Tragedy In The Heartland!

Washington, Illinois suffered a mass outbreak of late season tornadoes.

From Kansas to New York, the heartland was hit with a bunch of massive storms that spawn tornadoes and damaging winds. Many Americans were rocked by late season weather that proved to be devastating.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those lost in this horrible tragedy.

Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and numerous states have confirmed a tornado touchdown.

How is this possible in the middle of the fall season?

Somehow it's a pattern that we've come accustomed to. I live in Ohio and the weather events are unique.

About three weeks ago they had an EF-0 tornado hit my community. And then we had about an inch of snow a week ago. Now last night we experienced a weather event that caused super cell storms which launched over 70 tornadoes.
Storm spotters see an EF-4 tornado.
Governors Pat Quinn (Illinois), Mike Pence (Indiana), John Kasich (Ohio), Tom Corbett (Pennsylvania) and Steve Beshear (Kentucky) declared a state of emergency for areas ravaged by the storm events.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden may tour the area in the coming days.

In Peoria and Washington, Illinois to Lebanon and Kokomo, Indiana there were confirmed EF-4 tornadoes that ravaged through the communities.

At confirmation there's at least 10 deaths from this weather event.

Again if you want to help especially when it comes to blood and cash donations, visit the American Red Cross and the United Way for assistance.
