcement must endure a daily routine where their lives are on the line 24/7. I don't condone the killing of law enforcement.

Never mind, a Subway restaurant worker from Laurel, Mississippi posted on the social media about it. She was happy that they were killed. She was let go after that posting. Some of her co-workers tipped off the bosses. And while she's entitled to her opinion, the junk food media will use this an excuse to discredit the peaceful protesters who call for justice against police brutality and more police training for those using firearms.

But we also need reasonable gun control as well. To prevent this from happening we need to look into how individuals obtain illegal firearms. We must shut the door on unregistered firearms.

Nobody is immune from the firearm.

Understand that the bullet has no eyes. It will always hit a target.

We point the fingers only at the shooter.

B.B. King On Dire Straights!

Legendary blues singer B.B. King is in dire straights. The family confirms he's in hospice care.

There's news of the blues legend B.B. King being interned into a hospice. The 89-year old blues icon has been fighting diabetes and an irregular heart for years. Now it seems like it's taken its toll.

His family and publicist confirms he's at home in Las Vegas. He's getting home care.

So we here at World News Today will keep you updated on the health of B.B. King.

Expect the junk food media to cover it as well as President Barack Obama.

CNN reports that King spent several days in the hospital in early April for dehydration caused by his Type II diabetes.

King has toured for decades, but has no upcoming concert dates listed on his website.

Known as "King of the Blues," the Mississippi native was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and has 30 Grammy nominations.
President Barack Obama gets an opportunity to jam with B.B. King.
Some of his hits include "The Thrill Is Gone," which won him his first Grammy in 1970, "There Must be a Better World Somewhere" and "When Love Comes to Town," a collaboration with U2.

B.B. King (born Riley B. King; September 16, 1925) is an American blues musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

High Five For The Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare)!

A moment in history could be stripped away if the Supreme Court rules against the Affordable Care Act. It celebrates five years and the Republicans are even more determined to repeal the law.

This is a big f--king deal, says Vice President Joe Biden when he was caught on the hot mic.

As the Supreme Court decides on the Affordable Care Act, the signature law of Barack Obama's presidency celebrates five years in action.

The Supreme Court could rule on the rule that deals with healthcare incentives. About 2/3 of the country haven't participated in healthcare incentives.

King v. Burwell is closed watched by observers. If the Justices side with the plaintiffs, then over 10 million people could lose their healthcare coverage. The conservative wing includes Chief Justice John Roberts, Anton Scalia, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Anthony Kennedy.

The liberal wing includes Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, Stephen Breyer, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Most of these decisions came down on 5-4 decisions with Kennedy or Roberts being the swing.

The challengers argue that the text of the ACA only allows for subsidies on state-run exchanges, and that the regulation as implemented by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), providing for subsidies on state-run exchanges as well as federal exchanges, exceeded the authority Congress granted to it. All of the "v. Burwell" cases were originally titled "v. Sebelius" until Kathleen Sebelius was replaced by Sylvia Mathews Burwell as United States Secretary of Health and Human Services. The Competitive Enterprise Institute is providing support for the challengers, including financial support for the King plaintiffs' challenge.

Timothy Jost, a health law professor at the Washington and Lee University School of Law, has written that if the challenge is successful, approximately 5 million Americans who obtained coverage through federal exchanges could lose their tax credits and, in all likelihood, their health insurance coverage. According to Jost, the individual mandate, employer mandate, and tax credits for employers to provide health-insurance coverage might also be overturned in states with federal exchanges. However, insurers would likely still be required to cover all applicants regardless of pre-existing conditions, which could destabilize the insurance market in states with federal exchanges and lead to rapid rises in premiums and the possible collapse of the insurance market in those states.

The Urban Institute estimated that a decision in favor of King would result in 8.2 million more uninsured people in 34 states.

Only 14 states have set up their own exchanges.

If the mandates and subsidies are struck down in the other 36 states, many think that the economic foundation of the ACA would be undermined, putting the entirety of the legislation at risk.

Supporters of the plaintiffs, as well as some politicians, argue that the effects of striking down the mandates and subsidies would be mitigated by government action (including the possibility of states setting up their own exchanges in response to a ruling in favor of the plaintiffs).

The highly contested law has been the Republican Party's fixation for the last six years. They've tried and failed to repeal the law. They've tried to repeal the law over 55 times.

It's funny though. For every attempt to repeal the law, Obamacare, as its called by the junk food media continues to enroll millions of Americans. They couldn't repeal in Congress, so they've taken it to court and hope the Justices could strike it down.

This obsession with repealing Obamacare is one of the themes of Stallmigo Ted Cruz (R-TX).

He is the first declared clown for the Republican nomination.

By law, you must enroll for health insurance or face a penalty on your taxes. The federal government offers reasonable health insurance through their exchanges. The Healthcare Marketplace is officially on after a year of delay. It's operational and offering the best coverage for those who can't afford the national brands.

FBI Involved In Mississippi Man's Hanging!

Something is strange. What happened when the law discovered Otis Byrd hanging from a tree?

The state of Mississippi is rocked by the past. Otis Byrd, former convict was found in the woods hanging by a tree. The FBI are looking into this tragedy. Some on the racist right assume its a suicide while others believe it could be the work of extremists.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Otis Byrd.

The FBI and local police fear that his death could stroke racial tension in the tiny town of Port Gibson.

Those unwanted circumstances could be extremists such as the Klan.

The AP reporting that law is looking into the last places that Otis went to. One of those places was a casino. The Riverwalk Casino is located in Vicksburg about 14 miles from Port Gibson.

About 30 local, state, and federal authorities are on the ground. They are actively determining if this was a hate crime.

"Everybody wants answers and wants them quickly. We understand that," FBI Special Agent Don Alway told a crowd outside the Claiborne County Courthouse. "We are going to hold off on coming to any conclusions until the facts take us to a definitive answer."

The county coroner confirmed that the man found hanging from a white sheet Thursday was Otis Byrd, an ex-convict reported missing by his family more than two weeks ago. Byrd lived just 200 yards from the spot where his body was found, in a wooded area off a dirt road that ran behind his house.

Alway said investigators are interviewing Byrd's family and friends and searching his rental home and a storage unit for clues, and will not reveal any evidence along the way.

"We are trying to paint a picture of Byrd's life. We are trying to find out what was going on with him personally and professionally," he said.

Claiborne County Sheriff Marvin Lucas Sr. told The Associated Press earlier Friday that Byrd did not appear to have stepped off of anything in the area where he was found hanging from a tree limb about 12 feet high. His feet were dangling about two feet off the ground, and his hands were not bound, Lucas said.

"Life matters," Lucas told the crowd. "I commit to you, as the sheriff of Claiborne County, that I will not allow the shadows of the past to cast a shadow on the future."

The results of an autopsy by the Mississippi Crime Lab could take days; investigators expect to have preliminary information about the cause of death next week, Alway said. Byrd's body was released Friday to Rollins Funeral Home in Port Gibson, said Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain. An employee at Rollins said funeral arrangements will be made early next week.
Riverwalk Casino is located near Vicksburg.
Byrd worked on offshore oil rigs and enjoyed gambling in casinos in his off time after getting out of prison, where he served 26 years for fatally shooting a woman while robbing $101 from her convenience store in 1980.

He wasn't the type to commit suicide, friends and family said.

"He tried to turn his life around. He was going to church every Sunday," said his stepsister, Tracy Wilson. "Anybody could have done this. I just don't see him doing it to himself."

Lora McDaniel, a high school classmate who went to church with Byrd and his family, said "he always had a smile on his face. I just can't see him committing suicide."

"He was a quiet man. He didn't bother nobody," added Anita Smith, another high school classmate. "He had been out nine years and all of the sudden this happens to him? Impossible."

Smith said she is planning to participate in a march Monday in Port Gibson to protest Byrd's death.

Mississippi NAACP President Derrick Johnson suggested that it's too early for that.

"We do not want to rush to judgment. We just want to make sure there's a thorough federal, state and local investigation," Johnson said.

The hanging is being investigated by the FBI, the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the United States Attorney's office as well as the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation. These officials are on the scene to determine if it's a potential hate crime or other violation of federal law, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said.

Video surveillance was recovered showing Byrd at the Riverwalk Casino on March 2, Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong said.
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) is calling upon the FBI to investigate this horrible tragedy.
"We didn't see anything of significance on the tape. He was just walking around the casino. We did not see him after that," Armstrong said.

Claiborne County sits on the bluffs of the Mississippi River, with Natchez to the south and Vicksburg to the north. A sign leading into Port Gibson, the county seat, says Union Gen. Ulysses S. Grant declared the town "too beautiful to burn" during the Civil War. About 85 percent of the county's 9,250 residents are African-American.

Signs hanging above the main street say "Port Gibson. A Real Life Postcard." The town still boasts several stately, columned mansions that are either private homes or bed-and-breakfast inns, but is mostly dotted with modest houses and trailers in states of disrepair.

Port Gibson is in the district of U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, a Democrat and the only black member of Mississippi's congressional delegation. He issued a statement calling on the government to use "every resource available to bring swift justice" if foul play was involved.

"Given the history of the state, it is unavoidable that the hanging of a black man in Mississippi justifiably engenders deeply raw emotions," Thompson said.
