The Funeral Of John McCain!

Paying respect to the former 2008 Republican nominee for president, John McCain.

Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Joe Biden, NFL wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Pence, Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham paid tribute to John McCain.

McCain is being buried today and his family and friends pay their respect to the Arizona senator who died of brain cancer. The McCain family includes his widow, Cindy and The View host Meghan McCain.

The funeral is livestream.

Gov. Doug Ducey will pick a replacement to succeed McCain until a special election. I assume that failed candidate Kelli Ward is hoping she becomes the senator.

Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) and Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will square off for the seat being vacated by Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ).

Flake already endorsed McSally. Had it been Ward, he might have supported Sinema.

Flake praised McCain for being a voice of Arizonans and decency. He also praised both McSally and Sinema for becoming a historical first. Both women could end up being the first female senator representing Arizona.

McCain's funeral is on.

The Funeral Of Aretha Franklin!

The Homecoming for a Queen.
The Homecoming for the Queen of Soul.

As Aretha Franklin prepares for her departure, Bill Clinton, Eric Holder, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Clive Davis, Glynn Turman and others pay their respects to a legendary singer and entertainer.

The livestream is still on.

Pay your respects to Aretha Franklin by sharing your thoughts.
They prepared Aretha Franklin well. The matching red dress and stiletto pumps.
CBS livestream from Detroit.

Former president Bill Clinton speaks at the Aretha Franklin funeral. Over in Washington, Former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush will speak at John McCain's funeral.

Donald J. Trump was not invited to either funeral.

KAMIKAZʎ!

Surprise album from Eminem and rap fans are going crazy.
No one saw it coming. Not even rap fans.

Marshall Bruce Matters III, you are the rap god.

Today was the release of Eminem's latest album, Kamikaze.

Damn, Em, why did you go hard on this one?

This is the 10th album release from Slim Shady. Dr. Dre and Eminem were the executive producers of the album and its released on Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment.
There hasn't been a rapper able to beat Eminem in a rap beef.
The album production include Eminem, Ronny J, Mike Will Made It, Boi-1da, Illadaproducer, Luis Resto, S1 and Fred Ball.

The album is a follow up to the Revival album. Many music critics panned the album. Eminem went back into the studio to record the Kamikaze. He went after rappers, Donald J. Trump, music critics and himself.

Eminem has a few features on the album. His Bad Versus Evil partner Royce Da 5'9", Joyner Lucus, Jessie Reyez and an uncredit appearance from Justin Vernon.

About who he dissed on the album.

Here's the lyrics of The Ringer.

[Intro]
*Plane crashing*
Yeah, yo I'm just gonna write down my first thoughts and see where this takes me, ’cause I feel like I wanna punch the world in the fuckin' face right now

[Verse]
Yeah, let me explain just how to make greatness
Straight out the gate, I'm ’bout to break you down
Ain't no mistakes allowed, but make no mistake I'm 'bout
To rape the alphabet, I may raise some brows
If I press the issue just to get the anger out (brrr)
Full magazine could take Staples out
Savage, but ain't thinkin' 'bout no bank account
But bitch I'm off the chain like Kala Brown
Motherfucker, shut the fuck up when I’m talkin’, lil' bitch
I’m sorry, wait, what's your talent? Oh, critiquin'
My talent? Oh, bitch, I don't know who the fuck y’all are
To give a sub-par bar, even have an opinion of you
You mention me, millions of views, attention in news
I mention you, lose-lose for me, win-win for you
Billions of views, your ten cents are two
Skim through the music to give shit reviews
To get clicks, but bitch, you just lit the fuse
Don't get misconstrued, business as us'
Shit-list renewed so get shit to do
Or get dissed 'cause I just don't get what the fuck half the shit is that you're listenin' t-to
Do you have any idea how much I hate this choppy flow
Everyone copies though? Probably no
Get this fuckin' audio out my Audi yo, adios
I can see why people like Lil Yachty, but not me though
Not even dissin', it just ain't for me
All I am simply is just an emcee
Maybe "Stan" just isn't your cup of tea
Maybe your cup's full of syrup and lean
Maybe I need to stir up shit
Preferably shake the world up if it were up to me
Paul wants me to chill, y'all want me to ill
I should eat a pill, probably I will
Old me kill the new me, watch him bleed to death
I breathe on the mirror, I don't see my breath
Possibly I'm dead, I must be possessed
Like an evil spell, I'm E-V-I-L (evil, but spelled)
Jam a Crest Whitestrip in the tip of my dick with an ice pick
Stick it in a vice grip, hang it on a spike fence
Bang it with a pipe wrench
While I take my ballsack and flick it like a light switch
Like vice-president Mike Pence
Back up on my shit in a sidekick as I lay it on a spike strip
These are things that I'd rather do than hear you on a mic
Since nine-tenths of your rhyme is about ice and
Jesus Christ man, how many times is someone gonna fuck on my bitch? (Fuck my side chick!)
You will never see Em icy, but as cold as I get on the M-I-C
I polarize shit so the Thames might freeze
And your skull might split like I bashed you upside it
Bitch I got the club on smash like a nightstick (yeah)
Turn down for what? I ain't loud enough
Nah, turn the valium up!
'Cause I don't know how I'm gonna get your mouths to shut
Now when it doesn't matter what caliber I spit at
I'll bet a hundred thousand bucks
You'll turn around and just be like, "Man, how the fuck sourpuss gonna get mad just 'cause his album sucks
And now he wants to take it out on us?" (ooh-ooh)
But last week, an ex-fan mailed me a copy
Of The Mathers LP to tell me to study
It'll help me get back to myself and she'll love me (ooh-ooh)
I mailed the bitch back and said if I did that
I'd just be like everyone else in the fucking industry
Especially an effing Recovery clone of me
So finger-bang, chicken wang, MGK, Iggy ‘zae
Lil Pump, Lil Xan imitate Lil Wayne
I should aim at everybody in the game, pick a name
I'm fed up with being humble
And rumor is I'm hungry, I'm sure you heard bumblings
I heard you wanna rumble like an empty stomach
I heard your mumblin' but it's jumbled in mumbo-jumbo
The era that I'm from will pummel you
That's what it's comin' to
What the fuck are you gonna do? Where you runnin' to?
I'm gonna crumble you and I'll take a number two
And dump on you if you ain't Joyner
If you ain't Kendrick or Cole or Sean then you're a goner
I'm 'bout to bring it to anyone in this bitch who want it
I guess when you walk into BK you expect a Whopper
You can order a quarter pounder when you go to McDonald's
But if you're lookin' to get a porterhouse you better go get Revival
But y'all are acting like I tried to serve you up a slider
Maybe the vocals should have been auto-tuned
And you would have bought it
But sayin' I no longer got it
'Cause you missed the line and never caught it
'Cause it went over your head, because you're too stupid to get it
'Cause you're mentally retarded, but pretend to be the smartest
With your expertise and knowledge, but you'll never be an artist
And I'm harder on myself than you could ever be regardless
What I'll never be is flawless, all I'll ever be is honest
Even when I'm gone they're gonna say I brought it
Even when I hit my forties like a fuckin' alcoholic
With a bottle full of malt liquor
But I couldn't bottle this shit any longer
The fact that I know that I'ma hit my bottom
If I don't pull myself from the jaws of defeat and rise to my feet
I don't see why y'all even started with me
I get impeached, my enemies die
I don't ceasefire 'til at least all are deceased
I'm eastside, never be caught slippin'
Now you see why I don't sleep
Not even a wink, I don't blink
I don't doze off, I don't even nod to the beats
I don't even close my fuckin' eyes when I sneeze
"Aw, man! That BET cypher was weak, it was garbage
The Thing ain't even orange—oh my God, that's a reach!"
Shout to all my colorblind people, each and every one of y'all
If you call a fire engine green, aquamarine
Or you think water is pink
"Dawg, that's a date," "Looks like an olive to me."
"Look, there's an apple!" "No it's not, it's a peach!"
So finger-bang, Pootie Tang, Burger King, Gucci Gang, dookie, dang
Charlamagne gonna hate anyway
Doesn't matter what I say
Give me Donkey of the Day
What a way for 2018 to get underway
But I'm gonna say everything that I wanna say
Welcome to the slaughterhouse, bitch! (yeah)
Invite them in like a one a day
I'm not done (preach)
'Cause I feel like the beast of burden
That line in the sand, was it even worth it?
'Cause the way I see people turnin'
Is makin' it seem worthless
It's startin' to defeat the purpose
I'm watchin' my fan base shrink to thirds
And I was just tryin' to do the right thing, but word
Has the court of public opinion reached a verdict
Or still yet to be determined?
'Cause I'm determined to be me, critique the worship
But if I could go back I'd at least reword it
And say I empathize with the people this evil serpent
Sold the dream to that he's deserted
But I think it's workin'
These verses are makin' him a wee bit nervous
And he's too scurred to answer me with words
'Cause he knows that he will lyrically get murdered
But I know at least he's heard it
'Cause Agent Orange just sent the Secret Service
To meet in person to see if I really think of hurtin' him
Or ask if I'm linked to terrorists
I said, "Only when it comes to ink and lyricists."
But my beef is more media journalists
(Hold up, hold up, hold up…)
I said my beef is more meaty, a journalist
Can get a mouthful of flesh
And yes, I mean eating a penis
'Cause they been pannin' my album to death
So I been givin' the media fingers
Don't wanna turn this to a counselling sesh
But they been puttin' me through the ringer
So I ain't ironin' shit out with the press
But I just took this beat to the cleaners

Em aimed at Lil' Pump, Lil' Xan, Tyler The Creator, Joe Budden, Chance The Rapper, Drake, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil' Yachty, Kanye West, Charlamagne The God, Mike Pence, Donald Trump and those who criticized the Revial.
13 tracks.
Joe Budden was once signed to Shady Records. He and his group Slaughterhouse broke up. The rapper aimed at Eminem multiple times. He sneak dissed him through his Everyday Struggle series. He made remarks going after Revival and calling Em's music trash.

He also released the single "Venom." The single is a preview to the Marvel movie Venom which is coming out in October.

This album has received generally positive reviews from critics. Writing for Forbes, Bryan Rolli called the album "a fitting end to rap's underwhelming summer", situating the release in terms of his critically-derided 2017 album Revival and other high-profile hip hop releases in 2018.

Slim Shady is telling critics that "careers will end" if they come at him.

Eminem will score another platinum album and Grammy buzz.

The National Enquirer Falls!

American Media, Inc. has took a big nosedive. Thanks to David Pecker's support of Donald J. Trump, the National Enquirer is suffering in sales.

The tabloid is declining because of its anti-Hillary Clinton stories.

The company lost $72 million in revenue thanks to Pecker.

It won't be long before he is ousted from the company.

The tabloid sat on two stories dealing with Trump. The accusations made by Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels were sidelined by Michael Cohen and American Media, Inc. They deliberately tried to push Trump over the finish line with stories demeaning Clinton, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio.

I want you to know that the tabloid is losing subscribers because of their support of Trump.

Pecker took a plea deal to avoid federal time out.

The company board is weighing whether they should fire Pecker out the cannon.

Who knows what could happen?

Michael Cohen plead guilty to bank fraud and campaign finance violations. He decided to corporate with the feds in regards to the Russia probe.

Michael Avenatti, the attorney for Daniels is warning Trump and his allies that more damaging stuff is coming.

Loose Ends!

Trolls often come to our blog to sow discourse.
Question: Why do conservatives often troll Black blogs?

I said I would respond to our critics and those who troll this blog with remarks that go against what we stand for. Today in the spirit of bipartisanship, I will do the good readers here a favor. I will post what our critics have to say about us. We are determined to be the honest resistance of Donald Trump and his minions.

So grab a magnifying glass and read the latest word vomit from those on the right.

And what would YOU have done if you saw the guy turning around and pulling a gun -- shouted "drop your gun or I'll shoot?" I seriously doubt that; you would have done the same exact thing the cop did -- put a half dozen or more slugs in the guy.

First - This is a tragedy. Also I am not making a judgment here - However, when does it become OK for people to assume the laws do not apply to them? You parked in a handicap spot without tags, and someone called you out for breaking the rules. Instead of moving, or apologizing you had to argue...and resort to violence by pushing your accuser to the ground. WRONG ANSWER! Those reckless drivers who cut in front of you, and them jam on the breaks and flip you the bird cause you beep at them as if your the one who is wrong. This country is f'd up. The rules are for everyone, your not special and I will continue to call you out. People at my conv. store think the parking spots are for everyone else and park right in front of the door. stop being lazy and park in the spaces. when you cut someone off apologize, STOP BLAMING OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE YOUR AN IDIOT. Do not blatantly walk across a street in front of cars. they don't have to stop unless your in a marked crosswalk DUMBASS. Look first before you cross. STOP changing the laws to accommodate people because they don't want to follow them. I guess we better BAN HANDICAP SPACES, with those assault rifles

On behalf of me and S. Baldwin, we want to thank you for reading World News Today. It's a beautiful blog. It's a blog that discusses issues involving our community, the government and the mainstream media.

It's a blog that focuses on issues referring to President Donald Trump, Black achievement, and issues facing people of color. It deals with the latest controversies that the mainstream media talks about.

It's an opinion blog. It's been active since June 21, 2006 and started from her inspiration involving people of color. I thank her greatly for making a great blog. We often post on this blog about issues involving people of color. I joined on in 2010 and contribute to most of the postings that you read here.

I often discuss more of the mainstream controversies like unarmed people of color being killed by police or vigilantes. I often talk about how right wing agitators like Tomi Lahren, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Matt Drudge, Jeanine Pirro, Corey Lewandowski, Steve Bannon, Fox News and others sow racial discourse. They are active supporters of Donald Trump. I often discuss the Russia probe which has dogged Trump since he entered the White House.

I often hate referring him as President of the United States. I hate it. But as far as I know, for the next two or even six years, Trump will reign his legacy on America.

His supporters are problematic and they are the reasons to why our country is fucked up right now.

Yeah, there are some who voted for Trump based on his experience as a businessman, entertainer and trend setter. However, he is a divisive figure and has driven negativity in our country.

I often talk about the latest issues involving mainstream hip-hop and R&B acts.

I often talk about my hometown of Dayton, Ohio. The city is the sixth largest in the state. It is a dying community. It has lost 14,000 residents in the past 10 years. The lost of a local hospital, two anchor stores at the Dayton Mall and the opioid crisis hasn't made Dayton a popular area.

Dayton like most cities was industrial only. When that left, it left people with no well paying jobs. Now most of the jobs are in service and its being wiped away.

The community is about to close public schools, cut services for the public bus line, put more police cameras in areas deemed problematic to cutback overtime on police and fire services.

Our mayor, our U.S. Representatives, our U.S. Senators and governor are inept. It's not a Democratic or Republican Party issue. It's an American crisis and our lawmakers are clueless or helpless to stop it.

With Donald Trump as the president, our country is more divided than ever. Based on the comments seen above, I don't really want to respond with the usual quirk and smart ass response.

I'll just be blunt.

We are not going to change the minds of these trolls. It's a waste of time and patience.

I just remove the comments and move on. I don't have to offer them any response other than what they see here.

Again, no one has pointed a gun to your head telling you to read anything posted on this blog or any blog that is associated to me, S. Baldwin or any contributors here.

We don't mind you responding. However, we do control what we see and what is posted so it's pretty much a waste of time to post something if you don't agree with it. We're just going to remove it.

So to those who are reading on World News Today: Thank you again for your support.

Without you, we wouldn't be doing this. So if you feel the need to respond to our postings, be our guest. We are here to respond to you.

Insulting us won't break us.

Calling us out will not stop us.

Creating phony blogs about us or using us in your propaganda will not silence us.

We are are a mountain! We can't be moved!

Here's videos about responding to trolls. Take this as reminder that it's best not to feed the trolls!

Trump: Anonymous "Sources" Are Fake!

"China hacked 'Crooked Hillary's' Emails" - Trump cites anonymous sources.
Imbecile Donald J. Trump just concluded without factual evidence China hacked into Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party's emails. He goes against all the federal agencies that concluded that the Russian Federation deliberately meddled in the U.S. election.

The FBI said that it has found no evidence that China hacked into the servers.

Clinton, the former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic nominee have blamed Russia and Republican opposition for her defeat. The John Podesta emails were hacked and leaked through Wikileaks. The Democratic National Convention was also hacked.

Trump went to social media to brag about the allegations.

Trump also launched an attack on the junk food media for advocating anonymous sources.

Addicting Info, take it away.

The progressive blog unearth Trump's odyssey for former president Barack Obama's birth certificate.

The source of Trump's outrage comes from The Daily Caller, the right wing kookspiracy site founded by that peckerwood Tucker Carlson.

Since the election, conservatives have tried to make the issue about Russian collusion all about Hillary Clinton. The right claims that Clinton and her allies in the FBI conspired to harm Trump during the election.

They are peddling kookspiracy about Clinton being involved in Russia meddling.

So far, the Robert Mueller investigation has indicted 25 people.

Andrew Gillum: We Can Do This!

Florida picks Andrew Gillum to face off against Ron DeSantis.
In a surprise victory, Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum won the Democratic Primary for Florida governor. It will be a closely watched race. The Democrats were hoping that Gwen Graham, a political moderate would win. They saw the progressive base active.

Gillum could become Florida's first African American governor. He will be facing an onslaught of politically and racially based attacks from Donald J. Trump, Republicans, Fox News and his opponent, Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

Gillum and DeSantis are both young, native Floridians and it will be a test. Will voters come out?

Gillum, like many are motivated by the inactions of the state house, Trump and Congress.

DeSantis is motivated by his disdain for the junk food media, the Russia probe of Trump and two politicizing agitators.

Democrats see the opportunity in Florida after the latest round of mass shootings, vigilante killings of people of color and Mar-A-Largo trips from Trump.

Healthcare is definitely on the line.

Republicans hope to paint Gillum as an Obama-clone with far-left ties to Black Lives Matter and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

DeSantis will get favorable coverage. He already is being promoted on Fox News and its chief propagandists and annoyance, Sean "Softball" Hannity. The annoying agitator and his allies, Tucker Carlson and Mark Levin are already laying the groundwork to smear Gillum.

Trump already set off the first rounds.

The actual plans presented by Gillum are simple. He said that he is running for governor because he wants to rebuild the state's economy, revitalize public education, protecting and expanding healthcare access, and accessing our climate change crisis with a clean energy economy.

His opponent DeSantis is far from that.

His plans are basically keep the status quo. He wants to keep Florida a low tax state. It means, keep revenue low and property high. The cost of living in Florida is extremely high and homelessness is heavy in Florida.

He wants to make merit based education. That means more corrupt charter schools, privatizing public education, force students to learn the Constitution as a requirement to graduate and stop Common Core.

DeSantis wants to enact E-verify and eliminate asylum and sanctuary cities.

He wants to protect the water, but not stop big oil and gas from drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. He wants to restore the Everglades but not protect the endangered species in Central Florida. He won't acknowledge climate change.

He wants to put more cronies in the Florida Supreme Court.

He wants to keep gun laws loose and wants to get in between a women's legs and restrict their access to prenatal care.

DeSantis as a lawmaker has no real accomplishments. All he will say is he served in the military, he stands with Donald Trump, he will be the real conservative, and the slapstick name calling of Gillum.

He will say he will defend the Second Amendment and blame Democrats for Florida's crappy economy.

He will receive coverage from the junk food media because he is well established.

Both candidates are under 40 years old. Both of them are 39 years old.

Gwen Graham, a former U.S. Representative was the chosen favorite among Democrats. They were shocked that she would lose to Gillum. She is the daughter of Bob Graham, a former governor and U.S. senator. Even well established candidates like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) and Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) got it wrong.

Jeff Greene is a Florida multi-millionarie and perennial loser who has name recognition within the state. He was eliminated early.

Gillum managed to come from third place to finish out the nominee.

It kind of reminds me of when Rick Scott defeated Charlie Crist in 2010. Crist was then the Republican governor of Florida. He would lose to Scott, a healthcare executive and multi-millionaire who used military and the endorsements of the Tea Party to win the nomination and eventually the governorship.

Scott now an established politician is hoping to carry his worthless agenda to Washington as a Senator. He will be taking on Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL), a former astronaut and political moderate who served the Senate since 2001. He has been a Washington lawmaker since the late 1970s.
Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is a status quo candidate.
David Hogg, the survivor of the 2018 mass shooting in Parkland, Florida was right. The Democrats do elect candidates that are considered "too old" and "uninspiring."

Hogg said that if the older Democrats continue to stand in power, they will become scapegoats to conservative agitators and Trump.

DeSantis' opponent is fellow lawmaker Rep. Adam Putman (R-FL). Putman was 44-year old. He is another young candidate.

Republicans are lining up young candidates who practically are mini-versions of Trump. White extremists and morons are literally willing to get an endorsement from Trump.

It's been proven successful.

The turnout was high for both sides.

Gillum beaten two well established candidates.

The midterms are extremely important. We need to get out to vote. Help the progressives win. I said progressives not the Democrats. The Democratic Party will continue to show cowardice to the base.

Conservatives are already energized by the falsehoods of Sean "Softball" Hannity, Fox News and Trump.

It's time to show the country, that progressives mean business.

If you want more mass shootings in Florida, vote for Ron DeSantis. If you want the safety net cut and the cost of living to increase in Florida, vote for DeSantis.

Want the status quo, vote for DeSantis.

Floridians, vote for Andrew Gillum.

Family - Gillum is married to R. Jai Gillum and has three children.

Family - DeSantis is married Casey Black DeStanis, a former news reporter. They have two children.

Dirty Cop Served In Jordan Edwards Murder!

Dirty cop found guilty in the death of Jordan Edwards.
Finally, a cop is held accountable for his reckless actions.

The former Texas cop who fired upon a slow moving car killing Jordan Edwards was found guilty.

Edwards, 15 was unarmed and he was leaving a house party when this asshole Roy Oliver decided to take his life with five bullets. This dirty cop fired on the car being driven by his brother Kevon Edwards.

The bullets struck the passenger side and it instantly killed the teen.

Jurors were convinced that Oliver chose to use deadly force without merit.

He was fired from the Balch Springs Police Department days after the shooting. Oliver testified that he opened fire on the vehicle because he saw the vehicle was moving in the direction of a partner.
Justice is served for Jordan Edwards.
The partner said that he was in no danger.

The cop faces 30 to LIFE in the iron college. His lawyers will appeal the decision. They will call upon the state governor Greg Abbott to examine his record and try to reduce or commute his sentence.

Oliver is a white former cop.

Edwards was a Black teenager from Dallas.

Jurors were convinced that Oliver was a "angry, out of control 'trigger happy' bully."

On behalf of me and S. Baldwin and our supporter Donald Blodgett, I happily say, "Justice is served."

Black Lives Matter and today, we saw Texans finally do something right. Thankfully the conservative agitators didn't get involved. They would have tried to slander Jordan Edwards and launch a campaign in defense of the cop.

Trump Bemoans Social Media Giants Because Of Trolls!

Diamond & Silk, the two controversial Black women who openly endorsed Donald J. Trump may have inspired the imbecile's latest round of social media rants.

Peep this.

The two, Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson are social media personalities who post on YouTube their thoughts about politics, culture and the best buddy, Donald Trump.

The vitriol these two be saying is considered "extreme" by most standards.

The two went to Lou Dobbs of Fox News to whine about how they are being suppressed by a boogeyman who shutters them and others.

Not the case.

The right is violent and hateful. These two advocate violence and promote a hateful agenda. Diamond & Silk are part of this racist movement dubbed the alt-right.

The imbecile blames social media companies for allegedly "silencing" conservatives and promoting a far-left agenda ahead of the Midterm elections.

So his latest target is Google, the subsidiary of Alphabet, Inc. Google is the company that owns Blogger, YouTube, Wade and Android.
Trolls complain about being silenced. They go to Fox News and it reaches Trump.
Trump says that the bad press about him are driven by Google's algorithms.

Mind you this is the same guy who posted only a year ago a fake video showing him wrestling CNN.

Trump’s criticism and threat of action to somehow restrict Google was his latest attack on a major tech company, following a series of tweets about Amazon.com, which he has accused of hurting small businesses and benefitting from a favorable deal with the U.S. Postal Service.

Last week, without mentioning specific companies, he accused social media companies of silencing “millions of people” in an act of censorship, without offering evidence to support the claim.

In several tweets on Tuesday, the president said Google search results for “Trump News” showed only the reporting of what he terms fake news media, saying this was rigged against him and others.

Blaming Google for what he said was dangerous action that promoted mainstream media outlets such as CNN and suppressed conservative political voices, Trump added, “This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!” He did not offer any details.

Google said in a statement that its search engine “is not used to set a political agenda and we don’t bias our results toward any political ideology ... We continually work to improve Google Search and we never rank search results to manipulate political sentiment.”

Matt Gertz of Media Matters for America explains the real reason to why Trump bitched about Google, Facebook and Twitter.

Birdman Ends Feud With Tunechi!

Cash Money CEO Bryan "Baby" Williams apologizes to Lil' Wayne.
While Lil' Wayne isn't on Cash Money Records anymore, his former mentor Bryan "Baby" Williams (known as Birdman) decided to squash the longstanding feud they had.

For nearly five years, Lil' Wayne was preparing for Tha Carter V to be released on Cash Money Records. The record was delayed and eventually shelved. The rapper was also barred from appearing on joint projects without clearance from Cash Money.

Lil' Wayne was angered over the departure of Tyga from Cash Money and Young Money Records.

The rappers were verbally and publicly trading shots at one another.
Wayne with daughter Regine Carter, a reality television star in her own right.
Well I guess all is good because at the Weezyana Concert in New Orleans, Birdman came onstage and made an impromptu speech formally apologizing to the Lil' Wayne.

View it here.

Birdman was on stage Saturday at Weezyana Fest 2018 in New Orleans when the Cash Money honcho took the mic and essentially told Wayne, "I'm sorry."

Birdman started the apology with Wayne right beside him on sage with the words, "I knew this day was going to come, but I didn't know when it was going to come."

Wayne sued Birdman and Cash Money for $51 million for violating the terms of his contract and withholding the release of his album.

The suit settled back in June, and it appears the album will be released before the end of 2018.

Jemele Hill Exits ESPN!

Jemele Hill splits from ESPN.
ESPN is about to fire Jemele Hill out the cannon. The sports agitator is pretty damn happy to leave.

ESPN is a sinking ship. Thanks to their failure to support NFL players and Hill, the network is seeing its cash cow dry up. Yeah, it's about sports and entertainment. But the people and athletes do live in a country where they feel they need to speak out about how this country is being ran.

She has been very critical of Donald J. Trump and ESPN lately. She has been very vocal about how Trump has reacted to the NFL and the players taking a knee when the national anthem is being played.

Hill joined ESPN in 2006 and has worked on various programs with the company. She reportedly requested a meeting with ESPN president James Pitaro, and it’s possible that’s when the two sides agreed to the buyout, according to Miller.

Miller is the author of “Those Guys Have All the Fun: Inside the World of ESPN.”

A buyout of her reported $2.5 million-per-year contract has been completed and her last day will be Friday, sources told the New York Post.

The separation was due to Hill's desire to be involved in politics, while ESPN wants to be apolitical, the Post reported.

Hill is believed to have recently met with new ESPN President James Pitaro to discuss her exit, Variety reported.

At a meeting with reporters earlier this month, Pitaro emphasized that ESPN's role is to cover sports news without any particular political bias, the report said.

The executive reportedly said he would prefer that the company's journalists and commentators not offer their own opinions on political matters.

“There is a real concentration, still a real need, on stories about women of color… that will be a huge focus of what I do," she said.

She said she is "really excited" about the next phase of her career and would work to dismantle institutional racism.

“Somebody needs to step up and save us,” Hill said.

She called leaving sports media a “bittersweet” feeling.

Hill and ESPN were not immediately available for comment on her departure.

Blame Game: David Katz!

This scum killed two people because he lost a video game.
The latest mass shooting in the United States has killed two. The terrorist is dead and questions remain.

There are no questions. We all know the same answer. It's a motivated attack and it resulted the deaths of Eli Young and Taylor Robertson. Two young men who just enjoy playing video games. They were just having fun at what they do and this asshole kills them. Their names may never be forgotten by those in the gaming community, but sure as hell, they are forgotten in the public and covered once by the junk food media.

Even our dear imbecile hasn't reacted to the news. The White House hasn't responded publicly to this tragedy.

U.S. Senate candidate and Florida governor Rick Scott is exploiting this. He will try to use this take on Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL). He will say that his actions and photo ops are helping Floridians. Yet, he hasn't really done much on gun control since The Pulse and Marjory Stoneman Douglas mass shootings.

Okay, this white terrorist is given a "glaring profile."

Eli Young was gunned down.
White killers are often given profiles that gives the public sympathy. Conservatives will blame video games, entertainers, celebrities and lawmakers who say controversial things. They won't blame the NRA or state lawmakers are advocate for loose gun laws. Matter of fact, they conclude the only way to stop a bad guy with an AR15 is a "guy with a gun." Good luck on that.

If the killer was Black, they are regarded as thugs. Conservatives will call upon the public to ridicule Barack Obama, Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, hip-hop music and Democrats as the reasons to why gun violence exist.

If the killer was Muslim, they are regarded as terrorists. Conservatives will blast the junk food media about their refusal to call it "radical Islam." They will advocate for a travel ban (even though the Supreme Court made a portion of that legal). They will call for law enforcement to profile Muslims and there will be retaliatory acts towards Muslim women.

If the killer was a Hispanic, they would use this a weapon to stop immigrants from entering the United States. They will call upon a border wall. They would call upon restrictions to allow immigrants into the country. They would say drive the narrative that immigrants bring firearms into the country.

If it was a White guy, conservatives and kookspiracists would automatically suspect the terrorist's political leanings are associated to the Democratic Party.

Then the bottom feeders would start blaming people for the actions of the terrorist. White conservatives often do this. They continue to push forth the divide.

He used a handgun in the shooting, according to a source close to the investigation. Police have not commented on a possible motive for the shooting.
Taylor Robertson and Eli Young both were gunned down by this scum while playing Madden 19.
Federal agents and local law enforcement officers searched the white terrorist's home in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore.

Many suspect the terrorist was mad that he lost in a first round of a video game convention.

In an eerie video, you can see a laser sight zeroed in on one of the victims.

What has Donald J. Trump done so far to acknowledge the latest mass shooting. Go golfing.

I am fed up with gun violence.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

I AM FED UP WITH REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS.

THEY ARE ALLOWING GENOCIDE TO REIGN IN THE UNITED STATES.

THEY WON'T DO NOTHING TO STOP GUN VIOLENCE. DONALD J. TRUMP, THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION AND CONSERVATIVE AGITATORS WOULD CALL FOR ACTIONS TO PEOPLE OF COLOR, MUSLIMS AND IMMIGRANTS. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO GUN, THEY ARE SILENT.

NOTHING.

IT'S TIME TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.

GET OUT AND VOTE.

VOTE THESE BUMS OUT.

IF YOU FAIL TO VOTE, WE CONTINUE TO HAVE THESE WORTHLESS LAWMAKERS ROLLBACK PROGRESS, ALLOW MILITARY STYLE FIREARMS ON THE STREETS AND THE INEPTNESS OF A LEADER WHO HAD NO FREAKING CLUE ON HOW TO RUN GOVERNMENT.

Neil Simon Passed Away!

A genius in our time, Neil Simon passed away.
A great comedy writer and playwright passed away. The legendary Neil Simon passed away at the age of 91.

Best known for his famous play The Odd Couple, Simon is the master of meaningful humor and timeless classics.

Simon died early Sunday of complications from pneumonia at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, said Bill Evans, a longtime friend and spokesman for Shubert Organization theaters.

In the second half of the 20th century, Simon was the American theater's most successful and prolific playwright, often chronicling middle class issues and fears. Starting with "Come Blow Your Horn" in 1961 and continuing into the next century, he rarely stopped working on a new play or musical. His list of credits is staggering.

The theater world quickly mourned his death , including Tony Award-winning actor and playwright Harvey Fierstein, who tweeted that Simon "could write a joke that would make you laugh, define the character, the situation, and even the world's problems."

Matthew Broderick, who in 1983 made his Broadway debut in Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and his movie debut in Simon's "Max Dugan Returns," added: "I owe him a career. The theater has lost a brilliantly funny, unthinkably wonderful writer. And even after all this time, I feel I have lost a mentor, a father figure, a deep influence in my life and work."

For seven months in 1967, he had four productions running at the same time on Broadway: "Barefoot in the Park," ''The Odd Couple," ''Sweet Charity," and "The Star-Spangled Girl."

Even before he launched his theater career, he made history as one of the famed stable of writers for comedian Sid Caesar that also included Woody Allen, Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner.

Simon was the recipient of four Tony Awards, the Pulitzer Prize, the Kennedy Center honors (1995), four Writers Guild of America Awards and an American Comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement honor. In 1983, he had a Broadway theater named after him when the Alvin was rechristened the Neil Simon Theatre.

In 2006, he won the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, which honors work that draws from the American experience. The previous year had seen a popular revival of "The Odd Couple," reuniting Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick after their enormous success in "The Producers" several years earlier.

In a 1997 interview with The Washington Post, Simon reflected on his success: "I know that I have reached the pinnacle of rewards. There's no more money anyone can pay me that I need. There are no awards they can give me that I haven't won. I have no reason to write another play except that I am alive and I like to do it," he said.

Simon had a rare stumble in the fall of 2009, when a Broadway revival of his "Brighton Beach Memoirs" closed abruptly after only nine performances because of poor ticket sales. It was to have run in repertory with Simon's "Broadway Bound," which was also canceled.
Walter Matthau and Jack Lennon were the original Oscar and Felix.
The bespectacled, mild-looking Simon (described in a New York Times magazine profile as looking like an accountant or librarian who dressed "just this side of drab") was a relentless writer — and rewriter.

"I am most alive and most fulfilled sitting alone in a room, hoping that those words forming on the paper in the Smith-Corona will be the first perfect play ever written in a single draft," Simon wrote in the introduction to one of the many anthologies of his plays.

He was a meticulous joke smith, peppering his plays, especially the early ones, with comic one-liners and humorous situations that critics said sometimes came at the expense of character and believability. No matter. For much of his career, audiences embraced his work, which often focused on middle-class, urban life, many of the plots drawn from his own personal experience.

"I don't write social and political plays because I've always thought the family was the microcosm of what goes on in the world," he told The Paris Review in 1992.

Simon received his first Tony Award in 1965 as best author — a category now discontinued — for "The Odd Couple," although the comedy lost the best-play prize to Frank D. Gilroy's "The Subject Was Roses." He won a best-play Tony 20 years later for "Biloxi Blues." In 1991, "Lost in Yonkers" received both the Tony and the Pulitzer Prize. And there was a special achievement Tony, too, in 1975.

Simon's own life figured most prominently in what became known as his "Brighton Beach" trilogy — "Brighton Beach Memoirs," ''Biloxi Blues" and "Broadway Bound" — which many consider his finest works. In them, Simon's alter ego, Eugene Morris Jerome, makes his way from childhood to the U.S. Army to finally, on the verge of adulthood, a budding career as a writer.

Simon was born Marvin Neil Simon in New York and was raised in the Bronx and Washington Heights. He was a Depression-era child, his father, Irving, a garment-industry salesman. He was raised mostly by his strong-willed mother, Mamie, and mentored by his older brother, Danny, who nicknamed his younger sibling, Doc.
Jack Klugman and Tony Randall were the TV first version of The Odd Couple.
Simon attended New York University and the University of Colorado. After serving in the military in 1945 and 1946, he began writing with his brother for radio in 1948, and then for television, a period in their lives chronicled in Simon's 1993 play, "Laughter on the 23rd Floor."

The brothers wrote for such classic 1950s television series as "Your Show of Shows," 90 minutes of live, original comedy starring Caesar and Imogene Coca, and later for "The Phil Silvers Show," in which the popular comedian portrayed the conniving Army Sgt. Ernie Bilko.

Yet Simon grew dissatisfied with television writing and the network restrictions that accompanied it. Out of his frustration came "Come Blow Your Horn," which starred Hal March and Warren Berlinger as two brothers (not unlike Danny and Neil Simon) trying to figure out what to do with their lives. The comedy ran for more than a year on Broadway. An audience member is said to have died on opening night.

But it was his second play, "Barefoot in the Park," that really put Simon on the map. Critically well-received, the 1963 comedy, directed by Mike Nichols, concerned the tribulations of a pair of newlyweds played by Elizabeth Ashley and Robert Redford, who lived on the top floor of a New York brownstone.

Simon cemented that success two years later with "The Odd Couple," a comedy about bickering roommates: Oscar, a gruff, slovenly sportswriter, and Felix, a neat, fussy photographer. Walter Matthau, as Oscar, and Art Carney, as Felix, starred on Broadway, with Matthau and Jack Lemmon playing the roles in a successful movie version. Jack Klugman and Tony Randall appeared in the TV series, which ran on ABC from 1970-1975. A female stage version was done on Broadway in 1985 with Rita Moreno as Olive (Oscar) and Sally Struthers as Florence (Felix). It was revived again as a TV series from 2015-17, starring Matthew Perry.
Ron Glass and Demond Wilson were the second version of The Odd Couple.
The play remains one of Simon's most durable and popular works. Nathan Lane as Oscar and Matthew Broderick as Felix starred in a revival that was one of the biggest hits of the 2005-2006 Broadway season.

Besides "Sweet Charity" (1966), which starred Gwen Verdon as a goodhearted dance-hall hostess, and "Promises, Promises" (1968), based on Billy Wilder's film "The Apartment," Simon wrote the books for several other musicals.

"Little Me" (1962), adapted from Patrick Dennis' best-selling spoof of show-biz autobiographies, featured a hardworking Sid Caesar in seven different roles. "They're Playing Our Song" (1979), which had music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager, ran for more than two years. But a musical version of Simon's movie "The Goodbye Girl," starring Martin Short and Bernadette Peters, had only a short run in 1993.

Many of his plays were turned into films as well. Besides "The Odd Couple," he wrote the screenplays for movie versions of "Barefoot in the Park," ''The Sunshine Boys," ''The Prisoner of Second Avenue" and more.

Simon also wrote original screenplays, the best known being "The Goodbye Girl," starring Richard Dreyfuss as a struggling actor, and "The Heartbreak Kid," which featured Charles Grodin as a recently married man, lusting to drop his new wife for a blonde goddess played by Cybill Shepherd.

In his later years, Simon had more difficulty on Broadway. After the success of "Lost in Yonkers," which starred Mercedes Ruehl as a gentle, simple-minded woman controlled by her domineering mother (Irene Worth), the playwright had a string of financially unsuccessful plays including "Jake's Women," ''Laughter on the 23rd Floor" and "Proposals." Simon even went off-Broadway with "London Suite" in 1995 but it didn't run long either.

"The Dinner Party," a comedy set in Paris about husbands and ex-wives, was a modest hit in 2000, primarily because of the box-office strength of its two stars, Henry Winkler and John Ritter. A hit revival of "Promises, Promises" in 2010 starred Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes.
Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon in the most recent version of The Odd Couple.
Perhaps Simon's most infamous production was the critically panned "Rose's Dilemma," which opened at off-Broadway's nonprofit Manhattan Theatre Club in December 2003. Its star, Mary Tyler Moore, walked out of the show during preview performances after receiving a note from the playwright criticizing her performance. Moore was replaced by her understudy.

He wrote two memoirs, "Rewrites" (1996) and "The Play Goes On" (1999). They were combined into "Neil Simon's Memoirs."

Simon was married five times, twice to the same woman. His first wife, Joan Baim, died of cancer in 1973, after 20 years of marriage. They had two daughters, Ellen and Nancy, who survive him. Simon dealt with her death in "Chapter Two" (1977), telling the story of a widower who starts anew.

The playwright then married actress Marsha Mason, who had appeared in his stage comedy "The Good Doctor" and who went on to star in several films written by Simon including "The Goodbye Girl," ''The Cheap Detective," ''Chapter Two," ''Only When I Laugh" and "Max Dugan Returns." They divorced in 1982.

The playwright was married to his third wife, Diane Lander, twice — once in 1987-1988 and again in 1990-1998. Simon adopted Lander's daughter, Bryn, from a previous marriage. Simon married his fourth wife, actress Elaine Joyce, in 1999. He also is survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

"I suspect I shall keep on writing in a vain search for that perfect play. I hope I will keep my equilibrium and sense of humor when I'm told I haven't achieved it," Simon once said about his voluminous output of work. "At any rate, the trip has been wonderful. As George and Ira Gershwin said, 'They Can't Take That Away From Me.'"
