Debbie Reynolds Passed Away!

Debbie Reynolds passed away. Carrie Fisher, her daughter passed away yesterday.

BREAKING....

Not long after Carrie Fisher passed away, her mother, legendary actress Debbie Reynolds passed away. One day after the news broke. I am truly saddened by this latest event. This broke around 4pm.

This is a shocking moment in American history.

Carrie Fisher was best known for being Princess Leia Organa in the Star Wars franchise. She was in London reprising her role. When she was heading back to the United States, she would be unconscious on a plane flight.

She was rushed to the hospital for cardiac arrest. She would pass away on Tuesday. Not long after the news broke, her mother, Debbie Reynolds issued a statement saying that she was heartbroken and torn by the lost of her daughter.

Now the family confirmed that Debbie had a stroke and didn't recover from it. She was 84 years old.

TMZ reported that she was hospitalized for the emergency at Cedar-Sinai Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 11am.

Todd Fisher spoke on behalf of the family.

"She wanted to be with Carrie.", he said to the junk food media.

Born Mary Frances Reynolds in El Paso, Texas, she grew up without a father. She would strive for success in acting. She would get a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Helen Kane in the move "Three Little Words." But the movie "Singin' in the Rain" made her a legend of Hollywood.

Other notable successes include The Affairs of Dobie Gillis (1953), Susan Slept Here (1954), Bundle of Joy (1956 Golden Globe nomination), The Catered Affair (1956 National Board of Review Best Supporting Actress Winner), and Tammy and the Bachelor (1957), in which her rendering of the song "Tammy" reached number one on the music charts. In 1959, she released her first pop music album, entitled Debbie.

She starred in How the West Was Won (1963), and The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964), a biographical film about the famously boisterous Molly Brown. Her performance as Molly Brown earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Her other notable films include The Singing Nun (1966), Divorce American Style (1967), What's the Matter with Helen? (1971), Mother (1996 Golden Globe nomination), and In & Out (1997). Reynolds was also a noted cabaret performer. In 1979 she founded the Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio in North Hollywood, which still operates today.

In 1973 Reynolds starred in a Broadway revival of the musical Irene and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Musical. In 1969 she starred in her own television show The Debbie Reynolds Show, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. She was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance in A Gift of Love (1999) and an Emmy Award for playing Grace's mother Bobbi on Will & Grace. At the turn of the millennium, Reynolds reached a new younger generation with her role as Aggie Cromwell in Disney's Halloweentown series. In 1988 she released her autobiography titled, Debbie: My Life. In 2013, she released an updated version titled Unsinkable: A Memoir.

Reynolds was a noted businesswoman, having operated her own hotel in Las Vegas. She was also a collector of film memorabilia, beginning with the landmark 1970 MGM auction. She was the former president of The Thalians, an organization dedicated to mental health causes. Reynolds continued to perform successfully on stage, television, and film into her eighties. In January 2015, Reynolds received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. In August 2015, it was announced Reynolds would be the recipient of the 2016 Academy Awards Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.[4] In 2016, a documentary about her life was released titled Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.

She was married three times. She married pop singer Eddie Fisher in 1955, with whom she had two children with. Carrie and Todd were the children. She also married business executive Harry Karl for a while. She would also marry a real estate developer named Richard Hamlett before divorcing him.

Carrie did blame her mother for her turmoils. She claimed that her mother's cold reputation led her to drugs, alcohol and depression. They had a fallout for nearly a decade. Debbie did at least make peace with Carrie before their passings.

They reunited and decided to work together on projects.

Reynolds was survived by her son and her granddaughter, Billie Lourd.

Shocking stuff in the entertainment world.

Gwen Ifill Passed Away!

Gwen Ifill, the host of PBS Newshour and Washington Week passed away.

We've lost a legend.

Gwen Ifill, the host of PBS NewsHour had passed away today of cancer. She was 61 years old. A remarkable woman of color who covered Washington, DC like no other. She was at the forefront of a journalism vanguard as a Black woman in a field dominated by white men.

She co-hosted NewsHour with Judy Woodruff and broke ground by being an all-female anchor team on a network nightly news.

Gwen was the daughter of Caribbean immigrants. She wanted to cover the news since the younger ages. She was a native of New York City. She grew up in Jamaica, Queens. She was the fifth of six children.

She was the host of Washington Week and worked both positions. She had an opportunity to gain national recognition as a debate moderator.

She hosted two vice presidential debates. She hosted the 2004 debate between then Vice President Dick Cheney and then senator John Edwards. She also had an opportunity to host the 2008 debate between then senator Joe Biden and then Alaskan governor Sarah Palin.

Back in 2007, bigot talker Don Imus was caught up in scandal where he called the Rutgers women's basketball team a bunch of "nappy headed hos". He called Gwen Ifill the "cleaning lady".

She handled this with such class.

She had covered the White House and Congress and was praised from both sides of the political aisle.

She took a month long leave from PBS without disclosing her medical condition. I am guessing she had terminal uterine cancer.

President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence came out with condolences today.

What Drove This Terrorist To Kill?

A terrorist murdered three Louisiana cops. The blame game continues.

The junk food media released the names of the victims of yesterday's mass shooting in Baton Rouge.

The victims were fathers, husbands, sons and members of law enforcement.

Two city officers and one parish deputy were killed when this terrorist from Kansas City, Missouri drove down to the city to retaliate for the death of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

The law was dispatched to an area close to beauty store where there was a man dressed in Black holding a firearm. When they came to the area to confront the man, he ambushed the officers. Six officers were wounded. Three would die of there injures. The threat was taken down.

Montrell Jackson, 32 was a father of a young baby. He served for the city for nearly a decade. He left an heartfelt message on social media about how Black Americans anger towards his fellow officers. He agreed that Alton Sterling didn't have to be brutalized like that. He asked protesters to have calm and he was willing to give hugs to those in need of one.

Matthew Gerald, 41 was a first year officer who serve a tour of duty for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.  He was the father of two and was about to get off his normal shift when all this drama occurred.

Brad Garafola, 45 was a twenty year member of the East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff department. He was the father of four who served the community during his down time. He was supposed to be scheduled for his paid vacation. His family released a statement condemning the terrorist and thanking the community for showing love and compassion.

These men were doing their jobs by running towards the danger and made the sacrifice for the community. The city of Baton Rouge and the nation is griping with this.

President Barack Obama spoke to the junk food media to express condolences to the families of the victims.  He expressed outrage about how those with mental issues were able to obtain firearms so easily. He also asked the blame first agitators and Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence to dial back the rhetoric. He addressed the need to blame others for the acts of one. He ordered flags to be lowered again. He will likely head to Louisiana to speak at the funeral. He made calls to Governor John Bel Edwards, the mayor of Baton Rouge Kip Holden and top brass of the city and county.

The president ordered Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson to use all their resources to help the city. Hr called on FBI director James Comey to investigate the rise of extremism. He ordered for a report on infiltration of white extremists in the law enforcement.  He also is going after Black extremists who threatened those in law enforcement.

Everything he does is being ignored. After all, Congress will not pass a semi automatic weapons ban. They will never pass a comprehensive background check to keep firearms out the reach of terrorists. Republican lawmakers in Congress will always be first to blame the president and #BlackLivesMatterfor fanning the flames of hate towards police. Instead of passing laws, Republicans flex the only muscle they use: their goddamn tongues.

They will not head to the cries of families of gun violence. They will continue to offer prayers and silence. They will continue to push the narrative that they're unequivocally supportive of the Second Amendment. The NRA will find some way to blame Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for this.

As usual, the regulars who spread the word vomit of division appeared on television and radio to blaming Obama for the actions of the shooter.

Terrorist had ties to the sovereign citizen movement.  He was frustrated with cops getting away with murder.
Sheriff David Clarke, loudmouth Bill Cunningham and Sean "Softball" Hannity automatically went into their talking points.

CNN's Don Lemon and Clarke got into a heated exchange over #BlackLivesMatter being responsible for the actions of this terrorist. Clarke boldly said that Black protesters are the real threat to the country.

Softball Hannity had his show on Sunday and it was another pitiful screamfest.

On his right wing carnival, he puts on Geraldo Rivera, Larry Elder and numerous agitators to blame Obama and offer no reasonable solutions to stop mass shootings.

Okay, I've delayed my response to this terrorist. His name is Gavin Eugene Long. He is a former Marine with sniper training. The 29 year old man is from Kansas City. The terrorist rented a vehicle to deliberately head to Baton Rouge to ambush law enforcement.

He was posting on social media his frustration with the junk food media and police officers failing to be convicted in fatal shootings of unarmed or legally aĺlowed men of color.

He may have ties to the sovereign citizen movement.

The terrorist was killed on birthday. He was armed heavily.

The junk food media also led into speculation yet again. The junk food media found an image of a black man and published on social media claiming it was the terrorist. They were assuming the terrorist had accomplices. They had the city on alert for hours believing they were more threats. It was the act of one man who had legal rights to obtain firearms.

Notice that Black men with firearms spook Republicans and conservative agitators. The New Black Panthers are in Cleveland at the Republican National Convention and they said that they will use their Second Amendment right.

The food media also went into this partisan nonsense about how these cop killings are affecting Trump and Clinton in the national polls.

Never a dull moment.

World News Today send our condolences to the families of those lost in these senseless tragedies.

Conservative Outrage Over Larry Wilmore's "My N***a" Obama!

I guess they didn't get it. On the conservative Craiglist, you see CNN's Don Lemon raising the third digit at the harsh jokes Larry Wilmore threw at the network and especially him.

“America's finest black journalists in the house. Don Lemon is here, too!”

Wilmore is the host of Comedy Central's The Nightly Show. He talks passionately about issues in Black America with a twist.

Wilmore sealed the deal. Brutally honest and right to the point. The White House Correspondents' Dinner was the final event that President Barack Obama will attend.

In his final year, the president gets one more opportunity to jab the press.

And then the comedian gets an opportunity to go after the president and the press.

Cue the conservative outrage.

Okay, Larry Wilmore was good. I mean he was really good! He brutally hit the junk food media so hard there were jeers from some. He had the most hard line jokes on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC.
Wilmore goes after conservatives when they complain about President Barack Obama using the race card.
When the comedian said that's "my Nigga" Obama, the audience gasped and of course conservatives lashed out as usual. They also got riled up over the joke where he called Ben Carson a jiggaboo.

“Your hair is so white, it tried to punch me at a Trump rally,” Wilmore joked. “The president’s hair is so white it keeps saying ‘All Lives Matter.’” Then, he added, “All I’m saying is that in less than eight years, Mr. President, you've busted two time-honored stereotypes, black does crack, and apparently once you go black, it looks like we are going back. Thanks, Ben Carson.”

He made fun of Wolf Blitzer's The Situation Room and how the CNN projection board and clock was too much.

He made fun of Fox News and their obsession with trying stifle #BlackLivesMatter. He also clowned on the network for being riled up over Black leaders and Harriet Tubman being on the $20 bill.
Obama drops the mic like a boss.
He made fun of MSNBC having Black hosts shafted around. In the wake of Melissa Harris-Perry and Al Sharpton drama, he mentions Chris Hayes and Lawrence O'Donnell's frustration with the network pre-empting their shows.

You know that Todd Sternes went ballistic over this. Breitbart went nuts. Conservatives were screaming racism when Wilmore went there.

I mean going there is a part of comedy.

Wilmore skerred Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. He didn't have much to say about John Kasich.

via GIPHY

Wilmore saying NIGGA wasn't racism. Wilmore isn't racist.

Conservatives aren't funny. Well Donald Trump is funny because he's extremely stupid and ignorant.

Wilmore ends the ceremony on a high note. If you missed the ball, you can view it again on the White House website or YouTube.

Joy Reid Back On MSNBC!

Joy Ann Reid is back on MSNBC.
Looks like Melissa Harris-Perry ended up with pie on her face. Her friend Joy Reid now holds the spot for weekend programming on MSNBC. She will replace Harris Perry for the 10am-12pm slot.

Joy Reid was hosting a show during the 3pm-4pm weekdays slot. Reid had previously hosted the weekday daytime show, The Reid Report which was canceled in September. She was bumped for Brian Williams, the disgraced NBC News anchor who hosted The Nightly News. Reid didn't get mad she lost her gig. She went forth and earned praise for her coverage of the primaries and was rewarded with a time slot again.

Phil Griffin loved how Joy handled the program during the primaries.

When Melissa Harris-Perry made her infamous letter saying that Nerdland (known as Melissa Harris-Perry) was being canned for political coverage, I was shocked. MSNBC fired her out the cannon after the rant went viral.

I was thinking that MSNBC was sidelining one of the best talents on the liberal leaning network.

Joy was thankful to MSNBC and her former. She vowed to continue the discussions that Melissa Harris-Perry brought to the forefront.

Joy Reid filled in for Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes and Lawrence O'Donnell during their time off.

Congratulations to Joy Ann Reid. World News Today wishes her well on her journey.

G-O-Dweebs Debate In M.I.A.!

Another damn debate and the four dweebs continue to scrap over who's better than Hillary Clinton.

The Republican debate being hosted by CNN, Univision, The Salem Radio Network and Washington Times. The four candidates are in Miami doing their final stand before Super Duper Tuesday.

Florida and Ohio are big states and the prizes are so sweet. These are winner take all states and it's going to be an ugly fight for Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Marco Rubio.

Today, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) became the first U.S. Senator to endorse Ted Cruz for president. He came out for Cruz after the junk food media was wondering who Lee would turn to. Failed presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has also came out and endorsed Cruz. Conservative agitator Mark Levin once again said that Ted Cruz is the "most conservative" candidate in this race. He finally decided to endorse the Republican for president.

Cruz is trailing by 100 delegates against Trump. Trump's three wins has increased his lead. Trump has 1/3 of the delegates in the bag.

Then the biggest endorsement for Donald Trump, the failed presidential candidate Ben Carson will endorse the billionaire on Friday at an event. The former neurosurgeon blames Cruz for ruining his chances at winning the election.

Also there's news of a Trump supporter sucker punching a protester at an event.

Ohio's governor John Kasich has to make a message that he is the adult in the room. Ohio is extremely competitive for him. He's leading in one poll which is giving him an ounce of hope for his struggling campaign.  Trump is leading by 5 points or higher in Ohio.

In Florida, Marco Rubio is desperate for a huge win. Trump and Cruz have called for Rubio to drop out and endorse one of them. Rubio refuses to drop out and he's planning on going even harder on them.

Many Republicans fear that Trump and Cruz could drive crucial voters from their party with their nationalist and rigid rhetoric.

The Florida senator has the most to lose.

If the struggling candidates fails at winning Florida or Ohio, it may be over for the Rubio and Kasich.

Quick Poll.

Allen Toussaint Passed Away!

AllenToussaintFeb07.jpg
The legendary Allen Toussaint passed away.

The world of jazz and blues loses another legend. The great blues player Allen Toussaint passed away of an apparent heart attack while performing in Madrid, Spain.

He was an American musician, songwriter/composer, record producer, and influential figure in New Orleans R&B.

Many of Toussaint's songs became familiar through versions by other musicians, including "Working in the Coal Mine", "Ride Your Pony", "Fortune Teller", "Play Something Sweet", "Southern Nights", "Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky", "I'll Take a Melody", "Get Out of My Life, Woman" and "Mother-in-Law".

Toussaint, 77, had been touring in Madrid, Clarence Toussaint said in the statement.

Artists in nearly every major genre recorded Toussaint's songs or collaborated with him, including the Rolling Stones, the Yardbirds, Herb Alpert, Glenn Campbell, Robert Palmer and Alison Kraus and Elvis Costello.

His music, often by way of his house band The Meters, was also widely sampled by hip-hop artists such as Amerie, Public Enemy and N.W.A.
President Barack Obama shakes hands with Allen Toussaint at the 2012 Medal of Honor induction.
"I don't want y'all thinkin' 'this is just some old legend that passed away' naw," Questlove, founding member of the hip-hop group The Roots, wrote on Instagram. "This dude wrote some of your favorite music & you just didn't know it."

Toussaint's influence is woven through popular music and hip-hop, he wrote.

"At least 12 'Get Out My Life Woman' snares were like starch in hip hop's daily nutritional chart -- meaning so there you barely notice it," Questlove wrote.

British singer Billy Bragg also lamented Toussaint's death on Twitter.

"The man was a genius," he said.

Toussaint also was a well-regarded performer in his own right. His 2012 jazz album, "The Bright Mississippi," showcased "what an idiosyncratic, inventive instrumentalist he is," Allmusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote at the time.

Toussaint opened a recording studio, Sea-Saint, in 1973 with partner Marshall Sehorn and operated his own record label.

Artists including Dr. John, the Neville Brothers, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Robert Palmer and Labelle recorded at the studio, according to Toussaint's biography for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, into which he was inducted in 1998.

After Hurricane Katrina destroyed his studio in New Orleans, he relocated to New York, according to his biography, and began a resurgent career as a live performer that continued to his death.

"After his hometown was battered by Katrina and Allen was forced to evacuate, he did something even more important for his city: He went back," President Barack Obama said in 2012 in awarding Toussaint a National Medal of the Arts. "And since then, Allen has devoted his musical talent to lifting up and building up a city."

Fans Of The View Call For Cannon Fire!

Calls for a cannon fire plague entertainer Raven-Symone.

One too many slips now has the former child star facing a backlash.

Raven-Symone (Pearman) started co-hosting The View in April. She was formally introduced to the program during the Fall season. Now six months in, many fans of the daytime talk show are calling for her removal.

In the wake of Officer Slam, the entertainer said the cop went out of line when did his take down of the teen. However, she slammed the teen for not listening to the cop.

She basically said that the teen should have put her damn phone up.

Officer Slam (formerly known as Ben Fields) was fired out the cannon last week.

I've heard a handful of students weren't happy about his cannon fire. The conservative agitators were promoting the counter-protest. Some students walked out of class in support of the now former South Carolina deputy for the Richland County sheriff's department.

There's a petition calling for ABC to fire the entertainer out the cannon. So far they see the entertainer as a goldmine. They consider her the Black version of Rosie O'Donnell.

The five most outrageous comments.

1) Defending Officer Slam
2) Watermelondrea
3) I'm A Celebrity And I Take Selifes
4) Defending a Spanish host after he called First Lady Michelle Obama an "ape"
5) $20 Harriett Tubman

On Change.org, there's a petition calling for a cannon fire. So far over 135,000 people signed on to the petition. I am guessing that Raven-Symone signed it too as a middle finger to those who want to throw "political correctness" around.

Che Scott-Heron, the U.K. woman who started the petition, wrote on the petition's website that Raven's statements only hurt the black community.

"African Americans and black people around the diaspora need a voice representative of their views and not a voice representative of what white people want us to say." Heron wrote. "We need strong black role models in prominent positions on television and Raven-Symoné cannot provide that. That is why I ask that we petition to remove her from 'The View.'"

As the daytime talk show enters its 19th season, ratings are down. CBS daytime's The Talk enters its 6th season within striking distance of The View. The second quarter ratings bested The View.

By the way, the third worst person to host a cable news show got a petition calling for his cannon fire. Don Lemon also faced a backlash after he got a kick out watching Officer Slam flipping the teen.

Don Lemon Got A Kick Out Of Teen Being Flipped By Cop!

Don Lemon gets into a heated confrontation with Sonny Hostin on CNN. They debate the now viral video of a young girl being flung around by South Carolina cop in a school classroom.

The now viral video of South Carolina Deputy Ben Fields flipping a teen in the classroom of a suburban Columbia school has the nation talking.

#BlackLivesMatter once again brings to light the unfair treatment of unarmed citizens and law enforcement. This issue bring concerns of Blacks being brutalized or killed while in police custody.

The Richland County Sheriff's department iced Fields pending either discipline or criminal misconduct charges. The FBI and South Carolina state authorities are considering possible civil right violations against Fields.

Fields got him a lawyer and a police union who is willing to back up the claim that the teen didn't act right from the jump. The person who filmed the encounter didn't get the whole story.

CNN, MSNBC and that right wing network are covering the controversy in their usual partisan fashion. Some commentators are supportive of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. They are outraged that the officer who has a history is still on the force.

Then of course the #AllLivesMatter crowd. The concern trolls who are often siding with the law regardless of misconduct or reckless call. These networks continuie bringing on commentators who often believe that the actions were justified.

Take that asshole Milwaukee sheriff David Clarke, Jr. He's been on that right wing network more than he's been in his office in Milwaukee. The conservatives seem to rely on this buffoon for commentary. This Black lawman often expresses outrageous comments towards Black America.

Some of his comments are half-true or deliberately biased. The racist right eats this stuff for breakfast. They find these coons to air out our problems while failing to address the rise in heroin and human trafficking. None of these coons talk about gun crime in America. It's always Black on Black violence and negligent parenting.

Enter the next buffoon in the media. The third most hated agitator in cable news, Don Lemon.

Don Lemon comes in third place. He, Ronan Farrow and that annoying conservative agitator are the worst in cable news. They are often panned along with Rev. Perm for being just plain awful.

That annoying conservative agitator and Rev. Perm were demoted. Farrow was kicked off the 3pm spot on MSNBC. Don Lemon was promoted to the struggling 9pm slot on CNN.

He seems to get a kick out of law enforcement brutalizing citizens. On the Situation Room, Wolf Blitzer, Tom Fuentes and Sunny Hostin were debating this with Lemon.

Lemon made a comment that seems to attract Mediaite.

“It does look disturbing,” said the CNN anchor. “The part that is most disturbing to me is seeing her thrown around. As far as the desk going over, I don’t know if the desk fell over because she didn’t want to get up or if he pushed it over. I don’t know. I think there’s context to everything. I would like to see what happens before and I would like to see what happened afterwards… It does look horrible. It does look like there’s no excuse for what he’s doing to her, but again, we don’t know… This only show a small slice in time of what happened. I’d like to know more before passing judgment.”

That got Sunny Hostin out of her seat. She wanted to reach across the set and slap the shit out of Lemon. Figuratively speaking of course.

“Are you guys kidding me?” said Hostin.
Deputy Ben Fields may want to consider a new line of work.
Lemon and Hostin took turns yelling at and interrupting one another.

“No, we’re not kidding. We don’t know what happened,” said Lemon. “You weren’t sitting in the room, Sunny. You don’t know if she wasn’t standing up!”

“I don’t need to know more,” Hostin retorted, to which Lemon said: “You do need to know more! As a prosecutor, you should want to know more.”

“This is a young girl!” she shouted, emphasizing the girl’s age in comparison to the school resource officer.

Lemon persisted, noting that all the facts should be sought out and analyzed before passing judgment on the situation. Fuentes and Blitzer didn’t say anything throughout the exchange, though they mostly agreed in their own comments. Hostin, however, never relented until the show host interrupted the segment to show a second video.

Regardless of how this situation happened, would you want your child or you tossed around like that?

FBI chief James Comey also lit up a shit storm by saying that recording misconduct by law enforcement makes it harder for them to do their jobs. Comey believes the "Ferguson Effect" has made the law lack the effort to combat real criminal activity.

The White House shot back saying that Comey's comments were ridiculous.

Democrats Are Trying Not To Bore Voters!

Five Democratic candidates are running for the nomination. Will Hillary Clinton have a chance to break out of the slump?

I didn't get a full opportunity to watch the whole debate, but I've heard it was interesting.

The CNN/Facebook Democratic Debate was held in Las Vegas tonight. The debate set the stage for the five declared candidates who figure they'll have to face the Republican who makes it out of the clown car.

Hillary Clinton, Jim Webb, Lincoln Chafee, Martin O'Malley and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had an opportunity to debate the issues. They all agree they're better than the Republicans and they are pretty damn tired of hearing about missing emails.

Clearly this was Hillary Clinton's night. Bernie had an opportunity to weigh in on his stances.

Jim Webb wanted to be the alternative to the Democrats. He complained about not getting many opportunities to speak.

Lincoln Chafee also had an opportunity to say he's a Democrat. He wanted to make sure that he didn't get left out in this debate.

Martin O'Malley is one boring guy. He was pissed at Democratic chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) for cutting the debates to six and limiting funds to candidates. I believe he became the biggest loser of the night.

Nevertheless, Vice President Joe Biden didn't declare his intentions to run. I have this feeling that he's not interested in the White House. Dealing with a stubborn Congress and the loss of his son may have kept him on the sidelines.

Of course the debate wasn't as big as the Republicans. No DONALD TRUMP.

It's pretty clear that Democrats are trying to be focused on issues. Although some of the candidates did have an opportunity to strike at one another.

I can honestly say that the debate was a  dud. They are weak candidates.

The Republicans are weak. But they're more stronger than the Democrats.

The debate may pull in 6.9 million viewers.

Kentucky Clerk Heads To Federal Time Out For Denying Marriage Licences!

Kim Davis
County clerk sent to federal time out for defying court order.

Kim Davis is a Rowan County, Kentucky clerk. She is an elected Democrat who runs the county records. She is the focal point of a big controversy in the coal country. She will face federal time out for defying a court order on the matter.

Davis is standing on her moral grounds to deny marriage licenses to couples because she doesn't support gay marriage.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in the Obergefell v. Hodges decision. This historical decision grants marriage equality to every state and territory in the United States. Every marriage bans imposed by states are null and void.

Gay couples have the right to marriage as the straight couples.

Davis is stubbornly and boldly denying four gay couples and three straight couples marriage licenses.

The ACLU took it to federal court. Davis aided by the extremist Liberty Counsel have argued that her moral stances should grant her some legal immunity against issuing licenses.

Democrat Governor Steve Beshear gave up the fight on his state ban. He actually is ordering all state clerks to issue licenses. He ordered her to do so. She refused.

Davis went to the Supreme Court for a writ of delay. That was denied. The U.S. Federal Court in Ashland ordered an immediate issuing of licenses to the couples. She refused.

So today, she got served up.

Davis is ordered to the county lockup for the time being for defying the court of law. As she tearfully is hauled off, she tells jackass Todd Starnes that she is willing to "die" for her Christian beliefs.

That means she's becoming a martyr for the racist right.

Woman Who Slammed Black Lives Matter Goes Viral!

(Facebook)
The racist right fawn over a Black woman who rants about Black Lives Matter.

The racist right is in full troll mode.

Peggy Hubbard is the newest toy for the racist right. This woman got some airtime after she posted a rant about Black Lives Matter. The woman would slam the group for ignoring Black-on-whatever crime.

Heavy reports the new found fame Hubburd got on the social media to rant about how the Black Lives Matter activists found outrage for a "thug" instead of an innocent young girl.

Hubbard was a native of Ferguson, Missouri, but now lives in Rockville, Illinois. According to her Facebook page, she’s a Navy veteran who has since retired from working at the IRS. She’s shown on social media to be a motorcycle enthusiast, her photos show her at events featuring bikers and the confederate flag.
Jamyla Bolden was gunned down by a stray bullet in Ferguson.
She was upset over the killing of Jamyla Bolden, a 9-year old girl who was killed in Ferguson. The junk food media claims that she was a victim of the bullet with no eyes. A drive-by in her neighborhood. The bullet flew through her home and striking her while she was doing her homework.

Many residents came out to show solidarity and outrage to the death of the innocent young girl.

What inspired Hubbard to post a video?

She claimed that Black Lives Matter was more interested in the shooting of an alleged suspect Mansur Ball-Bey. The protest came after allegations of the law shooting that man in the back after he was fired at them.

Ferguson and St. Louis Police are under federal investigation for allegations of police brutality.

The residents have long complained about the law roughing them up for years. Some have turned their back on the law when it comes to aiding them when a crime occurs.
Mansur Ball-Bey was gunned down by the law after they claimed he pointed a firearm at them.
Last night, who do you think they protested for? The thug. The criminal. Because they’re hollering police brutality. Are you fucking kidding me? Police brutality? How about black brutality. You black people, my black people, you are the most violent motherfuckers I have ever seen in my life.

You’re hollering this ‘black lives matter’ bullshit. It don’t matter. You’re killing each other. White people don’t care … You’re shooting at the police. They drop your ass. ‘Oh, he died due to police brutality.’ 327 homicides later y’all want to holler police brutality? Black people, you’re a fucking joke. You’re tearing up communities over thugs and criminals.

Hubbard’s cause has been picked up by several media outlets, notably conservative outpost The Blaze. On the night of August 24, she appeared on CNN with Anderson Cooper.

Of course, this gets airplay.

Many in the racist right were cheering this on. Matter of fact, Don Lemon was so eager to have Hubbard on to explain her rant.

Lemon clarified that Black Lives Matter attended the event. He also read some responses from critics and supporters of the rant. She responds back to her critics by using these words, "Bite Me".

Black Lives Matter also responded back to her through social media.

Here's an example of the racist right supporting Peggy Hubbard

Subway Spokesman's Home Raided In Child Porn Case!

TV icon Jared Fogle under investigation for child porn.

Jared Fogle lives outside of Indianapolis. He and his family didn't expect a "NO KNOCK" at 6am.

The spokesman for fast food giant Subway had his home raided this morning. Fogle became the face of Subway after his friend published the story of a 6'2'' 425 lb. Indiana University freshman taking action on his weight. Jared would visit the local Subway in his apartment building. He would take motives to lose the fat and stands proudly at 200 lbs.

Now you can say that he's lost his $$$$$$$ gig. Apparently he's been fired out the cannon.

He has been active in recruiting kids, athletes and entertainers in the Subway Challenge.

Subway restaurants are located within the United States, Canada, and 108 other countries.

I swear on my life, there's a Subway Restaurant within two blocks of one another. There are over 44,000 restaurants. You find the United States either in Walmart, a gas station, a truck stops, shopping malls, stand alone stores, college campuses, cruise ships, airports, and military bases.

My god, there everywhere.

He and his former business partner are under investigation for harboring child porn.

Subway had put the brakes on Jared for the time being.

The FBI raided the Zionsville home in the early. The 37 year old pitchman for the fast food giant is facing controversy over allegedly harboring child pornography. The investigation centered around Russell Taylor, a former business partner for The Jared Foundation, an organization devoted to ending childhood obesity. Taylor is already in the county lockup awaiting trial. He was busted two months ago for harboring porn.

Taylor tried to put the bed sheets over his neck but failed when correction guards got to him. Now on suicide watch, Taylor is spilling the beans. He is fingering Fogle as the ringleader.

So of course, that's why the NO KNOCK came.

Officials at Subway's Milford, Conn., corporate headquarters issued a statement expressing shock about the search.

“We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee," the statement read. "We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely. We don’t have any more details at this point.”

The Indianapolis Star and the AP report that the controversy may have damaged Fogle's legacy.

Subway said in a statement that it is "very concerned" about the raid, which it believes "is related to a prior investigation" of a former employee of the Jared Foundation, an organization founded by Fogle to raise awareness about childhood obesity. Subway did not immediately say whether that employee was former foundation executive director Russell Taylor.

The company had removed references to Fogle from its website by late afternoon and issued another statement, saying the two "have mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation."

"Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming," the company said. "Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take."

Federal prosecutors in May filed a criminal complaint charging Taylor, 43, with seven counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. Fogle issued a statement after the charges were filed saying he was shocked by the allegations and was severing all ties with Taylor.

The Indianapolis Star photographed Fogle stepping out of a police evidence van parked outside his home Tuesday morning, and he left the house just after noon with attorney Ron Elberger. Fogle declined to comment, but Elberger later released a statement saying his client is cooperating with authorities.

"Jared has been cooperating, and continues to cooperate, with law enforcement in their investigation of unspecified charges, and looks forward to its conclusion," Elberger said.

During a search of Taylor's home this spring, federal investigators say they discovered a cache of sexually explicit photos and videos Taylor allegedly produced by secretly filming minor children at the home. They said they also allegedly found more than 400 videos of child pornography on computers and storage media recovered from Taylor's home office in his Indianapolis residence.

Taylor's attorney, Brad Banks, said Tuesday his client was briefly hospitalized after the allegations surfaced but is now in federal custody. Sheriff's officials have said Taylor tried to take his own life in jail.

"The only thing I can say is that I'm aware that there's an ongoing investigation," Banks said.

Tim Horty, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office in Indianapolis, said prosecutors "are moving forward" with the case against Taylor. He declined to comment on Tuesday's raid at Fogle's home.

Neighbors said Fogle and his wife entertained frequently and would say hello but that they didn't see the couple outside a lot.

Jacob Schrader, 19, who lives across from Fogle's house, said the pitchman seems "like a pretty private guy" and that he'd only seen him about a dozen times in the last five or six years.

"He's like an endangered species or something like that," Schrader said.

Subway, which is based in Milford, Connecticut, and is privately held, has struggled in recent years. Last year, industry tracker Technomic said average sales for Subway stores in the U.S. declined 3 percent from the previous year. The company has about 44,000 locations around the world.

Shocking. What's your thoughts on this controversy?

Obama's Touching Eulogy In Charleston!

Friends of faith know the road ahead was a challenge. But we persevere.

The LGBT community was given a historical victory today. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage. Now in the United States, marriage is legal for every human being.

President Barack Obama delivered a powerful statement this morning.

And when he went to Charleston, SC for the funeral of Clementa Pickney, a state senator who was the pastor of Emmanuel AME Church, Obama gave one of the best eulogies ever.

As passionate as he was, the president remarks on all the innocent lives lost to this terrorist and the need to push for reasonable gun control.

The deceased included congregation members: Susie Jackson, 87; Rev Daniel Simmons Sr., 74; Ethel Lance, 70; Myra Thompson, 59; Cynthia Hurd, 54; Rev Depayne Middleton-Doctor, 49; Rev Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, 45; and Tywanza Sanders, 26.

World News Today send our condolences to families of those lost in this horrible tragedy.

He went into Amazing Grace which brought the biggest standing ovation ever.

Who ever said that President Barack Obama's isn't the coolest guy in the White House?

A man of principle and a man of vision. And for the hate aimed at him, First Lady Michelle Obama an their children, they keep their cool and keep it moving.

BREAKING: GAY MARRIAGE LEGAL IN THE U.S.!

Anthony Kennedy joined the liberal justices Steven Breyer, Elena Kagan, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Sonia Sotomayor in an extremely historical decision. The gay marriage bans in states like Ohio, Kentucky, Florida and Texas are gone. The United States Supreme Court ruled, gay marriage the law of the land.

A HUGE DAY IN AMERICA FOR OUR FRIENDS IN THE LGBT COMMUNITY! THE SUPREME COURT RULED THAT THE STATE BANS ON GAY MARRIAGE ARE ILLEGAL.

GAY MARRIAGE AND GAY ADOPTION ARE NOW LEGAL IN THE UNITED STATES.

HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE IN THE COUNTRY.

THE ROBERTS COURT FINALLY WENT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

A big day in the Supreme Court. The legality of marriage is now equal for all.

In a 5-4 decision, the court ruled that all state mandated gay marriage bans are discriminatory.
Win for the LGBT community.
The decision is a historic victory for gay rights activists who have fought for years in the lower courts. Thirty-seven states and the District of Columbia already recognize marriage equality. The remaining 13 states ban these unions, even as public support has reached record levels nationwide.

The justices found that under the 14th Amendment, states must issues marriage licenses to same-sex couples and recognize same-sex unions that were legally performed in other states.

The lead plaintiff in Obergefell v. Hodges is Ohio resident Jim Obergefell, who wanted to be listed as the surviving spouse on his husband's death certificate. In 2013, Obergefell married his partner of two decades, John Arthur, who suffered from ALS. Arthur passed away in October of that year, three months after the couple filed their lawsuit.

Obergefell was joined by several dozen other gay plaintiffs from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee who were fighting both to be able to marry and to have their marriage recognized in every state in the country.
Family matters. The Supreme Court made a historical decision on gay marriage.
The country's views of same-sex marriage have transformed since 2004, when Massachusetts became the first state to allow gay couples to wed. In 2013, the Supreme Court began chipping away at the country's legacy of discrimination against same-sex couples when it struck down part of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, which prevented same-sex couples whose marriages were recognized by their home state from receiving the hundreds of benefits available to other married couples under federal law.

President Barack Obama became the first sitting president to support marriage equality when he came out in favor of it in 2012, the same year that the Democratic Party made it part of its platform for the first time. The Republican Party and its slate of 2016 presidential aspirants, however, remain opposed to same-sex marriage. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) support a constitutional amendment protecting states that want to ban marriage equality.

Some conservatives have advocated for a civil disobedience effort against a Supreme Court decision in favor of same-sex marriage. However, officials in red states told The Huffington Post recently that they are prepared to implement the decision, going so far as to ready gender-neutral marriage licenses and set later office hours. Gerard Rickhoff, who oversees marriage licenses in Bexar County, Texas, said that if same-sex couples are discriminated against elsewhere in the state, "Just get in your car and come on down the highway. You'll be embraced here."

President Barack Obama will be heading to Charleston soon but before he goes, he may deliver a speech on the court decision.
