What Happened To Stephanie Washington?

Stephanie Washington survived a shooting. The Hamden Police nearly killed her. She was an innocent victim of police violence.
Anger in Connecticut. The Hamden Police are facing a slew of controversy.

The law shot an unarmed couple. The injured is Stephanie Washington, a 22-year old mother who was unarmed at the time of the shooting. A dirty cop shot her in the face early Tuesday morning in New Haven.

A cop from Hamden and a Yale University cop unleashed a barrage of gunfire on a red Honda Civic that her boyfriend Paul Witherspoon III was driving. He was not injured in the gunfire.

Witherspoon said to the junk food media that he didn't do anything wrong. He thought he was going to die in this incident.

"I thought I was already dead because he pointed [a gun] right at me. My girlfriend was just yelling like, 'They shot me! They shot me! They shot!'"

The cops who shot the young woman were placed in the freezer pending an investigation on whether justifiable force was necessary. The dirty cops were named Devin Eaton who represented the Hamden Police and Terrance Pollock who represented Yale University Police.

The Connecticut State Police and State Attorney's Office will do an investigation.

Community residents are upset over this shooting.

According to the state police, a car was stopped as Hamden police continued an investigation into the report of an armed robbery of a newspaper delivery driver at the Gas and Go Gas Station in Hamden.

New Haven mayor Toni N. Sharp had shared her thoughts on the shooting.

She said that she is "troubled, concerned and frankly outraged" over the shooting. She wants a clear investigation into matter.

"This incident betrays police actions gone horribly wrong along the Hamden/New Haven line and now Stephanie, as well as many residents, her family and friends must live with the consequences and resulting uncertainty of what was by every definition an unacceptable response."

Hamden Mayor Curt Leng also addressed the controversy. He calls for a full investigation and demands changes in the way police handle fleeing suspects.

Leng said he would not comment much on the incident specifically, so as to maintain the integrity of the investigation, but promised a "transparent investigation."

At one point, a woman who said he was the mother of Witherspoon said her son had been released from the hospital and driven home without being arrested.

A beautiful life is spared. Thankful that she managed to duck the gunfire.
Since this incident, many of the residents are expressing strong distrust towards the law. Just last month, a teacher who worked for Hamden Public Schools was caught on camera berating a Black couple and spitting on them.

Thankfully this young woman is able to tell the junk food media her story.

Harp reiterated that no New Haven police officers were involved in the shooting, and that officers only arrived on scene after the fact to help secure and hold the crime scene, allowing investigators from the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit to gather evidence and begin their investigation.

Hamden is currently in the process of revising its pursuit policy, with recommendations to only pursue a suspect wanted for a violent felony.

In August 2018, Hamden police pursued a vehicle into New Haven. The car crashed into a tree and landed in the southbound lane of the road, killing the 26-year-old passenger in the car and critically injuring the driver.

BAD COPS WILL GET GOOD COPS KILLED

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

Those so called Blue Lives Matter supporters will try to justify this shooting. They will make the story about the victim instead of the cops that shot her.

We need police reform and definitely accountability for law enforcement.

They're people with firearms and they believe they can legally murder you if you're considered a threat to society.

I am tired of hearing cops say they feared for their lives.

If you fear being in the uniform, get out! You don't have to serve. Let actual cops do their jobs.

Because of bad cops, good cops often have to deal with the outcry of people of color.
