It Ain't "Trees!"

Rudy Samuel films Winfield, Kansas Police racially profile him.
Rudy Samuel is lucky to be alive today. He was a victim of racial profiling by a small town police force. Samuel was pulled over in Winfield, Kansas by the local police.

As most people who were pulled over for no fucking reason, Samuel whipped out the camera and turned on Facebook Live.

As he was recording, the officer claimed he pulled over because he did not signal 100 feet. Another bullshit excuse to justify unlawful detainment.

The cop observed a piece of vegetation in the window seal of his door. He picked it up without gloves and then went back to his car. Samuel said it was "tree stuff."

Samuel said that he should examine the evidence. The cop said that he didn't have the time for that.
The bully with a badge thought tree stubs in the window was drugs.
As the cop went back to his car, Samuel said that he doesn't even smoke or does drugs. Within a few minutes, the cop ordered him out the car and said he was being detained.

Samuel asked why he was being detained. The cop said he saw the vegetation in the window seal. The young man said that is a illegitimate excuse to pull over.

Within seconds, Samuel was forcibly removed from his car. As he was being pulled out, he said., "Facebook, Facebook." It was a call to let people share this video and spread the word.
Most Black people film police encounters now because they fear for their lives.
As he was being cuffed, he told the officer numerous times, he did not consent search. He said it multiple times. While the video goes dark, he was telling the cop, "he knew his rights."

After the detainment, he was let go with a warning.

The incident went viral.

Police chief Brett Stone had no comment on the matter.

See a Black man in a lily white Kansas town gets pulled over "twice." He tells the cops he knows his rights. Rudy Samuel knew that most pull overs may result in death.
